Erickson, who is your first wide receiver to buy this week?
Andrew Erickson
Umeka Ebuka, wide receiver for the Buccaneers. It's so weird with Ebuka and what he's done over the last couple weeks because we're finally getting the high end target share, the air yards, the end zone targets and he's not producing versus the start of the year where it seemed like he was just running so hot on the sun with how well he was producing despite the fact that his targets weren't necessarily super super high. So this is a good process. I think when you're talking about buying wide receivers is you're you're chasing the high end usage that will eventually turn into top tier Production which you Already seen from McBuka to start the season last week he had nine targets which led the team but he only caught three passes for 35 yards. Again second straight down game for Abuka but 38% target share. He had two more end zone targets. He has four end zone targets over the last two games. Like he could have easily scored two touchdowns over the last two weeks. So ten plus targets last two weeks, four end zone targets. He has over one hundred and eighty incomplete air yards. So I think that maybe his hamstring injury is playing a little bit of a role here where we didn't even think he was going to play two weeks ago against the Lions. Right. He was very questionable for that Monday night contest. He ends up going in that game disappoints in the box score despite again having high end usage. So I think with the bye week this week he can get back, back to full health, come out of the bye week and just go on an absolute tear rest of season as the clear cut number one wide receiver for the Bucks. I don't care if Chris Goblin's coming back, I don't care if Jaylen McMillan is going to come back from his neck injury. Tez Johnson, it doesn't matter like he is the guy when there's no Mike Evans. And when you look at this schedule for the Buccaneers it is great up and down the board. And we look at week 16 and 17, panthers and dolphins, right. Like, like that Dolphin spot, he could be the highest scoring player that week if it's not one of the Buccaneers running backs. So I think on the bye week, especially if you are a manager that already has a lot of wins and the Ibuka manager maybe is you know, 3 and 5 or 4 and 4, they're not going to have him this weekend. If they need to get wins, I would go aggressively after the rookie from Tampa Bay.
Ryan Wormley
Do you worry about Baker Mayfield looking iffy or the last two weeks or do you just check chalk that up to it's just a kind of a two week slump because like Iuka has gotten 21 targets in the last two weeks. It's just he's only caught seven passes and like it's not like he's dropping balls right and left. Like Baker has looked kind of uneasy a little bit I guess in the pocket the last two games. I, I, he's done, I, I feel like he's built up enough goodwill that we can give him a bit of grace here and some of the benefit of the doubt. But is there Any concern for you, like, not that he's going to fall off a cliff here, but just that like with all the receivers going down and just the injuries AT T has been dealing with in general, that the offense as a whole will look a bit rockier?
Andrew Erickson
I don't think so. I do think that the bye week is coming at a perfect time for them. I. I think that Baker Mayfield has been kind of battling some injuries. They've had a lot of prime time games, playing a lot of short weeks, traveling a lot. So I think that if they come out healthy out of the bye week, that should get this, that should quote, unquote, right the ship for this Buccaneers offense. So, yeah, I just want to buy Bucks aggressively during their bye week.
Ryan Wormley
Who is your other wide receiver to buy?
Andrew Erickson
My other wide receiver to buy. So this is definitely a dumpster dive and you could probably include multiple players in this. So it's Joanne Jennings for the 49ers and I know I included Ricky Pearsall as a buy low target a couple weeks ago. I still think he kind of fits into that category. But we gotta get an idea of where he is health wise right now. We're still not really sure when he's going to come back from his injury. So right now Juwan Jennings is the quote, unquote, healthiest guy in this 49ers wide receiver room besides Kendrick Bourne. And it looks like Brock Purdy's going to come back. So last year, Juan Jennings was Brock Purdy's guy. Like that was what basically fueled the Juwan Jennings insane breakout. And it obviously hasn't been the case with Mac Jones as a quarterback where Mac Jones has really leaned more on Kendrick Bourne. So I think that getting Brock Purdy back matters significantly for what Jennings could do in this offense. And, and when you look at the 49ers rest of season, this team's gonna be playing in shootout after shooter after shootout because they have no one left on defense. Worm, every one of their defensive players is either on IR or hurt. And every single week they just lose more guys. So they can barely roster an NFL level defense and that's going to force Kyle Shanahan to have to air things out. And with their starting quarterback, Brock Purdy back under center, which is the expectation for week nine, I think Jennings is just one of these really sneaky buy lows where, I mean, he's probably on waivers somewhere in some leagues because he's just been downright terrible this year. However, over the last couple weeks he has been more involved. He has 14 targets last couple weeks and even last week he had the chance for like a 50 yard touchdown which he just dropped. So the usage has been pretty good for Juwan Jennings. Do I think that he's some elite talent player? Not necessarily. So this is really. Hey, you're really only going to buy low on Juwan Jennings just because I think that he is bound to regress positively with his normal starting quarterback under center. And the usage has been pretty decent for him over the last couple weeks. So for all those reasons, he's also facing the. Who is the 49ers playing this week? I believe it's. Is it the Tennessee. No, it's not the Titans. Worm, do you have. The 49ers are playing this week.
Ryan Wormley
They are playing the. I had it up a second ago. Sorry. The Giants.
Andrew Erickson
Okay.
Ryan Wormley
In New York.
Andrew Erickson
Yes. Okay. Okay. Yeah. So yeah, another defense that's really banged out. I was like, I know it's another defense that's missing a lot of pieces and I knew it was a good matchup. So yes, the New York Giants are on deck and I think that's a good spot for this 49ers offense to, to put up points. So Juwan Jennings for me is a super, super buy low option among wide receivers.
Ryan Wormley
I just, I really, I find myself not excited to trade for a guy with five broken ribs and multiple ankle sprain. Like even though he like he got seven targets in each of the last two weeks, like he's still been on the field and playing. Obviously you know, he's very tough and all that. Like it's just hard. But you're right, I mean like he hasn't like outside of week two. He has done absolutely nothing for you. Week eight was his highest finish besides week two. And, and he was wide receiver 47A week eight. Like, like just been totally unplayable. There's a reason he's only 75% rostered at this point in the season. Let me ask you this. Would you rather if we assume that their cost is in a real trade would be similar to what they are in the rest of season rankings? Juan Jennings is wide receiver 42 in rest of season. Ricky Piersoll is wide receiver 32 in rest of season consensus rankings? Would you rather trade for Pearsall at about the wide receiver 32 cost? Would you rather trade for Jennings at about the wide receiver 42 cost?
Andrew Erickson
I mean, I like both of them at their cost. I would say that I would still rather trade for Ricky Piersol because I, I do think that he is probably the more talented guy but I just don't know when he's coming back. Right. Think that's the hang up with Ricky Piersol is he's still injured and injured guys, injured guys are going to score less points than Joanne Jennings probably. So I think that if you need some immediate production right now, receiver wise or you're trying to flip one of these running backs that you're trying like a Chuba Hubbard, just flip Chuba Howard, get you on Jennings for free. Like that's like that's a move I would make because I think Hubbard's going to help you. Whereas Jennings, especially this week with Purdy coming back, I think that he could be in line for a bounce back game. We've seen the 49ers finalers offense produce high end receivers. It's mostly been Kendrick Bourne this year. But look, I think we're going to see that Purdy Jennings display or their chemistry on display in this particular matchup. So look, Jennings like yes, last week obviously was a disappointment. He did make one really nice catch though and he was close to scoring, you know, multiple times with end zone red zone targets. So again, just trusting the process here, chasing the usage for a player. I think the production is going to follow, especially when he gets his QB back.
Ryan Wormley
Jennings and Igbuka seem like strong buys. You can use the trade analyzer@fantasyprose.com myplaybook or on the Fantasy Pros app to evaluate how any trade will affect your team for this week, the rest of the season or even in dynasty. Erickson, let's go to your wide receivers to sell, which you told me it took you the longest to put together here.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah, this is the one that I probably struggle with the most because I'm always looking for like the process is just okay, who's the guy who scored a bunch of touchdowns on a long play that didn't see a lot of targets and just sell that guy. But because receivers are so volatile, like you might be right one week selling receiver and then the next week they bounce back. So it's kind of this like ping pong game where I'm trying to not get rid of guys I think are super talented just because they have a down week or they have a really good week and because a lot of receivers are going to be volatile in scoring. But so, but with these two particular receivers I think it's just worth the discussion of okay, where are we kind of valuing them rest of season? So the first guy is someone I had last week. It Was Jordan Addison. Usually when I list the guys to sell that plays on Thursday night, they usually go off for 200 receiving yards. That's basically kind of been the trend over the last couple weeks for those that have been reading the beyond the Waiver Wire article and following the show. But Addison was kept in check for the most part. Caught three or four targets for 26 yards. He did score a touchdown though. So he, he wasn't a total dud. He did enough for your lineup. But the Carson Wentz era is over in Minnesota. Didn't last very long. And it seemed like after that game where Wentz was taking hit after hit, he looked like he was done with football. And the Vikings have now put him on injured reserve just because he was dealing with so many different injuries. That guy looked like, just. He looked like that guy from the spongebob meme where he's just covered in bandages coming down the stairs, right? Everything. Like all of Carson Wentz was just banged up. So I, I get concerned about what this is now going to look like with J.J. mcCarthy under center because with Wentz, both Vikings receivers were performing at a pretty high level for fantasy football purposes. When you look at Jordan Addison, he had what or where did he rank? So Jordan Addison was top 10 in points per game in four games. With Carson Wentz as a quarterback, is that going to sustain? Is he just going to be a top 10 wide receiver and also out producing Justin Jefferson at the same time? Like that seems very unlikely to happen and sustain? I think Addison would probably have regressed in some capacity anyway because I don't think that he was going to finish the year as a top 10 wide receiver in fantasy football scoring. Again, he's still vastly exceed expectations from what I expected from. He is a really talented guy. But now you're throwing in a new quarterback that he's never played an NFL game with. That makes me concerned especially with Jefferson still in the fold. And if again, if I have to bet on one of these guys still maintaining their production, I would still bet on Jefferson over addison. But with McCarthy taking over as the quarterback and Wentz no longer an answer. Also, there's a concern where, what if McCarthy gets banged up again and now there is no Wentz to even go to. Now it's Max Rosmer is like the next quarterback and like, yeah, that is. Oh no. Like sound the alarms for this Vikings offense if it's him under center and not McCarthy or Wentz. So I just think there's a lot.
Ryan Wormley
Set aside the quarterback conversation putting Us aside for a second, I'm kind of just done talking about Jordan Addison regressing, right? Like, I, like this is like halfway through year three now and it's always about like, well, he's not going to catch as many touchdowns again. Well, he's not going to do it a third year. Well now this year, like, you know, he's going to regress because he's either getting 100 yards or a touchdown in every game. I just think he's a good player. And the fact that there's also a better player in this offense, I don't think is enough to say like, he's not going to get the workload to be productive in fantasy. Like, he was wide receiver 21 as a rookie. He was wide receiver 20 his second season. Like, obviously he's not wide receiver 20 right now because he missed several, you know, you know, three games. But he's been really productive in the game. He's been on the field. Like, I'm just kind of done thinking this guy's going to regress just because he's the number two in the offense and he doesn't get quote, unquote enough targets. Having said that, the best argument again, you know, for trading him right now is the quarterback. That is the part that, that's the only part of this conversation I'm really that interested in. I'm not really interested in like, oh, he probably would have regressed anyway or he was going to regress based off last year. I am interested in the like rookie quarterbacks, which J.J. mcCarthy essentially is almost never support multiple high end receivers. We've never seen them on the field together because the games that J.J. mcCarthy played, Jordan Addison wasn't J.J. mcCarthy didn't look that great. Although we certainly have co workers here who are really big believers in JJ McCarthy and think that he will look great and that it was, you know, this has been a legitimate injury, not a soft benching, which, you know, I believe too, and that he will come in and look good. Maybe that does happen. But to me the quarterback conversation is, is the reason to be interested in selling Addison. There's no other reason. I, I just believe in him as a player at this point.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah, and those are really good points to bring up Warren. And you're, you're right. Like I think that. And he definitely, I mean he proved I was wrong about Addison. Right. Like I, I was definitely on the regression type of analysis side with him and obviously his price tanked with the suspension this past year, but I was not right about him. And I will also say in his defense, I am also terrible at evaluating some of these receivers when the quarterbacks changes. Like. Like my track record with some of these players has been, oh, you gotta sell this guy because he's back quarterback. And then they smash and it doesn't matter. It's weird because this is like a different scenario where they actually were better with the backup quarterback than the starter. So it does create this like, interesting dynamic with how things will shake out. It also too depends on what can you get for Addison. Right. I think that in a vacuum, yes. Okay, you're going from Wentz to McCarthy. That will probably hurt the receiver production overall, just from what we've seen. But if people know that, right. What are you actually going to get in return for Addison? Like you said, so. And to your point, we. Addison is a good player, right? Like, he's a really good player. So if you can't sell him for anything, then he's probably. Would you agree that he's just a hold then at that point versus like a sell low?
Ryan Wormley
Yes, I would rather hold him than. Than. He's not a sell at any cost. He's a sell if you can get a lot. But I. I'm inclined to hold him.
Andrew Erickson
I would say too that the Vikings schedule isn't terrible rest of season for wide receivers and their quarterback. So look, I mean, if McCarthy can. If he can be the guy, right, the guy that the Vikings were suggesting that he could really be this year, then I mean, it's just gonna be another L for me selling a receiver with a backup quarterback. So.
Ryan Wormley
Make the case for me to sell a receiver who's coming off a zero target game.
Andrew Erickson
Well, like.
Ryan Wormley
Like what can you get from. Is the point. Obviously, I can see why you'd want to be out of the business of Quentin Johnston, but how are you going to convince your league mates to trade for a guy who had zero targets and who has two total catches in the last two weeks?
Andrew Erickson
Yeah. This is why selling wide receivers is the hardest part for me to fill out when we do the show sheet every single week. Because sometimes the planets don't align. Where I get a guy that's coming off a game where he has a. Not a lot of targets, but he catches like a long touchdown and then, okay, he's an easy sell high candidate. We talk about this sometimes too, where you don't get the luxury of selling high. Sometimes you have to sell low on players. So Quentin Johnston, I think that I also kind of put him on here because I thought that he deserved somewhat of a conversation about when we seen Gadsden kind of take off in this offense the last couple of weeks, that's really hurt Johnston the most. And it's funny because the minute that we feel comfortable putting Johnson back inside the top 24, like, okay, he's here to stay. This is the guy he goes back to, this really boom or bust up and down player that he's kind of been throughout his NFL career. Remember, this is the same Quentin Johnson from the end of his sophomore season where he had 185 yards in a game or 183 yards and the next week he had zero catches on five targets. So the boom or bust nature to him isn't really surprise. And I don't want to go back to. Well, he fooled us for the first couple weeks. I don't think that was like totally a mirage from Quentin Johnston, but I think that the production is just going to be inconsistent. So maybe this really isn't a sell Quinton Johnson right now. It's hey, sell him after he has another big game because he's probably going to have another big game at some point. So again, I guess I don't really have a great reason to sell him right now. Maybe he is more of a, you gotta sell in the future just because.
Ryan Wormley
We'Re selling him now. What would, what would you accept in return? Like, what would be enough to say, like, I just want to get out of this even if I'm selling.
Andrew Erickson
Well, I don't know. I mean, is it one of these where you just kind of sell for.
Ryan Wormley
Another six spots apart in consensus rest of season rankings that's within a reasonable range that you might find a manager who would want to make that move.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah, I think that he is a.
Ryan Wormley
Would you sell him for Jordan Addison?
Andrew Erickson
I think I, I think I probably would for Jordan Addison because I think that like you said, who's the better player? I think it's Addison destroyed Addison. Yeah. And I shouldn't even really be hesitant about that. They were drafted in the same draft class. Addison has been fantastic for all three years and Johnston has been really boomer bust. Even sophomore year he had high highs and some low lows. Now I will say that Johnson is going to have big weeks still. I mean, he could be terrible for the rest of the season and all he has to do is hit in Week 16 when the Chargers play the Cowboys and, and that can make him worth like getting for dirt cheap and just sticking on your bench the rest of the season he's just playing Week 16. He also could see a bounce back in terms of his production if there's like a Keenan Allen injury. Right. We don't see Kenan Allen usually play an entire length of a 17 game season. So yeah, maybe he's really not the best sell right now like you said. Worm, you make a really good point where you can't convince me to sell a guy coming off a zero catch game. Which you're probably right. But again, I was struggling to find names for wide receiver sales this week especially because there's team guys on buys. So Quentin Johnson I kind of want to just have on as a discussion point because I do think that there is a case where he could be kind of a really interesting buy low because you know that he's probably going to pop off at some point. When you look at, I mean this Chargers offense, man, like only twice in eight games has Herbert failed to get at least one of his two pass catchers to be a strong finisher. And sometimes it's three different guys that have produced in this offense through eight weeks. The lowest number one chargers wide receiver to finish is at wide receiver 21 and a half PPR. Like in one week that's the highest a Chargers receiver has finished. Like that's the worst is wide receiver 21. So again he's not going to have zero catches every single week. He's going to have a boom week. But I think that's maybe the time to flip. So this is more of a keep this in mind Quentin Johnson managers. That right now is probably again but maybe if you can sell for something right now, you know, someone's willing to kind of buy the dip, you know, like we kind of talked about, maybe that's the move to make. But do you have any other thoughts on Johnston?
Ryan Wormley
Not really. I kind of never even really got there early in this year. Like at a certain point the numbers are what they are and you have to buy in to a degree like after that first month. But I, I, I don't know that I was sitting there like overly confident about Johnston the rest of the season just because he had a really great September. And you know, you look in the last since those first four weeks finished, he's a wide receiver 64, 4.9 points per game. You know, in, in the game didn't play against Miami, he had 10 points against Indy, but that was because he got a touchdown. He only had 30 yards. And then now this is a new zero target game. Like he said, just as long of a stretch of doing nothing for you as he did doing a whole lot for you. So I, Yeah, I don't know that I ever got all the way into the like this is a top 18 receiver rest of season just because he had a really hot first month and that looks somewhat vindicated now. So, like, I would sell him for a pretty low cost.
Andrew Erickson
Would you? I'm. I hate that this guy keeps catching strays. But Chuba Hubbard. Would you rather have Chuba Hubbard or Quentin Johnson rest of season? I'd really have John.
Ryan Wormley
I think I'd.
Andrew Erickson
I really have Johnson. He's shown a ceiling where Hubbard does not have a ceiling, in my opinion.
Ryan Wormley
Yeah, I think I'd rather have Johnson. I, I see the case for Hubbard because if Dowdle were to go down, then you would at least assume that he's going to get, you know, a lot more volume. But yeah, I think I go Johnson. That's tough though. I think I see. I view them close to each other.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah.
Ryan Wormley
Let's go to the quarterbacks and tight ends. One buy from these positions and one sell from these positions. Who do you have?
Andrew Erickson
So we're gonna go with my cell first. It's Bonix. And the last couple weeks have been fantastic for Bo Nix. I think that he's probably the number one quarterback in total scoring points. I mean he, he was number one of the week against the Giants. Had another fantastic game against the Dallas Cowboys this week. Is not one of those defenses like he is playing the Houston Texans who have been one of the best defenses historically, like number one in terms of points allowed per game defensively. And Denver overall, their schedule is pretty tough. Bottom 10 per the fantasy pro strength of schedule tool. So I think that if you can flip a Bo Nix, I mean, who would you rather have rest season? We're in Bo, Knicks or Dakota after they just played each other.
Ryan Wormley
I have the two of them in a 1 QB league actually. And literally I have not gotten it right this season on which one of them to play. I have been wrong every single week until this week where. Okay, because on the, on the Friday show with Fitz and Debra, they were like anybody who has, you know, Bo Nicks ranked ahead of Dak Prescott just because of the mask matchups. Crazy. Dax been, you know, so much better than Bo this year. And I was like, yeah, but the Cowboys defense and Denver defense could not be more different from each other. And I started Bo Nicks instead of Dak. I did not listen to them and I was, you know, very strongly vindicated. But this is the only week I have gotten that decision right this year. So it's funny that you ask about them. I would probably rather have Dak. I haven't looked at his schedule so much. I know Boat does It doesn't matter.
Andrew Erickson
Like for Dak though because their defense is going to give up yeah 35 points every single week.
Ryan Wormley
No, no, you're true like it's a, it's in support of Dak because like I'm looking at Bo Nix' schedule right now and like you know, finishing with like at Kansas city in week 17 is not appealing. Like Green Bay could be tough in Week 15. Jacksonville has been a good defense. That's we, that's weeks 15, 16, 17 is Green Bay, Jacksonville, Kansas City. He placed he faces Kansas City another time. He has not faced them yet. Houston like that's a tough schedule so I think I'd probably rather have Dak.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah I, without a schedule I, I would agree.
Ryan Wormley
I'd rather and there's a pretty wide gap between them in consensus rankings. By the way, Dax like QB6 and Knicks is QB11.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah, I, I, I think Bo Knicks is really good when he has like very favorable matchups. Again I, I was on your side. I thought I liked Bo Nicks more than Dak Prescott last week when they were going head to head. But in tougher matchups, Bonix tends to underwhelm in, in a bigger capacity. So I do think that this would be a, a priority.
Ryan Wormley
I think the interesting thing for me would be like would you rather have Bonix or Daniel Jones rest of season? Like are you so totally convinced on Daniel Jones that you would rather have him or is there enough in the back of your mind like he could still turn into Daniel Jones that we, you know, know and less than love to to the point where you'd rather have Bonix because they're back to back in consensus.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah, I know the Colts schedule's a little bit tougher as well. I don't think that it's necessary as easy as the beginning of the season. But Daniel Jones has been a QB one before. Right, but so is Bo Nix, so I think it's, I think that's pretty close. I don't know if you're really gaining a major edge kind of choosing between those two players. I think that it's probably going to be a wash which is why they're probably ranked back to back. I think I'd rather go shoot for hey Dax, come off a terrible game. Let's go get Prescott. Let's Try to move up using bonix, maybe chipbonix for Lamar.
Ryan Wormley
It's kind of funny. Something like that or it's kind of funny. Daniel Jones. If you just look at his passing touchdowns by week it's 111-12-2233. It's literally either stayed the same.
Andrew Erickson
Continue to get better week. So three touchdowns, block of the week. Daniel Jones. He is raising the Pittsburgh Steelers. So it's probably gonna happen. Yeah.
Ryan Wormley
Yeah, probably. Did you say you're by? Yeah. You started with the cell?
Andrew Erickson
Yeah. I didn't do my buy yet. It's Colston Loveland is my tight end to buy. Usually I'm always just selling these old dusty veteran tight ends. But I was sick of talking about Kelsey and Mark Andrews for the billionth time on this show so I figured I go in the opposite direction. We're gonna buy a rookie tight end, Colson Loveland. So he did not have this super eventful national tight ends day, unfortunately. But he did kind of like low key, put season highs across the board. Now three for 38 and five targets is not, oh man, this guy's breaking out. But it was a positive development for the rookie tight end from Michigan. He did have a red zone target but he fell short of scoring. Still 80% of the snaps, 77 of the routes, those are all season highs including the five targets and the yardage totals. Colcomett is out with the back injury. There are two more injured receivers for the Bears. Luther Burton has a concussion. Alameda Zacchaeus has a knee injury. So the targets are starting to condense now a little bit within this Bears passing game where we know that a Dunes is at the top. DJ Moore is is capped out at this low a dot roll that he either rips off a big play because of a yak and he always gets like two carries every single week. We know what DJ Moore's role is. Whereas the guy that I think we could see unlocked this week is actually Colston Lovin. Because you know who he's playing this week?
Ryan Wormley
Byrne Bengals.
Andrew Erickson
He's playing the single handedly worst defense. I mean just overall probably and against tight ends that has ever existed on the face of the earth. I mean, I mean every tight end scores against this defense. So I think that we're going to see a Colson Loveland breakout game. So if you're hurting at tight end, this is the week to add Loveland, get him off somebody's bench for really, really cheap after he kind of put up a meh box score this past week. Although it was a positive development for what he's done so far this season and I think that the outlook is really good for him not only this week, but I believe next week at 2 because I think the Bears also have another great matchup in week 10.
Ryan Wormley
He's tied in 22 in rest of season rankings, by the way. Week 10 he faces the Giants tied at 22 in rest ranking. That's too low like that. I. I don't know where the. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know exactly how high he should jump, but he should jump some. He tied at 22 is too low.
Andrew Erickson
I will tell you exactly where he should jump up because I am definitely ahead of the ahead of consensus on him. My rest of season rankings because I'm trying to get ahead of I haven't tied in 15, so he's moving up 15.

Go to some audience questions here. We gotta get going shortly so we'll go through these pretty quickly here but first one, this comes from Discord offered CD Lamb for London and Sutton. It's an eight team PPR league. Which would you rather have CD Lamb or Drake? London plus Cortland Sutton in an eight team PPR league.
Andrew Erickson
I think I still want CD Lamb than the the two London and Sutton side of things. I still think that Lamb and what he can do just with the ceiling that he has with Dak Prescott. I mean I really like London too. Sutton has been up and down this year. He's had some big games. Obviously last week was a big disappointment but I don't necessarily love Sutton's schedule rest of season either. As we kind of talked about with Bo Nix, I think that does impact Sutton a little bit and we are starting to see like maybe his alpha grip on the being the number one guy for Denver is loosening just a little bit. We're starting to see more guys get involved in this offense. So I think I still, I mean I like the London Sutton side but I still think I prefer having the Alpha with CD Lam especially in full PPR and I guess if it's only an 18 league I still feel like my other wide receiver too is probably going to still be pretty strong.
Ryan Wormley
That that is the reason that I would if in a 12 team league I would not make this trade. In an 18 league I would I would rather just get me the the biggest name the best star that you can and you will you will have great depth in an 18 league regardless. So I because of the 18 league I would do this Some questions from Twitter Bree and Nico for Judkins and Amon Ra St Brown half PPR which side would you prefer? Bree and Nico or Judkins and Amon.
Andrew Erickson
Ra I think it's gotta be Judkins and Amon Ramon Raw I think is the best piece of the deal and the guy that I feel the most confident about his floor ceiling combination rest of season he was also a guy I was wrong about in draft season. I thought Jameson Williams is going to have this big role wrong couldn't have been more wrong. So if I could make this trade I would to get Amon Ra on my team because he's currently on zero of my teams.
Ryan Wormley
I have him in one team and it was guillotine so I picked him up partway through the season is it was a big spend give away Ashton Genti for Michael Pittman. Man I I wouldn't rookie second half. I know it's running back not receiver. I like Pittman but there's you know multiple mouths to feed. Taylor's gonna get a lot of touchdowns. I'd rather. I'd rather have I'm not saying it's like by this incredibly wide margin like you're crazy for asking but I would.
Andrew Erickson
Rather Genti no, I don't think it's crazy for asking. Pittman's a really talented guy and he's finally catching touchdowns for the first time. Genty is really weird rest of season because he has some matchups that are just look away. He's like you just don't want to see it. But then he has matchups where you could see Ashton Genti against the Bears type of level performance. So I think that there's enough good with him where he could deliver a couple weak winning weeks for you that I think that he's probably worth holding on to. I think maybe you got something else if it was Pittman plus maybe another one of these running backs that we talked about, maybe that would sweeten the deal for me and I'd feel like I'd like The package a little bit more but I think I'm going to keep Genty in this deal.
Ryan Wormley
12 team league half PPR. Should I trade Igbuka for Judkins? This guy is stronger at receiver. He has Chase, Rice and Sutton and then his running backs. He has Cook but then he has like Mason, Trey Benson, Taje Spears. So would you trade Igbuka for Judkins in that scenario? You only start two receivers in this league too. So Chase and Rice locked in Sutton at flex. You know you'd rather have a bucket than Sutton but you know there's not a ton of depth in the starting lineup like spots to fill.
United Airlines Advertiser
I mean.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah, no, I think that you laid out the case for why the trade makes sense and we talked about this myself and Welsh on some of the other shows last week where when you're trading a wide receiver for a running back you kind of have to trade a receiver in a tier up to get to a running back just because of the scarcity of the position. So I think that's kind of a perfect example. And you know again Judge is obviously coming off a bad game but before that like he was in a pretty high tier of running back. So maybe I'm. I'm too. I'm too much thinking about what Judkins just did in the fact that he has a shoulder injury. Maybe that's kind of like have why I'm a little bit hesitant but Brown schedule rest season's pretty good. So yeah I think that this is a good deal to make especially if you can only start two wide receivers.
Ryan Wormley
One qb, six point per passing touchdown league, very little on the waiver wire. A guy like Michael Penix is the best option out there. This guy has Caleb Williams. Should he be aggressive in trying to trade for a better quarterback than Caleb Williams in this league and if so, who should he target if you're looking.
Andrew Erickson
For a quarterback to trade for? There was a guy that I did. I think that Jordan Love is an interesting quarterback to trade for. I've talked about buying some of these packers players. I think that we could see this offense kind of hit its stride after this big win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. So I think that Jordan Love is an interesting by candidate. I think he's ranked back to back with Caleb Williams rest of season and the other guy too is Jackson. Dart like that would be another player I would go after. The Giants if their defense is continues to be so injured that they're going to play in a bunch of shootout game scripts and dart is going to Continue to make plays with his legs and throw the ball downfield to guys like Darius Slayton. So although Dart loses weapon after weapon every single week, the guy is still producing for fantasy football. And it honestly reminds me a lot of Drake May his rookie year where there's nothing around this guy but he find ways to get it done and throw for enough touchdowns and run for enough yards to get there for fantasy football purposes. So I think Jackson Dart would then be my like low key buy because Caleb couple good matchups the next couple weeks. So maybe that's when you consider selling high on him after he faces the Bengals and the Giants I believe is what you told me the matchups were for the Bears Worm. After those games the schedule gets really tough. So sell high after he faces the Giants. Maybe get Jackson. Darn your team as well. Jordan Love is another good option.
Ryan Wormley
I wonder if Baker Mayfield is attainable with just all the injuries to the receivers and coming off a couple down games and this is a 6 point per passing touchdown league. So you know, I, I, I think he's pretty enticing in that format as well if he's available. Last question here, Erickson. I wanted to leave longer time for this, but we do have to get going. Dino asked on on Discord Buy low targets for this week. Who will smash when someone on their team gets traded in real life NFL? Who are some guys that fit this bill for you that because of the real life NFL trade deadline you think are going to see their values change in fantasy?
Andrew Erickson
Okay, so one guy I think that could definitely get traded is Tony Pollard. I know that a lot of the smoke around the running back trades is Breece Hall. I think that's actually less likely to happen. I think Pollard getting dealt is probably more likely. The Titans are definitely sellers, right? Like they're, they're already like ready for 2026 so because they don't even have their head coach, right? So whereas Aaron Glenn as the jets head coach, if he trades away Breece hall, that's like one of his best players on offense. Like he is helping them win games like he did last week. So Aaron Glenn as the head coach of the jets isn't really incentivized to trade Breece hall for his own job security and for his own well being as the jets head coach. So I think Tony park could get traded and if that happens, who's the big winner? Tasha Spears. Because if Tasha Spears takes over like a 75, 80% snap roll then okay, even at a bad offense, negative game script, he Catches pass out of the backfield. You're getting into a lot of production with a guy like Tajie Spears. So he's owned in a lot of places, but not necessarily like, oh, I'm going to hold on to this guy really, really tightly. So he would be interested.
Ryan Wormley
I mean, if you think Pollard's getting traded, he benefits too. Like it's, I mean depending on where he goes, of course. But if he goes to a place with an opportunity, not that he's a league winning running back, but like he will almost certainly be on a better offense than what he's on now with more scoring opportunities and if he gets the opportunity to be the RB one, wherever it is he ends up, then I think he also would benefit. It would be, it would be beneficial to both guys.
Andrew Erickson
Yep. I would say that's a trade that could potentially happen with Tony Pollard getting dealt. The wide receivers who get moved. Jacoby Meyers seems like the most likely guy. I mean he literally requested to get traded and the Raiders have no reason to keep him around. They drafted two guys in the draft because they were going to get rid of Myers anyway, so. But are we excited about like Trey Tucker? Like maybe we should. He did score three touchdowns in one game this season, which is just absolutely bonkers. Think about that one game where he just like absolutely went nuclear and it's like, wait, this happened. What? Trey Tucker. So there are a couple Raiders guys that might get a bump. Brock Bowers. He's coming back, so that would just lock him in as I mean double digit targets every single week. So I think Bowers is still kind of like a buy low coming off of the bye week. He should be healthy. Obviously he's missed a lot of time with injuries. Jacoby Meyer, so not. I don't think Breeze hall is going to get traded, but if he does, Isaiah Davis would be the other name to monitor. He looked pretty good against the Cincinnati Bengals, second year running back there. Any other names I'm, I'm missing? Any other major players? Worm or any other guys that have been trades? I don't know.
Ryan Wormley
Truthfully, I wasn't really listening to what you said. I was trying to calculate if Trey Tucker has scored more points in all of his other games combined or. I mean probably not that week three.
Andrew Erickson
That one week was he.
Ryan Wormley
He has glorious but just barely. He has scored. He scored 36.9 half PPR points in week three and he's just about 40. A little over 40 in. In all the other weeks combined. So it's very close.
Andrew Erickson
I would say again, going back to the Titans, I think Calvin Ridley's probably going to get dealt. So again, I think that holding some of these rookie Titans pass catchers, Ella Guy, Manor, Shamari, dk, I think that those guys are interesting pieces to hold on to. I'm just looking through my notes here to see if there's any other guys I'm like missing as potential trade targets. I know the Steelers have talked about wanting to add a wide receiver, so I do like Metcalf as kind of like a buy low maybe you wait to buy low on DK Metcalf, they add a guy like Jacoby Myers or Calvin Ridley, does that really hurt Metcalfe too significantly? I mean maybe, but if anything it makes Metcalf a lot easier to attain. If there's a over analysis of oh well now Metcalfe's not going to see any more targets. I think it's just hey Calvin Austin, Roman Wilson, these guys aren't necessarily going to be staples in the Steelers passing attack. We're gonna do some other things. Last one, actually I wanted to mention Rashid Shahid. I think that he could get traded to the Bills. So he's kind of like on that waiver fringe. I think in some shower leaks. He's probably out there. Just Adam. Just Adam. Kind of see what things play out. It seems like he's more likely to get traded than Olave is. And although the Saints by the way.
Ryan Wormley
Named the starter going forward for the Saints, it is going to be shock. Going forward.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah. That is.
Ryan Wormley
