of Nancy Guthrie's disappearance from her Tucson home deepens after a neighbor reports seeing a suspicious man near Nancy's home just a few weeks before the 84 year old grandmother vanished.
Neighbor/Psychic (0:42)
I couldn't make out his face. He was in kind of street clothes, not shoes that you'd walk in. And he had a baseball hat really low and he was kind of hunched over and, and he was kind of looking around and he just didn't fit.

Also, a renowned psychic has camped outside Nancy's home hoping her visions can solve the case that seems to be cooling off.
Neighbor/Psychic (1:04)
I don't usually have dream visits other than my own mother and Nancy came to me, so.

It is Tuesday, March 10th. It is day 38 in the search for Nancy Guthrie. We're going to say it, the case is in a lull right now, but that does not mean the case is cold because there hasn't been these exciting updates like new images or footage or, you know, another person being detained in some massive SWAT bust. It does not mean the case is cold. It is only day 38. And I say only because a lot of times these cases, they just take time to get solved. This is an odd case from the beginning, no doubt about that. And around this time frame is when you've seen these cases in the past get solved. Bryan Kohberger, that was one in recent memory. It got into the 40 day area and that case was solved. So all we can do right now is trust the investigation. Since we last talked about Nancy Guthrie, Savannah has returned to New York. Savannah Guthrie, host of the Today show, the daughter of Nancy Guthrie. She was back on set, not on set as in on air, but she visited the set of the Today show last week and was clearly emotional, talking to the crew members, thanking them for their prayers and support and saying that her faith Is the only thing getting her through this difficult time. She was also spotted in New York Sunday. So she's still there. She was spotted with her husband, Michael Feldman. And to me, this just says at some point, Savannah, and which we already kind of saw this publicly made peace with the fact that her mom may not be with us anymore. But if she's in New York and staying in New York, which is what it looks like at this point to me, it seems that there had to have been some type of closure she has made with herself that they might not find her mother, period. Of course she's never going to give up hope, But I think to leave and go back across the country, you have to give yourself some type of closure personally to go on. And there's so many cases that they've been missing for years before they're found. And you just can't expect Savannah, who is a working gal, to sit around and mourn forever. We saw that Savannah and her siblings, Annie and Tommaso, her brother in law, went last week to Nancy's home, publicly laid flowers down at the memorial outside of Nancy's driveway. Very emotional. And that to me was maybe them saying, this is what we're gonna do here. We're gonna honor our mom. We're gonna not give up hope. But then Savannah went back to New York to pick up her life. She's made it clear she wants to return to the today show. So we'll see when she's back in the chair. And it'll be a very hard day. But like we've said, it's at some point she can't just sit in Arizona and wait. Or maybe some people think that she should. But that's where we can differ on opinion there. There's been some small developments that really just helped me understand this case better that have happened since we last spoke. There was this wonderful interview that Brian Enten with news nation did with a neighbor that lives on Nancy street. This is a neighbor that. That has let him park in their yard because, you know, the media was kicked off the street and they formed a relationship. And this neighbor shared this story about around the time of January 11. She, who has lived in this neighborhood for decades, noticed a man that was strangely walking around with his hat very down over his eyes and clothes that you're not exercising in. And he was walking very slowly. And it alarmed her so much that she mentioned it to her husband. She described it as being freaked out. And she said she's never freaked out. She can think of one time in all the time that she's lived there, where something kind of gave her the heebie jeebies. And that January 11th date is the other date that the FBI keeps asking neighbors for camera footage for any information on January 11th. And it is a very eerie feeling to know that she saw that guy around that same time. But the other thing that this interview with the neighbor gave me was a very good perspective of the terrain of Nancy's neighborhood. And you're dealing with what we know. Obviously, these are very nice houses, the Catalina foothills area of Tucson, very nice houses, over a million dollars. And you have land. You're not saying seeing your neighbor through the kitchen sink window, you have cacti and vegetation and space, really, but also in the neighborhood. And I looked around on every link I could find on Zillow and Google, you could see some of these terrain elements, something they call washers, which are basically trenches where. Where this neighbor said in high school she could ride horses through when they were dry. But when they're wet, it's like a rushing river. And they can be very dangerous. But these run in that neighborhood parallel to the roads. And then there's those tunnels that go from that neighborhood all the way down for miles. And we know that searchers have searched the tunnels, they've looked around the washers. But there's just a lot of ways to maneuver this neighborhood. It's not a grid road system. And specifically behind Nancy's house, there's an open space before you get to another road. And so a lot of people think that the person that did this, this guy that's on the front doorbell camera, like maybe was able to do something with the back door and the back area, maybe come through the back. We still don't have a car, but I found the neighbor. Describing the neighborhood just really helped me think about the ways someone could have gotten around that night in the dead of night with no streetlights. There is this case of another woman named Nancy, actually Nancy Woodrum. And there is striking similarity to the Nancy Guthrie case. This case was from 2018, and this is about a 62 year old that was taken from her bed in the middle of the night. In the Nancy Woodrum case, it turned out the person that took her from her bed in the middle of the night and killed her was a guy who painted her deck right before her disappearance. And what made this case kind of drawn out, if you will, is because there was a wedding there at Nancy Woodrum's place, and there was a lot of people investigators had to Go through and clear just how the Nancy Guthrie case. They're going through the family and they're clearing people. The Uber driver had to be cleared. That took Nancy to Annie and Tommaso's house. It took them a while. And the way investigators got him were they followed him to a restaurant, and he was drinking a can of coke and he left the table. And that's how they were able to get his DNA and match it to the unidentified DNA in Nancy Woodrum's home. So very weird that this came out on a popular podcast January 20th of this year, right before Nancy Guthrie went missing on February 1st. And you hear about copycat crimes all the time. It's one of those things that one should give you hope that they're still working hard in the Nancy Guthrie case. And there's a lot of favor, I guess you could say, of why people think this case will be solved. There's been no shortage of interesting things happening around this Nancy Guthrie investigation. There have been psychics and mediums talking about this. This one psychic, who claims she helped Ricki Lake find her late husband when he went missing, came to this scene two days ago to just see what she could see, see what she could hear. And the psychic said while standing there, she was on this streamer's YouTube channel called JLR. She was saying that she just thinks the answer's right under her nose of the. You know, they're gonna. The answer's obvious, so to speak. And she said that she's helped solve a lot of cases with kids that have been missing. And you can say what you want, think what you want about psychics, whether you believe it or not. But Brian Enten said that he has talked to people at Pima County Sheriff's Department who say we have to even take the psychic tip seriously and look into them and listen to what they have to say. Because there's been times where someone calls in a tip as a psychic that's not really a psychic, but they're just trying to cover the real evidence or the real tip. They don't want to be associated with having any connection to the person they know something about. So in that sense, you're like, yeah. Like, you're not saying that you. You know, or believing this science, I don't know what other word to call it, behind a psychic, but that someone could be calling in and being like, hey, I'm a psychic, and the person's behind this McDonald's off 7th Street. And you're like, that's weird. Yes. It came to me in a dream. And the investigators are like, okay, they have to follow that lead because someone could be acting like they're a psychic. Well, the psychic that came to Nancy Guthrie's house did say that Nancy came to her in a dream and she was in the area and thought she would stop by. We shall see. A lot of people have obviously moved on from this case. The big media has moved out, but it's only day 38. And I just keep saying this because the people in this area want everyone to keep this case in the forefront. They want this case to be solved. This person that was capable of doing this, Nancy Guthrie, is still on the loose. So they don't want the coverage to stop. So we're going to continue to follow this and bring updates whenever they come in. And hopefully we get the big break in this case soon. Maureen o', Connell, who is a former FBI agent who I personally love, says that she likes when cases get quiet like this because she thinks that's when the real work is being done. So again, that $1 million reward still on the table for anyone with information leading to Nancy's recovery. 1-800-call FBI is the number to call there. Also 88 crime in Tucson is a local crime stoppers organization. I'm Lyndon Blake and this is Finding Nancy Guthrie. A Daily Wire True crime investig.
