How to be a successful real estate agent in 2025. Let's dive in. So the first thing is market trends. What is happening both locally and nationally. You could talk about, people want things that are current, recent and relevant. So inflation, interest rates, inventory, days on market. Start talking about that with relevant information. Think about what you Googled today. You googled 2025. Number two, artificial intelligence chat, GPT. Call Claude. They can be your best friend and save you significant amounts of time. And let me just give you one little pro tip. You want to create your own personalized bot where you upload your own content, your own videos, your books, anything that you have into your bot. So it will sound more like you utilize this as your friend. It's not going to take over your job in real estate. But if you don't start utilizing the tool, it will take over because you need to harness this technology. Think about this. You can do anything. Scripts, headlines, emails. It can do anything for you. And it can do it in your voice if you do it correct. The next thing is demographics in your area. Like think about it. Next year a ton of Gen Z buyers are entering the real estate market and they are searching. So you want to be thinking about what type of things would a Gen Z buyer start searching and start creating content like that so that when people go online your content shows up. Or let's be more specific to the area that you live in. What are people googling and thinking about in your specific area? Who is the demographic that's moving in? Is it young children? Is it somebody that wants to live, you know, close to all the shopping? Or is it somebody that wants to live in a more rural area? Are the schools important because the kids, you get the drift. Think about the demographics and it's not that difficult. You can just go to answer the public.com and you can go there and type in real estate and it's going to tell you all the different questions that come up that people are typing into Google about real estate. And and then you just hit play on your phone and start creating content, answering the questions that people are actually typing into Google. And make sure when you get that video content you repurpose it on multiple sites. So start educating them about what is happening right now in the market. Think about it. The 3% is never going to come back. And so you need to be creating content saying if you're waiting for interest rates to go to 3%, it's not going to happen. And here's why you should purchase now. Here's why you should sell now create content, giving them the information that they need that's relevant to what's happening right now. Here's the thing, people, they don't know what they don't know. You need to tell them and make sure what you're telling them is close in proximity to them, is irrelevant to them specifically and is recent. The more that you can do those three things in any of your content research shows the more people will watch and engage and be interested in your content. And the last one, it's a no brainer people. Social media. Where you're watching me right now is you're on social media social. So you need to create a very strong social media following. Pick your platform, maybe it's Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, I don't know. Find out where your avatar is most likely to be and start creating content on that platform. Engaging with people, talking to people, liking people's things, sharing, engaging with them so that they will engage with you and make sure that you do this consistently. Best way again to do this on social media platforms is utilizing video content. And why is video content so important? Because one minute of video is equivalent to 1.6 million words. A picture cannot develop a relationship with somebody. A picture has no expression or personality. A picture doesn't make somebody say I want to be their friend, but video content does. Video helps you develop a relationship with people. It's actually called a parasocial relationship, which means that people develop a relationship with you on the other side of the screen. Just think about this video you're watching right now. Think about, do you know me a little bit better now than you did when the video first started? You're seeing that I have hopefully value. That's why you're still watching. That's what you need to create with people in your community. The goal is for you to win before you arrive, when before you shake their hand. The easiest client to actually convert is when that already is sold before you even get there. Video content, having a strong social media presence, developing relevant current information that talks about their community and about what's happening nationally and locally. All of that is going to help them elevate your authority, see you as not just a person, but when they trust right and you will be their go to trusted agent. All of these things are essential for you to do right now in 2025 to build a lasting business that you not only survive but that you thrive. So start doing all of it right now.
