Three toxic beliefs that are keeping you broke and your clients broke, even if you work hard. And I'm willing to bet that you have at least one of these beliefs running in your head right now without even realizing it. If you're working your butt off right now, you're struggling financially, or if you feel like everyone else is getting ahead while you're not, you're still in the same place and you're tired of hearing just work harder when you're already giving everything you've got. This video is going to be your wake up call. And let me tell you something. I know this stuff works because I have not lived at home since I was 13 years old. I. I've been in a foster home, group home, juvenile hall, and I have built a business from zero figures to just under $70 million in seven and a half years. And this is exactly how I did it. It's the beliefs that you carry in your head about money, about success, and what it takes to get there. And today I'm going to be calling out the three most toxic beliefs that I see. Keeping hardworking entrepreneurs broke. And more importantly, I'm going to show you how to actually change that. The first toxic belief that is keeping you broke is scar thinking. And this usually sounds something like money doesn't grow on trees or there's not enough to go around. I'm going to have to work harder than everybody else to get ahead. Or rich people are gritty. Now I get it. Maybe you grew up hearing these things. My parents said those things sometimes, too. Maybe your parents struggled financially and passed down these beliefs to you. But here's what you need to know. These beliefs are not protecting you, they are limiting you. When you operate from a scarcity mindset, you make decisions from a place of fear. Fear instead of a place from opportunity. And you undercharge for your services because you're afraid clients won't pay you. You don't invest in your business growth because you're afraid to spend the money right. You don't think big because you don't believe that big success is possible for someone like you. Like, when I first started coaching, I charged for free for two reasons, actually. Number one, I had to show proof of concept. Number two, I was scared. I didn't think anybody would ever pay me. In fact, people said to me, kristin, nobody's going to pay you to coach them. Do you know I've had a $4 million month in coaching before? It took me, I think, 14 years to hit a million dollars in a year. So do not listen to some people. That's a whole other story. I was so afraid to ask for more money that I thought I had to be grateful for whatever came my way. But guess what? That's exactly what I got. In the beginning, I got crumbs. Here's how I shifted. And here's how you can shift from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset. Start seeing money as a tool, not as something scarce. Money is literally everywhere. It's changing hands constantly. It's being created every single day. Your job isn't to hoard it or to be afraid of it. Your job is to provide so much value that people are happy to actually exchange their money for your solutions. So start saying this instead. There's an unlimited amount of money available to me when I provide unlimited value to others. Because that is what the truth is. Second, toxic belief is what I call the hustle trap. The idea that you just. If you just work hard enough long enough, success will eventually find you. This sounds like this in your head. I just need to hustle more. Sleep is for the week. I'm not. If I'm not exhausted, I'm not doing enough. Listen, I'm not against hard work, but hard work without a strategy, it just is useless. You're. You are wasting your money and time. And here's what you need to know about the hustle mentality. It's actually keeping you broke because you're confusing being busy with being productive. And I see entrepreneurs working 80 hours a week, answering emails at midnight, saying yes to every opportunity and wearing their exhaustion like it's a badge of honor. But their bank account tells a different story. So here's what you absolutely need to know, and keep this in your head. Working harder is not the same as working smarter. And if you're not making the money you want, the solution isn't more hours, it's better strategy. Instead of, I need to work harder, start thinking I need to work smarter. Focus on the 20% of activities that actually generate 80% of your results. Learn to say no to good opportunities so you can say yes to the great ones. And please, for the love of all that's holy, get some sleep. Your brain needs to rest to function at a high level. Ask yourself questions like these. What's the highest skill that I can do today that's going to move my business the fastest? It's going to move it forward. Then do that thing first, not last. The third toxic belief that's keeping you broke is imposter syndrome disguised as Humility. This sounds like I'm not ready to charge premium prices. Or who am I to call myself an expert? I need more experience before I can help, really help people. I'll raise my prices when I get insert. Whatever it is, this belief is sneaking because it feels responsible and humble. But really, it's fear dressed up as a virtue. Here's what I've learned after coaching thousands of entrepreneurs. You will never feel ready. There will always be someone who knows more than you, has more experience than you have, or who even seems more qualified than you are. And if you wait until you feel ready, you'll be waiting forever. But here's the real thing. Here's the kicker. While I was busy thinking I wasn't ready, people with half my experience were charging double what I was charging and getting those clients. Why? Because they believe in their value. And belief is contagious. So stop waiting for permission to own your expertise. You don't need to be the world's leading expert to help people. You just need to be a few steps ahead of the people that you're trying to serve. Your clients don't need you to be perfect. They need you to get them results. And if you've got results for yourself or even one other person, you are qualified to help other people get those same results. So start thinking, I am enough. I know enough. I have something valuable to offer right now. Because you do. And know this. Here is. What is so scary about these toxic beliefs is that they compound when you have all three ring at the same time. They create this perfect storm of self sabotage. You think money is scarce. You. You. So you undercharge. You think you need to work harder instead of smarter, so you burn out. You think you're not ready, so you never position yourself as the expert that you actually are. And the result? You stay stuck in the same income bracket year after year, wondering why nothing changes despite all your hard work. I lived in this cycle for way too long. But once I identified these beliefs and consciously, consciously worked to flip them, everything changed. My income didn't just grow, it exploded. And it wasn't because I started working more hours. Actually, I started working fewer hours but making more money because I was doing the right things.
