One of the key secrets to my success is utilizing a vision board. And here was cool about a vision board. It's like visuals of exactly what it is that you want to create. Now, I know you've heard about vision boards before and you think, oh, that's kind of a fun little, you know, artsy, craftsy idea. No, it actually works. I'm going to tell you a quick story. I was watching the Secret. I'm sure you've ever heard of the Secret, but John Azeroth was talking about how he was moving one of these time, one of the ones, and his son grabbed this box. And his son said, hey, dad, what's in the box? Well, he pulls out a vision board. And on the vision board, this is the craziest thing. Years, years before, John actually put a picture of a house that he wanted to one day own. And he realized when his son pulled out the vision board and asked his dad what it was, he realized that not only was the house that was on his vision board similar to what the home he was living in, he was actually living in the exact same house that he put on the vision board years and years prior. Now, vision boards are something that very successful people do, right? A lot of people think that it's just like a fun little crafty thing to do, and really it's not. It is actually giving your brain a roadmap to show you exactly what you want to do. So I'm going to show you my vision board. Here's one of them. I'm showing you when that's older, because I want to show you that most things on this vision board have actually come true. I'll tell you a story about my own personal vision board. And I remember when I wanted to become a coach, I ended up hiring this mentor and many of his people had won these things called a 2 comma club award. And what that is, a 2 combo club award is basically where you do over a million dollars in one single marketing sales funnel. Now, I had no idea what a funnel was like. They were talking about funnels and I'm like, funnel cake. Like, I love funnel cake. They were talking about marketing funnels and they had this award ceremony where there was all these people winning like awards for doing over a million dollars in their coaching business and in their businesses. And I thought to myself, I want to get one of those. And mind you, I was just starting out, didn't even know what a funnel really was. But what I did was I took a picture of a funnel. The award, the 2 comma Club Award and I had it printed. I put my name on it and I took that picture of a 2 comma club award with my name on it and I put it in the bathroom because I like, I use the bathroom a lot. Cause I drink a lot of water, right? I'm always doing it now, so I drink a lot of water. So I put that in the bathroom so I could see my name on the 2 comma Club Award. I put it on my vision board so I'd see it on my vision board. And do you know that after 11 months in, in a brand new business, I hit the 2 comma club award and then three or four months after that hit another one and then it was like I had hit multiple 2 comma club awards within a year and a half. And in fact, like I'm going to show you an example of what I've done since then. And it's only been six years. So in six years we've done $60 million in a brand new coaching business utilizing sales funnels when I had no idea what a funnel was. So this is what it looks like now. Crazy. Oh my gosh. But it all started from my vision board. So here's what we're going to do together. This is the funnest activity. In fact, if enough of you say that you want to do it, we'll actually do a vision board making night and we can show, we can share pictures of it. But here's an example. So this right here is like mom, right? Like I, I really, it was important for me to have a family and I actually have a blended family. So I'm remarried, I have been for 15 years and I have two daughters coming into our marriage right at the time they were like, I think they were like 8 and 11, 7 and 10, something like that. And my bonus son, Casey, he was around 11 at the time and we had difficulty like blending our families, right. And I will tell you, it took a long time for that to happen. But I put it on my vision board and now it's happening. You can see here, here's a picture of me and Casey way back when, right? This is like, like boss, this is me when I wanted to start a new, a new company again. Family was really important. Laughing I've got that. Ooh, this is important. Like it shows me, you know, with it, with a gorgeous, gorgeous home here. That house actually came on the market, believe it or not, a little bit above my price range right now, but eventually I'll get there. But I put things in here that were important to me. And at the time, family was very important. Still is building my business was very important, my marriage was very important. And these are the things that I put on my, my vision board here it says like, hot list, this is her business. I mean, I ended up getting like nominated for one of the most influential successful people along with Tony Robbins and a bunch of other people in 2023. And again, when I wrote that on my vision board, I had no idea how to do it. So creating a vision board is one of the best kept secrets that successful people utilize. So what you want to do is you want to create your own vision board you want to think about. And it's right now with ChatGPT and you know, the Internet, you can just put in what you want. It'll put beautiful pictures for you you can put on your vision board. I want you to think about what it is that you want. Remember the way that our brains work is that what you think about becomes things. Our brains don't know the difference between what you're thinking about and visualizing and seeing than actually what you're getting. So the more that we can help our brain train it to get what we want, it's going to help us align our activities, align what we're doing to get that end result. And it's such a fun thing, like being able to look at it and dream is important. So don't like when you're doing this, I don't want you to like hold yourself back, don't limit yourself back. Don't let limiting beliefs or those things like how the heck am I going to do that? Like, don't let that get in the way. This is a fun thing that you're going to do where you're going to think about what it is that you want in your life. You're going to put it down on your board. I've envisioned board making parties with my entire community. Like this is how important and how much I believe in this and how I know that it works, right? So bring your family and bring your kids and bring your friends and have a vision board making party. Get their buy in and let's get, you know, creating the life that you deserve and have a visual representation of exactly what it is that you want that you look at on a daily basis. Remember, I even put my vision board in my bathroom as well. My husband's like, what's all this stuff in here? I'm like, babe, I'm creating my life, right? And I'LL tell you it actually happened. So a vision board has been one of the best kept hidden secrets to, you know, train my brain to get the success that I want. I'm going to really encourage you to build your own. This isn't just craft making. This is, this is you crafting your ideal life. This is you, you know, making and developing exactly what it is that you want to do. Plus, it's super fun.
