El: Η Αθήνα ήταν γεμάτη ζωή, καθώς η άνοιξη έφερνε τις πρώτες ανθισμένες κερασιές.
En: I Athina was full of life as spring brought the first blooming cherry trees.

El: Μέσα στην αστυνομική υπηρεσία, το κλίμα ήταν λιγότερο επίσημο από ό,τι κανείς θα περίμενε.
En: Inside the police department, the atmosphere was less formal than one might expect.

El: Οι τοίχοι είχαν αφίσες με αρχαία ερείπια, και στη γωνία υπήρχε μια παλιά καφετιέρα που δύσκολα θυμόταν καλύτερες μέρες.
En: The walls had posters of ancient ruins, and in the corner, there was an old coffee maker that hardly remembered better days.

El: » ρώτησε ο Δημήτριος, αποσπώντας το ενδιαφέρον ενός αστυνομικού που έτρωγε την τυρόπιτα του.

En: "No, seriously!

El: Έχασα ένα άγαλμα του Δία στο κυνήγι μου!
En: I lost a statue of Dias during my hunt!"

El: » είπε ο Δημήτριος, σηκώνοντας τα χέρια με στόμφο.
En: said o Dimitrios, raising his hands dramatically.

El: Οι αστυνομικοί άρχισαν να γελούν διακριτικά.
En: The police officers began to laugh discreetly.

El: Η Σοφία έσπευσε να εξηγήσει την κατάσταση με μεγαλύτερη σοβαρότητα.
En: I Sophia hurried to explain the situation more seriously.

El: «Όχι στ' αλήθεια.
En: "No, really.

El: Είχαμε ένα κυνήγι θησαυρού.
En: We had a treasure hunt.

El: Το άγαλμα ήταν μέρος του παιχνιδιού, αλλά τώρα λείπει πραγματικά.
En: The statue was part of the game, but now it's genuinely missing."

El: »Ο Δημήτριος χαμογέλασε, μάλλον λίγο πιο ήσυχα από το συνηθισμένο.
En: O Dimitrios smiled, perhaps a little more quietly than usual.

El: «Τώρα βλέπω ότι οι φάρσες μου θολώνουν την ευχαρίστηση που θέλω να δώσω στους άλλους.
En: "Now I see that my pranks cloud the enjoyment I want to give others.

El: Θα προσπαθήσω να είμαι πιο άμεσος την επόμενη φορά», είπε, καθώς η παρέα άρχισε να αποχωρεί από το Τμήμα.
En: I'll try to be more straightforward next time," he said, as the group began to leave the Department.

En: "Perhaps, though, the best stories are those that we don't plan at all," she continued, as the spring breeze spread around them.
