Story Transcript:

El: Καλοκαίρι στην Αθήνα είν’ ομορφιά.
En: Summer in Athina is beautiful.

El: Ο Ανατολικός ήλιος λάμπει στον Εθνικό Κήπο, όπου είναι μαζεμένοι ο Κώστας, η αδερφή του η Ελένη, και ο Δημήτρης, φίλος της Ελένης.
En: The eastern sun shines over the Ethnikos Kipos, where Kostas, his sister Eleni, and Dimitris, a friend of Eleni, are gathered.

El: Έχουν έρθει να κάνουν πικνίκ.
En: They have come for a picnic.

El: Ο Κώστας έφερε μαζί του την αγαπημένη του χελώνα.
En: Kostas has brought along his beloved turtle.

El: Όμως, μέσα στο χάος και την ζέση του καλοκαιριάτικου πικνίκ, η χελώνα τον ξεγλιστράει.
En: However, amidst the chaos and heat of the summer picnic, the turtle slips away.

El: «Μα πού είναι η χελώνα μου;
En: "But where is my turtle?"

El: » αναρωτιέται ξαφνικά ο Κώστας, τρέχοντας με αγωνία γύρω από την κουβέρτα τους.
En: Kostas suddenly wonders, running anxiously around their blanket.

El: Η Ελένη, πιο πρακτική όπως πάντα, τον κοιτάζει και λέει: «Χαλάρωσε, Κώστα.
En: Eleni, more practical as always, looks at him and says, "Relax, Kosta.

El: Θα την βρούμε.
En: We'll find it.

El: Ας χωριστούμε και ας ψάξουμε.
En: Let's split up and search."

El: »Ο Δημήτρης, που θέλει να εντυπωσιάσει την Ελένη, προσπαθεί να σκεφτεί μια έξυπνη λύση.
En: Dimitris, who wants to impress Eleni, tries to think of a clever solution.

El: «Να ψάξουμε κοντά στα δροσερά μέρη», προτείνει, κοιτάζοντας γύρω στα σιντριβάνια και τις σκιές των δέντρων.
En: "Let's search near the cool areas," he suggests, looking around the fountains and the shadows of the trees.

El: Οι τρεις τους ξεκινούν την αναζήτησή τους.
En: The three of them start their search.

El: Ο Κώστας τρέχει ανάμεσα στις τουλίπες, ρωτώντας περαστικούς αν έχουν δει τη χελώνα του.
En: Kostas runs among the tulips, asking passersby if they have seen his turtle.

El: Η Ελένη κοιτάζει κάτω από τα παγκάκια, ενώ ο Δημήτρης εξετάζει προσεκτικά μονοπάτια.
En: Eleni looks under the benches, while Dimitris carefully examines pathways.

El: Ο κόσμος είναι πολύς.
En: There are many people.

El: Ο κήπος γεμάτος χρώματα και φωνές παιδιών.
En: The garden is full of colors and the voices of children.

El: Ο ήλιος λάμπει, όμως ο Κώστας αρχίζει να χάνει την ελπίδα του.
En: The sun is shining, but Kostas begins to lose hope.

El: Ξαφνικά, μια αναπάντεχη σκηνή διακόπτει τη σκέψη του.
En: Suddenly, an unexpected scene interrupts his thoughts.

El: Ο Δημήτρης σκοντάφτει.
En: Dimitris stumbles.

El: Πέφτει με τα αυτοκίνητα πάνω σε μια ελαφριά πράσινη καμπύλη που προσπαθεί να σκαρφαλώσει στο διάδρομο μιας μοδάτης κουβέρτας.
En: He falls onto a light green curve trying to climb the walkway of a trendy blanket.

El: «Η χελώνα!
En: "The turtle!"

El: » φωνάζει ο Κώστας, τρέχοντας προς το μέρος του.
En: shouts Kostas, running towards him.

El: Η χελώνα του τον κοιτάζει, σαν να τον κοροϊδεύει για την αναστάτωση που προκάλεσε.
En: His turtle looks at him, as if mocking him for the commotion it caused.

El: Η ανακούφιση και η χαρά κυριεύουν τους φίλους.
En: Relief and joy fill the friends.

El: Όλοι μαζί γελούν και αποφασίζουν να γιορτάσουν με παγωτό από το διπλανό πλανόδιο.
En: They all laugh and decide to celebrate with ice cream from a nearby vendor.

El: Ο Κώστας μαθαίνει να προσέχει περισσότερο, ο Δημήτρης γεμίζει αυτοπεποίθηση και η Ελένη αρχίζει να εκτιμάει την ευρηματικότητα του Δημήτρη.
En: Kostas learns to be more careful, Dimitris gains confidence, and Eleni begins to appreciate Dimitris's resourcefulness.

El: Η ημέρα στο πάρκο κλείνει με χαμόγελα, ενώ ο ήλιος σβήνει αργά πίσω από τα δέντρα του Εθνικού Κήπου.
