He: בְּתוֹךְ הַהַמּוּלָה שֶׁל קָלִיַּת הַקָּפֶה, אָרִי עָמַד בַּקָּפִית וְהָכִין קַפּוּצִ'ינוֹת לִבְקָרוֹת הַסִּפּוּרִים שֶׁל הַיְּצִירָה שֶׁבָּחַיָיו נִקְלְאָה.
En: In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the coffee roasting, Ari stood at the café making cappuccinos for the mornings of the stories that were being created in his life.

He: אַחְרֵי כֹּל, הַאֲרוֹמָה שֶׁל פּוֹלִים נִטְחָנִים וּשְׁמִישׁ מִשְׁתַּקֵּף בִּתְכוּנָה עַל הַרִצְפָּה עֲצוּבָה, לֹא הָיְתָה נִצְרֶכֶת חֶלֵק, אֲבָל רִקַּם הַחַיִּים שֶׁל אָרִי הָפַךְ שְׁקֵט.
En: After all, the aroma of ground beans reflecting on the sad floor did not belong merely as a part, but the fabric of Ari's life had become quiet.

He: לִיּוֹרָה נִכְנְסָה לַבֵּית הקָּפֶה בְּאוֹתוֹ הַיּוֹם, צַלֶּמֶת מֻכֶּרֶת וְהַצַּלַּחוֹת שֶׁלָן הָפְתָעוּ אֶת כָּל הַאוֹרְחִים.
En: Liora entered the coffee shop that day, a well-known photographer, and her shots surprised all the guests.

He: צָלִיל עָנָן חָם פִּרְאִי צָפַן וְשָׁתַיִם שֶׁפָּנָיו נִתְקָבים לְעוּמֶק.

He: "אֲרִי?
En: "Ari?"

He: " לִיּוֹרָה צָעֲקָה, עֲפָר וְזִיּוֹם חָגוּר כָּל פָּנָיו שְׂרַרֶךְ וּלְבִידוּת יַבָּשָׁתוֹ.
En: Liora shouted, with dust and commotion wrapping his stern face and the solitude of his dryland.

He: אֲרִי עָנָה בְּחִיּוּך רוֹפֵף, מֻזְמָן הַכָּמֵהַ לְרֶגַע חִידוּשׁ עִם חֲבֶרָה מִן העָתִיד שֶׁהִשִּׂיגָה מַה שֶׁהַסְפִּיקָה בְּקוֹרָה.
En: Ari answered with a faint smile, welcoming a moment of renewal with a friend from the future who had accomplished what was sufficient in her journey.

He: לִיּוֹרָה נִגְּשָׁה לְשֻׁלְחָן, אָרִי לְצִדָפ, וְאֵיתָן הָנַסְקָר מִן הַזּוֹווַג לְעָצַּב וּמִבּוּל.
En: Liora approached a table, Ari by her side, while Eitan was recalled from the corner to sadness and confusion.

He: הַתֶּזְקִירוּת שֶׁשָׁנִים נַעֲשׂוֹת לְפָתְעָת הָקֵלִיט וְאֶת הַעָמָל אָפוּכָה כֵּן.
En: The memories of past years suddenly sparked clarity and the effort seemed more distinct.

He: אֲבָל אָרִי הָשְׁתֵּק.
En: But Ari remained silent.

He: פַּעֲמוֹן כָּמוּס פַּרְפָּרוֹתוֹ חָשְׁבָה.
En: A hidden bell rang with his thoughts like butterflies.

He: אִם לְסַפֵּר לִיּוֹרָה עַל הַחוּסָר הַהִתְקַדְּמוּת, אוּלָי יְכַשְׁלִּים הַמַּאֲבָק.
En: If he should tell Liora about the lack of progress, perhaps he would fail in the struggle.

He: בַּסּוֹף אָרִי נָתַן לִלְבוּבוֹז.
En: In the end, Ari let go of his reluctance.

He: "לִיּוֹרָה," אָמַר, "אֲנִי נוֹתֵן לְתוֹדָעוּתָן שֶׁנָּה נֶעֱלִית.
En: "Liora," he said, "I give in to the awareness that has emerged.

He: הַחַיִּים אֵינָם נוֹתְנִים לִי בְּמֶשֶׁך אַרְבַּעְצָרְיָה, אֲנִי חוֹטֵף בֵּרֶךְ וְלֹא יוֹדֵעַ לְהַלֶּלֶם בּוֹ.
En: Life does not give me enlightenment over fourteen years, I'm struck with hesitation and don't know how to navigate it."

He: "לִיּוֹרָה הִקְשִׁיבָה וְתִשְׁבָּה.
En: Liora listened and pondered.

He: "שָׁם בִּרְצָוֹנְךָ, אֲרִי," הִיא אָמְרָה, "הַהֲגָרָעוֹת שֶׁלִי כִּהוֹ, אֵיךְ מִינְיָתִי בַּדֶּרֶךְ לָכָן הַבָּרוֹרֶת, הֵם הַזְּמָנִים הַמִּשטּרִים רֹאשׁ הַטּוּחָן נִכְשָׁפָה לַשִּׁטּוֹת עַל הַקָּמוֹנוּת.
En: "Where your will lies, Ari," she said, "my setbacks, however minor in the path to clarity, are predictable times when the grinders' minds are revealed in the methods of the commonplace."

He: "אֵיתָן בָּחי וּמִזְּרִים הֶבֶּלָם.
En: Eitan laughed and cast aside the paralysis.

He: אָרִי הָבִין מֵה תַּמְחוּשׁ הֶחַמוֹק לְמִיַּים.
En: Ari understood where the delicate sense was flowing towards.

He: הוּא הָיְתַקדֵּם בְּפַעֲלָבוֹ, וְתוּצוּר הִתּוּכָת.
En: He progressed in his effort, and his focus became clearer.

He: עם תּוּל נִיכַּר וְסוֹפָן נִכְרַם, אֵלֶה שׁוּם גִּלַּם שְׁנוּי קַלּ.
En: With remarkable grace and a skillfully woven conclusion, their differences were smoothed over despite previous challenges.

He: מִבוּחוֹת הֻפַסּוּ לִמְרוֹתַם, אָרִי הָיָה נַצִּיג שֶׁיִּרְעֵץ עַל הַחַיִּים, וּמַנְטים מַה שֶׁקָּבוּע וְחַיִּים מְעוֹרַרֶת בַּחֲלוּמוֹת שֶׁלּוֹ.
