He: ירושלים, בוטניקה בשיאה והגן הבוטני בירושלים פורח בכל צבעי האביב.
En: Jerusalem, botany at its peak and the botanical garden in Jerusalem is blooming in all the colors of spring.

He: בעונה זו, הפרחים נפתחים במלוא תפארתם, והעצים מלאים בחיים ובעלים ירוקים, והדרכים מתפתלות בין גינות נושא שמציעות סיפורים מההיסטוריה והטבע.
En: In this season, the flowers open in all their glory, the trees are full of life and green leaves, and the paths wind between themed gardens that offer stories from history and nature.

He: באווירה כזו, יעל, המדריכה הנלהבת, הכינה את עצמה לסיור מיוחד לילדי כיתה ב׳.
En: In such an atmosphere, Yael, the enthusiastic guide, prepared herself for a special tour for second-grade children.

He: פתאום, בלי שום אזהרה, התחילו טיפות של גשם לרדת.
En: Suddenly, without any warning, raindrops started to fall.

He: יעל הייתה חייבת להיות יצירתית ומהירה.
En: Yael had to be creative and quick.

He: "ילדים!
En: "Children!

He: מי יודע מה היה יום גשום בתנ"ך?
En: Who knows about a rainy day in the Bible?"

He: " שאלה יעל בהתרגשות.
En: Yael asked excitedly.

He: כשאף אחד לא ענה, היא המשיכה, "בואו נתחבא מתחת לעץ הגדול הזה, ואני אספר לכם על יציאת מצרים ממש כמו ביער הגשם הפרטי שלנו!
En: When no one answered, she continued, "Let's hide under this big tree, and I'll tell you about the Exodus just like in our private rainforest!"

He: "היא החלה לספר בהתלהבות.
En: She began to tell the story enthusiastically.

He: "תדמיינו שאתם עברים.
En: "Imagine you are Hebrews.

He: עם גדול שהלך במדבר.
En: A great people who walked in the desert.

He: הייתה סערה כמו עכשיו, אבל לים לא היה די ברוח כדי לפתוח את מימיו!
En: There was a storm like now, but the sea didn't have enough wind to open its waters!"

En: she declared, her hands mimicking waves.

He: הפנטזיה הייתה מוחשית, הילדים דמיינו עצמם הולכים במדבר ונהרו אחריה בסקרנות.
En: The fantasy was vivid, and the children imagined themselves walking through the desert, following her eagerly.

He: מתחת לחופה של העצים, הגשם לא הפריע כלל.

He: הילדים הקשיבו לסיפור בקשב רב, השתתפו, ואף שיחקו את הדמויות מהסיפור.
