He: במדבר הגדול של הנגב, מול הנוף השקט והמדהים של חולות הרוחשים סודות עתיקים, התקיים ריטריט רוחני.
En: In the great Negev Desert, facing the quiet and stunning landscape of sands whispering ancient secrets, a spiritual retreat took place.

He: החום הצרוב של הקיץ מילא את המקום ברוגע נוחי.
En: The searing heat of the summer filled the place with a soothing calm.

He: כל זה קרה סביב חג תשעה באב - זמן של אבל וחשבון נפש ביהדות.
En: All of this happened around the holiday of "Tisha B'Av" - a time of mourning and introspection in Judaism.

He: זוהר, אומן מחפש שלווה והשראה, היה שם.
En: Zohar, an artist seeking peace and inspiration, was there.

En: She began to speak to the participants, and spoke specifically about pain - her own personal pain, about dark days and loss.

He: היא לחשה מבלי לצעוק, וקולה נטמע בין הלחשים של החול.
En: She whispered without shouting, and her voice blended with the whispers of the sand.

He: זוהר ראה אותה ונשאב לתוך סיפורה.
En: Zohar saw her and was drawn into her story.

He: הכאב שלה התערבב בשלו.
En: Her pain mingled with his.

He: זו הייתה הפגישה שאותו לא חזה, כזו שדחקה אותו לנפשו העמוקה ביותר.
En: It was an encounter he had not foreseen, one that pushed him into the deepest parts of his soul.

En: She spoke about a love lost during a war, about landscapes irrevocably changed.

He: הקבוצה כולה נותרה נטולת נשימה.
En: The entire group was left breathless.

He: זוהר זעק פנימה, ותקווה חדשה עלתה בו.
En: Zohar cried out inwardly, and a newfound hope rose within him.

En: After a few days, during a Tisha B'Av ceremony that concluded with the uplifting sound of prayer, Zohar left the desert for his familiar studio.
