He: בבוקר אביבי, בגולן הירוק והפורח, פעל בית החולים שדה כקן דבורים הומה.
En: On a spring morning, in the green, blossoming Golan, the field hospital buzzed like a busy beehive.

He: טמר רצה בין מיטות החולים, החיוניות שלה חזקה אך עייפה.
En: Tamar ran between the hospital beds, her vitality strong yet weary.

He: היא כבר כמה חודשים כאן, ועכשיו, עם חג הפסח באוויר, הרגישה את ההעומס הכבד מתקרב.
En: She had been here for several months already, and now, with Passover in the air, she felt the heavy burden approaching.

He: איתן, חייל צעיר שנפצע בשדה הקרב, שכב על אחת המיטות.
En: Eitan, a young soldier wounded on the battlefield, lay on one of the beds.

He: הוא הסתכל מסביב, רואה את חבריו מגיעים פצועים מתקרית הקרבות הסוערת.
En: He looked around, seeing his friends arriving injured from the fierce combat incident.

He: כל מה שרצה זה לקום ולעזור, אבל הגוף שלו הגביל אותו.
En: All he wanted was to get up and help, but his body limited him.

He: "טמר," הוא קרא כשהיא עברה לידו.
En: "Tamar," he called as she passed by him.

En: As time passed and the injuries multiplied, Eitan devoted himself to brief conversations with the other wounded.

En: He kept their spirits up, told small jokes, and to his surprise, the feeling of capability returned to him.

He: היא הבינה שכל מאמץ, כל חיוך, כל תחושה של אנושיות עושה הבדל.
En: She realized that every effort, every smile, every sense of humanity makes a difference.

He: איתן, שצועד לאט אך בטוח על קביים, חייך אליה בעיניים מוארות.
En: Eitan, walking slowly but surely on crutches, smiled at her with bright eyes.

He: "ראיתי שכולנו נתנו יחד," הוא אמר.
En: "I saw that we all gave together," he said.

He: "אפילו כשאנחנו לא יכולים לפעול פיזית."
En: "Even when we can’t act physically."
