Story Transcript:

He: השמש היוקדת זרחה על מקדש נסתר בין אבני המדבר של הנגב.
En: The scorching sun rose over a hidden temple among the desert stones of the Negev.

He: אבני המקדש קיבלו גוון זהב מרהיב.
En: The stones of the temple took on a magnificent golden hue.

He: היום היה חם במיוחד.
En: The day was particularly hot.

He: נועה עמדה בהמון חברי הכיתה, אבל בהרגשה לבד, עטופה במחשבותיה.
En: Noa stood among the throng of her classmates, yet felt alone, wrapped in her thoughts.

He: הסיבה לטיול השנתי הייתה שיעור היסטוריה על תקופת בית שני.
En: The reason for the annual trip was a history lesson about the Second Temple period.

He: נועה, שבדרך כלל אהבה ללמוד על עבר העבריות, הרגישה הפעם אחרת.

En: The signs were old, full of forgotten wisdom.

En: An awakening of understanding arose within her.

He: החששות של נועה על העתיד התפוגגו לרגע, והתחושה של חיבור עמוק עם שורשיה עטפה אותה.
En: Noa's worries about the future dissipated for a moment, and a feeling of deep connection with her roots enveloped her.

En: After a short time, Noa returned to the rest of the class with a glow in her eyes and told Dalia and Ari about what she had discovered.
