Cs: Na Karlově mostě je v létě živo.
En: In the summer, it is lively on Karlův most.

Cs: Turisté prochází, obdivují krásu historické Prahy, zatímco pouliční umělci vystavují svá díla.
En: Tourists pass by, admiring the beauty of historic Praha, while street artists display their works.

Cs: Slunce klesá za obzorem a obloha je zalitá teplým oranžovým světlem.
En: The sun sets behind the horizon, and the sky is bathed in warm orange light.

Cs: Mezi všemi těmito lidmi stojí Lukáš a Petra.
En: Among all these people stand Lukáš and Petra.

Cs: Lukáš je mladý muž, který se rád věnuje kreslení.
En: Lukáš is a young man who enjoys drawing.

Cs: Je ale plachý a často se bojí ukázat své umění ostatním.
En: However, he is shy and often fears showing his art to others.

Cs: Lukáš si všiml Petřina zápalu.

Cs: Cítil nutkání ji oslovit, ale jeho plachost ho brzdila.

Cs: Přemítal: "Co když se jí moje kresby nebudou líbit?

Cs: "Po několika okamžicích boje se svými myšlenkami se Lukáš rozhodl, že riskne a ukáže Petře jeho skicu.
En: After a few moments of battling with his thoughts, Lukáš decided to take a chance and show Petra his sketch.

Cs: „Dobrý den,“ oslovil ji nesměle, „mohl bych se podívat, jak kreslíte?
En: "Hello," he addressed her timidly, "could I see how you draw?"

Cs: “Petra se usmála a otočila se k Lukášovi.
En: Petra smiled and turned to Lukáš.

Cs: „Samozřejmě, pojď se podívat.
En: "Of course, come take a look.

Cs: A ty také kreslíš?
En: And do you draw as well?"

Cs: “Lukáš pomalu vytahoval svůj skicák a podal ho Petře.
En: Lukáš slowly pulled out his sketchbook and handed it to Petra.

Cs: S nervozitou sledoval její reakci.
En: He watched her reaction with nervousness.

Cs: Petra otevřela skicák a prohlížela si jeho práce.
En: Petra opened the sketchbook and examined his work.

Cs: „Wow, máš skvělý styl.
En: "Wow, you have a great style.

Cs: Líbí se mi, jak pracuješ se světlem.
En: I like how you work with light."

Cs: “Lukášova tvář se rozzářila.
En: Lukáš's face lit up.

Cs: „Děkuji,“ odpověděl.
En: "Thank you," he replied.

Cs: „Vždycky jsem obdivoval, jak se dá tolik zachytit pár čarami.
En: "I've always admired how much can be captured with just a few lines."

Cs: “Oba umělci se poté ponořili do rozhovoru o umění a skicování.
En: The two artists then delved into a conversation about art and sketching.
