Cs: Léto v Praze.
En: Summer in Praha.

Cs: Slunce svítí nad městem jako zlatý kotouč.
En: The sun shines over the city like a golden disk.

Cs: Jana, zvědavá turistka z Brna, přijela obdivovat architekturu Prahy.
En: Jana, a curious tourist from Brno, came to admire the architecture of Praha.

Cs: Byla fascinovaná gotickými věžičkami a krásnými vitrážemi Chrámu svatého Víta.
En: She was fascinated by the Gothic spires and beautiful stained glass windows of Chrám svatého Víta.

Cs: Těšila se na průvodce, který jí měl ukázat historické skvosty kostela.
En: She was looking forward to the guide who was supposed to show her the historical treasures of the church.

Cs: Spolu s ní tam byli Petr a Ludmila, další turisté, kterých si Jana všimla.
