Cs: Petřínský vrch zářil v letním odpoledním slunci.
En: Petřínský vrch glowed in the summer afternoon sun.

Cs: Z trávy se linula vůně čerstvého sena a v dálce se zvedala panorama Prahy.
En: The scent of fresh hay wafted from the grass, and in the distance rose the panorama of Praha.

Cs: Ludmila, mladá umělkyně, se dívala dolů na svou sestavu pláten a barev.
En: Ludmila, a young artist, looked down at her set of canvases and paints.

Cs: Vedle ní její bratr Václav a maminka Alena rozbalovali piknikový košík.
