Sk: V Bratislave sa pomaly rozliehala jar.
En: Spring was slowly spreading across Bratislava.

Sk: Teplé lúče slnka prenikali cez okno bytu, kde Juraj sedel pred laptopom.
En: The warm rays of the sun penetrated through the window of the apartment where Juraj sat in front of his laptop.

Sk: Jeho izba bola útulná, ale tiež mierne neporiadna.
En: His room was cozy but also slightly messy.

Sk: Na stole sa povaľovali rôzne technické zariadenia, ktorým vôbec nerozumel.
En: Various technical devices he didn't understand at all were scattered on the table.

Sk: Jurajovi sa potili dlane.
En: Juraj's palms were sweaty.

Sk: Dnes bol ten deň, keď plánoval video-hovor s Martou.
En: Today was the day he planned a video call with Marta.

Sk: Bol trochu nervózny; technológia mu vždy robila problém.
En: He was a little nervous; technology always gave him trouble.

Sk: Marta bola v Prahe.
En: Marta was in Prague.

Sk: Jej byt bol moderný a farebný.
En: Her apartment was modern and colorful.

Sk: Marta práve pracovala na svojom počítači, keď zazvonilo Skype zvonenie.

Sk: Usmiala sa, keď videla Jurajovo meno.
En: She smiled when she saw Juraj's name.

Sk: Juraj sa snažil pripojiť, ale zvuk sa neustále prerušoval.
En: Juraj tried to connect, but the sound was constantly interrupting.

Sk: Ivan, Jurajov spolubývajúci, pil kávu a vletel do izby.
En: Ivan, Juraj's roommate, was drinking coffee and burst into the room.

Sk: "Počkaj, pomôžem ti, Juraj!" zvolal.
En: "Wait, I'll help you, Juraj!" he exclaimed.

Sk: Juraj sa snažil odolať Ivanovej pomoci, no ten už klikal na tlačidlá.
En: Juraj tried to resist Ivan's help, but he was already clicking buttons.

Sk: Obrazovka zamrzla.
En: The screen froze.

Sk: Keď sa konečne pripojili, Martino video šlo bezchybne.
En: When they finally connected, Marta's video worked flawlessly.

Sk: Jurajov však bol čiernobiely a so slabým zvukom.
En: Juraj's, however, was black and white and had weak sound.

Sk: "Počúvaš ma, Juraj?" pýtala sa Marta.
En: "Can you hear me, Juraj?" asked Marta.

Sk: Juraj kýval hlavou, sklamaný.
En: Juraj nodded, disappointed.

Sk: "Je to v poriadku. Vidím ťa a počujem," hovorila Marta povzbudzujúco.
En: "It's okay. I can see and hear you," Marta said encouragingly.

Sk: Z ničoho nič sa objavil Ivan a podal Jurajovi kus techniky.
En: Out of nowhere, Ivan appeared and handed Juraj a piece of technology.

Sk: "Skús to, toto ti určite pomôže!" zasiahla Ivanova snaha.
En: "Try this, it'll definitely help you!" Ivan's efforts intervened.

Sk: Juraj si povzdychol, ale prijal pomoc.
En: Juraj sighed but accepted the help.

Sk: Znovu sa pokúsili spojenie opraviť.
En: They tried to fix the connection again.

Sk: Po chvíli sa situácia zlepšila.
En: After a while, the situation improved.

Sk: Juraj začal hovoriť: "Marta, chcel by som ti povedať, že aj keď je medzi nami táto vzdialenosť..."
En: Juraj began to speak: "Marta, I wanted to tell you that even though there is this distance between us..."

Sk: V tom momente ho prekvapila ďalšia chyba.
En: At that moment, he was surprised by another glitch.

Sk: Juraj sa náhle na obrazovke premenil na zemiak.
En: Juraj suddenly turned into a potato on the screen.

Sk: Marta sa začala smiať.
En: Marta started laughing.

Sk: Juraj bol zo začiatku zaskočený, no potom sa i on pridal do Martinho smiechu.
En: Juraj was initially taken aback, but then he joined in Marta's laughter too.

Sk: „Nielenže som v Bratislave, teraz som aj zemiak!“ povedal s humorom.
En: "Not only am I in Bratislava, now I'm a potato too!" he said humorously.

Sk: Keď sa ich smiech upokojil, video-hovor pokračoval.
En: When their laughter subsided, the video call continued.

Sk: Navzdory technickým ťažkostiam sa spolu zabavili a rozprávali až do neskorého večera.
En: Despite the technical difficulties, they had fun and talked until late in the evening.

Sk: Na konci rozhovoru Juraj pochopil, že ich vzťah je oveľa silnejší než akákoľvek technická závada.
En: At the end of the conversation, Juraj understood that their relationship was much stronger than any technical glitch.

Sk: A to, že dokážu nájsť spoločnú radosť a smiech v akýchkoľvek situáciách, je znakom, že zvládnu aj veľkú diaľku medzi nimi.
En: The fact that they could find mutual joy and laughter in any situation was a sign that they could overcome the great distance between them.

Sk: Keď sa lúčili, Juraj už nebol taký neistý.
En: When they said their goodbyes, Juraj was no longer so uncertain.

Sk: Vedel, že sa dokážu spolu smiať všetkým nepríjemnostiam.
En: He knew they could laugh together through all the unpleasantness.

Sk: A to bol základ, na ktorom sa dalo stavať.
En: And that was a foundation on which they could build.
