Sk: Jozef stál pred hradom Spiš, ktorý sa majestátne týčil na kopci.
En: Jozef stood in front of Spiš Castle, which majestically rose on the hill.

Sk: Letné slnko zohrievalo staré kamene hradu a panoramatický výhľad na zelenú slovenskú krajinu pod ním mu dodával pocit pokoja.
En: The summer sun warmed the old stones of the castle, and the panoramic view of the green Slovak landscape below gave him a sense of peace.

Sk: Snažil sa usmievať, aj keď jeho vnútro bolo plné obáv a pocitov viny.
En: He tried to smile, even though his insides were filled with worries and feelings of guilt.

Sk: Po nedávnej rozluke s manželkou chcel svoje deti Ivanu a Mareka uistiť, že všetko bude v poriadku.
En: After the recent separation from his wife, he wanted to assure his children, Ivana and Marek, that everything would be alright.

Sk: „Pozrite, deti,“ povedal Jozef trochu silene, ale s nádejou v hlase, „toto je jeden z najväčších hradov v strednej Európe.

Sk: “Ivana a Marek, s očami plnými zvedavosti, vzrušene nasledovali Jozefa do hradu.
En: Ivana and Marek, with eyes full of curiosity, excitedly followed Jozef into the castle.

Sk: Kým prechádzali starobylými sálami, Jozef rozprával príbehy o rytieroch a princeznách, dúfajúc, že im to prinesie radosť.
En: As they walked through the ancient halls, Jozef told stories about knights and princesses, hoping it would bring them joy.

Sk: V jednej z miestností Marek objavil stredoveké zbrane a zo záujmom sledoval, ako mu otec vysvetľuje, na čo každý z nástrojov slúžil.

Sk: “Keď vystúpili na najvyššiu vežu hradu, vietor priniesol vôňu letných kvetov z poľa pod nimi.
En: When they climbed to the highest tower of the castle, the wind brought the scent of summer flowers from the field below.

Sk: „Pozrite tam,“ povedal Jozef, ukazujúc na lichotivú krajinu.
En: "Look over there," Jozef said, pointing to the charming landscape.
