Story Transcript:

Sl: Matej je stal ob svojem pisalniku, obdan s kupa papirjev.
En: Matej stood by his desk, surrounded by piles of papers.

Sl: Z muko je pregledoval številke.
En: With difficulty, he reviewed the numbers.

Sl: Njegove misli so bile ujeti v neskončnem vrtincu dela.
En: His thoughts were caught in an endless vortex of work.

Sl: Neža, svetla in brezskrbna prijateljica, je opazila njegov utrujen obraz.
En: Neža, his bright and carefree friend, noticed his tired face.

Sl: Zaskrbljeno ga je pogledala.
En: She looked at him with concern.

Sl: "Matej," je rekla Neža, "moraš ven, na zrak.
En: "Matej," said Neža, "you need to go outside, get some air.

Sl: Pojdiva na izlet.
En: Let's go on a trip.

Sl: K Bledskemu jezeru.
En: To Lake Bled."

Sl: "Matej je zavzdihnil.
En: Matej sighed.

Sl: "Ne morem, preveč imam dela.

Sl: Neža je načrtovala dan in Matej se ji je prepustil.

Sl: Ko sta prispela, ju je pozdravil pogled na smaragdno zeleno vodo, obkroženo s čudovitimi gozdovi.
En: When they arrived, they were greeted by the sight of emerald green water, surrounded by beautiful forests.

Sl: Otok sredi jezera je deloval kot iz pravljice.
En: The island in the middle of the lake looked like something out of a fairy tale.

Sl: Sprehodila sta se ob jezeru, čutila svež zrak, poslušala petje ptic.
En: They walked around the lake, felt the fresh air, listened to the birds singing.

Sl: Matej je na začetku še nekako tiho razmišljal o delu.
En: Matej was initially still somewhat quietly thinking about work.

Sl: Ko pa ga je Neža opozorila na grad Bled, ponosno nastanjen na pečini, je bil trenutek veličasten.
En: But when Neža pointed out Bled Castle, proudly perched on the cliff, the moment was magnificent.

Sl: "Poglej, kako lepo!
En: "Look, how beautiful!"

Sl: "Matej je dvignil pogled.
En: Matej looked up.

Sl: Sončni žarki so obsijali grad, svetloba se je odbijala od jezera.
En: The sun's rays illuminated the castle, the light reflecting off the lake.

Sl: V tistem trenutku je Mateju postalo jasno.
En: In that moment, Matej realized.

Sl: Ves čas je gledal statistike, ko mu je lepota Bleda ostajala skrita.
