Sl: Ljubljana je bila v poletnem času živahna in polna energije.
En: Ljubljana was lively and full of energy during the summer.

Sl: Danes je bil prav poseben dan - dan volitev.
En: Today was a very special day - election day.

Sl: Pred voliščem so se zbirale množice, ljudje so se smejali in razpravljali o prihajajoči prihodnosti.
En: Crowds gathered in front of the polling station, people laughed and discussed the upcoming future.

Sl: Maja je stopila skozi vrata volišča, z njo je bila nevidna energija znane prestolnice, katera se je prenesla na vse udeležence dogodka.
En: Maja stepped through the door of the polling place, carrying the invisible energy of the well-known capital, which spread to all the event participants.

Sl: Plakati s kandidatkami in kandidati so krasili stene, mešali so se zvoki govorjenja in korakov, ki so polnili dvorano.

Sl: Počutila se je rahlo nerodno, a odločena je bila, da sama odpre vrata.
En: She felt slightly awkward but was determined to open the door herself.

Sl: Maja je poskušala pomikati ročico gor in dol, vendar brez uspeha.
En: Maja tried moving the handle up and down, but to no avail.

Sl: Postalo ji je neprijetno.
En: She began to feel uneasy.

Sl: ""Da, prosim," je Maja odgovorila, naslonjena na rob kabine.
En: "Yes, please," Maja replied, leaning against the side of the booth.

Sl: Medtem je Gregor, drugi volivec, opazoval situacijo s kotičkom ust.
En: Meanwhile, Gregor, another voter, watched the situation from the corner of his eyes.

Sl: Njegov stari humor je sprožil val smeha, ki je napolnil prostor.
En: His old-fashioned humor sparked a wave of laughter that filled the room.

Sl: "S tem lahko zaslužimo, Maja!
En: "We could make a profit from this, Maja!"

Sl: " je z nasmehom pripomnil Gregor.
En: Gregor commented with a smile.

Sl: Po nekaj nervoznih trenutkih in previdnih gibih kartice je Andreju uspelo!

Sl: Vrata so se počasi odprla.

Sl: Aplavz prisotnih je napolnil prostor, Maja pa je rahlo pordela, a tudi nasmejana.
En: Applause from those present filled the room, and Maja blushed slightly, but was also smiling.

Sl: Njena zadrega se je spremenila v priložnost za smeh.
En: Her embarrassment turned into an opportunity for laughter.

Sl: Po oddaji glasovnice se je Maja zahvalila Andreju in Gregorju.
En: After casting her vote, Maja thanked Andrej and Gregor.

Sl: Z nasmehom je zapustila volišče.
