Manny Mua
I'm like, another slay outfit. Yep. He regrets that one.
Cecily
I don't regret that one.
Manny Mua
He regrets that one.
Cecily
I don't regret.
Manny Mua
He regrets that one. Welcome to your favorite podcast. It's full coverage with your host, Manny Mua.
Cecily
Oh, and Laura Lee.
Manny Mua
We're announcing each other today.
Cecily
Well, Tyler also threw this at me.
Manny Mua
When I was living throwing markers. He's throwing things for our listeners. I might want a visualization of mannequin hit.
Cecily
You guys, he just pegged me, literally.
Manny Mua
You guys, look at this. We may have retired the yellow sticky notes.
Cecily
They did their job.
Manny Mua
They did.
Cecily
And they were loving.
Manny Mua
And they were good to us.
Cecily
And they were good to us. The sticky notes. Like, they. They got what needed to be gotten.
Manny Mua
And now we have whiteboards that have whiteboards. All of our notes.
Cecily
Oh, shit.
Manny Mua
I know your audience does not like when we level stuff up, though. Like, the more, like, sitting at home in our PJs with no makeup, the more they like it.
Cecily
No, get this. I saw calm. That was like, I really want you guys to sit at home in pajamas and record an episode.
Manny Mua
I'm like, another slay outfit.
Cecily
I was like, are we really want you to be just casual and.
Manny Mua
We will. We will.
Cecily
For the. Maybe for winter.
Manny Mua
Yeah, for winter coming up.
Cecily
We can actually do that. That'll be chill.
Manny Mua
We will do that for you guys.
Cecily
But we got these, like, for the listeners, we got these, like, cute little, like, whiteboards that have full coverage on it. And then we get, like, right on the back with, like, white markers and just, like, what it is and erase them every time. I just think they look so professional.
Manny Mua
Very profess.
Cecily
But, like, I hope you guys like them.
Manny Mua
I'm going to be able to look at our topics while unraveling a sticky note. Every time the sticky note, no one sees me, and I'm, like, digging in my pocket for the sticky note.
Cecily
No, the best part is literally Laura be like, I lost a sticky note. And I'm like lord, no, we need sticky.
Manny Mua
How many weeks did I lose this?
Cecily
You guys literally would be in a jacket from like a different, from a different day. Just like this.
Manny Mua
There's one on the ground over here.
Cecily
There's anyone right there on the ground by the cables.
Manny Mua
I would always lose the sticky.
Cecily
So this is great. But before we even start because of bits, let's talk about our Black Friday deals that we have going on. Honey, it is literally Black Friday today actually for you guys watching. And we got deals going on with Luna and Ms. LA.
Manny Mua
What you got going on?
Cecily
So how we did it this year we did like a little tier system with our like deals where it's like you spent, the more you spend, the more you save. So that's kind of how we have it going on. It's not like a specific like this one product on sale for example. If you just buy anything, you're going to be able to get like a percentage off.
Manny Mua
But the more you spend, the more.
Cecily
You say like let's say you spend 50 bucks you get 15% off. So 100 bucks you get 30% off. So it's like the more you spend, the more you're saving.
Manny Mua
That's deep.
Cecily
So that's kind of like our, our deal. Then you get like a free little gift with purchase.
Manny Mua
Oh nice.
Cecily
A little sponge little.
Manny Mua
That's really nice. Check out Lunar Beauty dot com.
Cecily
Yeah, check it out, check it out.
Manny Mua
We'll have it linked in the description box.
Cecily
Both of ours.
Manny Mua
And then both my websites will also have Black Friday sales. We're doing 40% off on minim LA. So if you guys wanted to try the Body Glow, our bath products, we are closing out clothing on minimla. So just clear us out babes. Just take anything you want, take it all. We have the joy, everything 40% off. So like take advantage of that super good sale. And then on Laur Lee Los Angeles is a better deal. So we have, okay, we have like a double discount going because we have stuff on sale just like mark down on sale for Black Friday. But then we have the tiered system going on top of that. So it's like a double dip. So if you've ever want to try anything on Laura Los Angeles, totally. Now's your chance. I see you guys over there already getting Christmas gifts cuz I see the quantities because I was asking my team, I was like hey guys, be careful when packing orders because I'm noticing when people are ordering, they're ordering like two and three of things of the same product. Three blush palettes, three eyeshadows for like, the same give gifts. And so, yeah, they were like, you know what? They're doing that, right? And I was like, why? They're like, they're buying Christmas gifts.
Cecily
Yeah, I thought the same thing. Because I also saw the same thing this morning when I saw like four lip oils into one thing. And I was like, why they get four of the same shade? I'm like, they're gifts.
Manny Mua
Gifts. They're geniuses.
Cecily
This is the time to do it, dude.
Manny Mua
It is stock up. This is the best sell of the year for both of our brands.
Cecily
I never do it this deep.
Manny Mua
Yep. This is the deepest discount you're gonna get, period. So be sure to stock up. Check out minimla.com co and then Laura Lee los angeles.com and lunar beau.com. we'll have everything linked. Everything is there.
Cecily
It's stocked up. This is the time to do it. Also, can we talk about the fact that we were. We did super lives last week.
Manny Mua
We did. Me and Mandy both did super lives.
Cecily
We did four hour lives, like with Tick Tock, like, supporting us, working with us. They produced it.
Manny Mua
Yeah. So whenever you guys see us go on these lives with like, these professional, like, Canon cameras and it looks like a movie set, it's. Or like a QVC set, I should say.
Cecily
Yeah.
Manny Mua
It's because Tick Tock has invited us to produce one of our lives for us. And it's a special opportunity because they kind of, in a way, QVC your product. Like, there's like a million people in the room and they're running it on the back end and they're reading analytical data and they're, they're, they're choosing the cells that's coming next. Like it's a big deal.
Cecily
No, Yeah, I mean, they. And they. You prep for this, like, for months in advance, by the way. Like, you don't just do it, like, you literally for a month of like, what you're gonna do on the live, what's going to be discounted, what the sales are going to go on, like, all the things that are happening. It's actually so much more intense than you, like, think it is. And you would not know unless you did it. Because I didn't, like, when I was doing it, there was what, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, like seven people in the room, like, doing back end stuff. And I'm like, yeah, all this.
Manny Mua
Yep.
Cecily
It's kind of wild. But the fact we both did one, I'm like, so thank you to everyone that joined our lives by the way and supported us both.
Manny Mua
Thank you guys so much for that. Like, seriously, like, oh my God. Like, I just can't thank each of you enough. Truly. There's a lot of full fam in the house.
Cecily
Same.
Manny Mua
And like, it's tough to go on there and do this, but it really helps your business grow. It helps people get your product in their hands. It's a huge marketing thing that we don't have to pay for as a small businesses. Tick Tock's literally taking mine and Manny's tiny businesses and putting them big out there into the world, getting thousands and thousands of eyes on them. We're moving product like it's just a beautiful thing for a business. And you guys show up and people.
Cecily
Are getting like huge discounts for it. It's like, it really feels like a win win because you're supporting a small business, but then you're also getting something in return at a price that's way more discounted than the usual price would be because TikTok allows more discounts kind of going through because they help kind of pay for it too. So it's like you really get like the best of all the world's doing it. And that's why a lot of people, if you see are doing these like super lives and it's kind of like just like the new wave of thing. People are doing it. We're just kind of like more recently on it.
Manny Mua
So I talked to TikTok and I was like, you know, the super lives are like all that people are doing in China, the uk, it's the biggest thing ever over there. I said, why are you guys so late in the US with this? Cuz right now they're like trying to roll out and do what they did in the other countries for the U.S. and I was like, you know, the U.S. is one of your biggest markets. Why are you guys so late rolling out the lives? And they said that during the debacle of them going to delete Tik Tok. Yes. All that. Back them up. Because they said that at that time they're supposed to be working on rolling out this program back then, but they couldn't because it just became such a mess going away. So they. Yeah, exactly. They had to figure that out first and said it put us, the US way behind on the live thing. So now they're just now getting around to, you know. Yep. Bringing that into the U.S. how crazy.
Cecily
That's so crazy. And like, even, like. And even still, people have no idea what's gonna happen with Tik Tok even now.
Manny Mua
I actually talked to them and they were like, we're good. Yeah. Yeah. They were like, don't. Don't even worry about it.
Cecily
Like, we're chilling and even if things were to happen, it would be years down the line.
Manny Mua
Exactly. So they were like, babes, don't even.
Cecily
Worry about it, babe. You're chilling.
Manny Mua
We're chilling.
Cecily
Okay, good. That makes you happy. But we just want to say we appreciate it.
Manny Mua
Oh, yes. And thank you for all the likes and shares.
Cecily
Like, it was so cool.
Manny Mua
Everything. It's just so much that goes into it for you guys too. So I appreciate you guys.
Cecily
Thank you for being there with, like, soaring out your thumbs for us, like, literally the most. We, me, we both got the most likes we've ever gotten on the live before ever. So it was like. It was truly, like, a wonderful thing to be part of and see. So we thank you guys so much for being part of it and the full fam. We saw a lot of full fam comments in there.
Manny Mua
Oh, yeah, a ton. Full fam showed up. I was really like, I know.
Cecily
It was so cute. I felt so like you guys are IP food.
Manny Mua
They are. I love our family.
Cecily
Okay, so now let's go into peaks and pits because we're doing a rapid fire today, by the way.
Manny Mua
That's why we have this.
Cecily
That's why we have this back here, because we have our toppies in the back of it. So you're gonna see. We are going to be doing rapid fire today. But first, of course, we do picks and pets.
Manny Mua
I'm. Yeah, let's jump in. So what should I. You start. I have my written down in my phone.
Cecily
Okay. I'm gonna. I'll do peak to start. I went on a date yesterday.
Manny Mua
Not me. Already knowing.
Cecily
You already knowing. You're, like, the reaction to already knowing.
Manny Mua
I had a clock myself because I was like, you're doing too much. You already knew, Laura. You already knew.
Cecily
So I went on a date yesterday. I actually went on a. A brunch day, which I've never been on a brunch day. I've never been on a date. Like, really in the daytime, if that makes sense. Like, usually to me, like, dates are like, at nighttime. That gets spooky. Like, outside in the day, everything you see, every pore. I'm more every poor. I'm like, more of a creature of the night where I'm like, oh, my God. Like, let's do a little dinner. And it's funny. So this guy, I actually have matched with him on every dating app possible, and somehow we just, like, stop talking on, like, the app. We just stopped talking. One of us will stop responding. Whatever may be we. This last week, we matched on another app, and I was like, look who the it is. And then he was like, we should, like, do something, or I said, I was like, we should do something soon. Why don't we do something over the weekend? He's like, yeah, when we do, like, a little lunch date. And I'm like, let's do it. So I ended up meeting up with him. You guys, Honestly, like, going on first dates is kind of tough. I'm gonna be real.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
If you guys are, like, single out there. No, it's not that I get nervous. It's just that I get, like. I kind of, like, go on a little bit where I'm thinking, like, okay, I want to keep the conversation flowing. So I'm constantly thinking of, like, the next thing I could possibly ask. Dry and awkward. So it's like, I'm thinking, like, okay, I don't like when there's a lot of, like, blank space, especially on a date.
Manny Mua
Like, I don't know them.
Cecily
I don't know them. Like, how am I? Like, if I'm, like, eating with y'all, there's blank space. I'm like, whatever. You know what I mean? Like, I insist.
Manny Mua
Not that there ever would be a second of air to suck in.
Cecily
There's no air. But, like, with someone that you don't know, it's much more uncomfortable. So I'm constantly thinking. I was like, what can I ask him about his, like, childhood? Trust him about, like, how is this coming out? Like, you start to think about, like, these things, like, what am I gonna ask?
Manny Mua
Right?
Cecily
Are you gonna be funny? So then ended up going well, and everything was great, and we end up making out after.
Manny Mua
Ah, I saw the guy. He's really hot.
Cecily
He's cute, right? I should. I showed Laura right now, so it was good. And so I think after this week, he was like, let's do something next week when you're back from San Diego from Thanksgiving. So I'm like, okay, cool, let's do it. Like, I'm so down. I accidentally erased some of my things.
Manny Mua
All right. The board's flopped five minutes. I'm like, all right.
Cecily
The top section. I'm like.
Manny Mua
The whole top section is like.
Cecily
I'm like, damn, what were we saying?
Manny Mua
About Mr. Beast.
Cecily
So yes, that was, that's, that's my peak that it went well even though it was like, okay, I have to get back into the flow because when you're, when you haven't gone on a single or a first date in a while, you almost forget like the cadence of dates. Yeah, we're kind of like, how do we flow again?
Manny Mua
What do I say?
Cecily
What do I ask you? So it was ended up being good.
Manny Mua
I love it.
Cecily
So I will be reporting back.
Manny Mua
If it continues to go well, do okay.
Cecily

Eduardo My peek is there's this new TV show on HBO and Aaron's in town. No. But yes. Also that's really good. But Aaron's in town right now for Thanksgiving. She comes for a week to hang out with me. She was on my live with me, which I leave. But she's in town, which by the way, guys, she's gonna be on the neck.
Cecily
Oh yeah. Like next week. She's being. She's our guest.
Manny Mua
So tune in because we get some air enough in this house. But. Oh my God, my jeans are turning my hands blue. That means they're gonna turn the chair. No, because I'm sitting. Not my nice boot.
Cecily
Wait, what?
Manny Mua
Oh, they're gonna turn my boots blue.
Cecily
No, the boots will be okay because like, it's on the inside. It's the outer. It's the outer.
Manny Mua
My hand.
Cecily
Look at the inside is not the same color. It's not. It's not dyed on the inside.
Manny Mua
This is terrible. Okay. Anyways, my jeans just stained my hands dark blue.
Cecily
Your pet.
Manny Mua
Let's get right to this.
Cecily
Let's get right to the bed.
Manny Mua
So they have this TV show, it's new on hbo. It's called Florida Man. It is the funniest show ever. But I grew up in Alabama, which there's a lot of, like, it's the same. Although there's a lot like diversity in different parts in Florida. Whereas there are not in Alabama. But like that core Floridianness, it runs through Alabama as well. Because if those who don't know geography of the United States, Alabama sits on top of Florida. So we have the same, like, same weather.
Cecily
I didn't know that, by the way.
Manny Mua
Yeah, I feel like I didn't know.
Cecily
That until we were friends.
Manny Mua
Yeah, we sit right on top of Florida. Florida runs underneath us. So we're kind of fused there a little bit. We have the same. We get hurricanes. Flor, Bama, Florabama is a place because the states connect. So same. So me watching this show, I'm just naturally like, oh my God, these are my people. Like, I. I love this. And it is the. So basically, Florida is known for their click crazy police reports. Like they're known for it.
Cecily
I didn't know that.
Manny Mua
Yes. Like their headlines are nothing. Because it'll be like Florida, man. And it always starts with Florida man. Yeah, Florid man beats gator with. You know, it's always some crazy Florida man breaks up arrested for killing his chicken. Like it's crazy. And so basically they take a story and they interview. Like a documentary on each episode. It's different. They interview a person and they're crazy ass story. But they have Famous actors act out what's happening as the people are telling the story, like, is in it. Like, a lot of. Yes, Like, a lot of famous comedians are in it. So it's very interesting. It's the funniest show. But it's crazy because every story they tell in there is real. It really happened. Like, for instance, there was two gay guys, but they're Florida men. Very Florida man.
Cecily
I'm scared.
Manny Mua
And they lived together in a trailer, and one of them had met a third party guy. He was also a gay guy, and he was a drag crank queen. But the main guy who owns each other didn't like that. He's like, let a damn cross dresser in my trailer when he's gay himself. But that's. So that's.
Cecily
Yeah.
Manny Mua
So anyways, they end up getting a big fight, and they keep sabotaging each other. And it just gets to the point where the. Not the one that owns the trailer, the one that brings in the drag queen. He goes. They break up. While this man is. I think he is a garbage man. Like, does the dumpster.
Cecily
Oh, yeah.
Manny Mua
So while he's at work, the guy that gets broken up with who doesn't live in the trailer, him and the drag queen go to rob the trailer. They steal the air conditioner, like a vacuum cleaner, and then it can take. And he has not bolted down, so they take it. But then to get his revenge, because they keep on sabotaging each other, he's like, I'm gonna burn the place down, so shut up. Girl crazy.
Cecily
But this. So this actually happened.
Manny Mua
They're reenacting the whole thing. So to burn the place down, he puts a pot of bowling grease and a pot of ragu sauce, and he puts a rag in the grease and dips the rag into the sauce. And he thinks that if the grease gets hot enough, it will absorb into the rag, get into the ragu spaghetti sauce and blow up the trailer.
Cecily
That's what he thinks.
Manny Mua
That's what he thinks. So he does that, and he leaves. And as they're driving off, he's like, oh, I left my cigarettes in there. I left my pack of cigarettes in there. We got to go back. I got to go get them. They're gonna know it's me whenever. It doesn't make sense because the guy has, like, a little ring camera inside his trailer. And the guy that's breaking in, his ex boyfriend sees the ring camera and starts twerking in front of it. Literally footage of all this. It's insane. So it's like Baby, they're already gonna know it's you.
Cecily
Like, of course they know.
Manny Mua
So he sees him on the ring while he's at work. He gets a notification, there's movement in my trailer. He calls the police. He's like, he's breaking in, stealing my. Police show up, and by the time they pull up to get the cigarettes, the police are like, are you kidding right now?
Cecily
Ragu.
Manny Mua
Y'all came back. So turns out that was like a pretty big crime what he did there. Yes. And so he pressed charges. Ex boyfriend who owned the trailer press charges. They go to court and he finds out he's like, gonna get 15 years for it.
Cecily
Oh, my God.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
That's huge.
Manny Mua
I know. So he felt really bad and he was like, drop all the charges.
Cecily
Drop all the charges for 15 years.
Manny Mua
Yeah. Cuz he just feels too bad. And the judge is like, this is the crate. What in the is going on? Yes. She's literally. Are y'all crazy? So the. Cut to the story now. It's the sweetest thing in the world. They're still together. And he lives in a tent on the outside of his trailer. And they're just sitting down, eating dinner together, laughing, loving each other.
Cecily
What about the drag queen?
Manny Mua
Drag queen's out of the picture.
Cecily
She's gone.
Manny Mua
Yep, she's gone. The drag queen was just a man with a shake and go on, by the way. It wasn't even like.
Cecily
Like a real.
Manny Mua
Like a queen. It wasn't. It was a shake and go, but so funny.
Cecily
I thought that it turned into that.
Manny Mua
Yes.
Cecily
It started off with. They're, wow, literally feral animals.
Manny Mua
Florida man.
Cecily
To turn into like, we're in a tent.
Manny Mua
There is the craziest stories on the show. You have to watch it. You have to watch it. I'm telling, you know, the people who dress up as mermaids for a living.
Cecily
And like, I watched the documentary about it on Netflix.
Manny Mua
Okay, so there's one story where. There's one with those. There's one where a man get arm gets bitten off by a gator and he lives like five days in the wild missing his arm. Like there's. So there's like five episodes out. You gotta watch all five episodes, 20 minutes each.
Cecily
Oh, they're like.
Manny Mua
And you morsels will laugh your ass off that.
Cecily
But I feel like those kind of shows, like, that's my kind of dumb humor. Yeah, I love some like, funny like that. Like, that is like right up my alley. Florida, man.
Manny Mua
Florida man.
Cecily
I swear, HBO Max just has the tea.
Manny Mua
Like they do it's a very unique show. I've never seen them do a show like this before. It's just.
Cecily
And you know, doing shows that are like, not done before is like a dime a dozen in this town.
Manny Mua
Yes.
Cecily
Because that don't happen no more. Everything's already done.
Manny Mua
Yeah, everything's done.
Cecily
I love that.
Manny Mua
It's a very unique show. You should watch it. But you guys check out Florida, man. If you want a little laugh. I will say the Wide Neck episode, it, like, literally touched my heart.
Cecily
Wide neck?
Manny Mua
Yeah, wide neck.
Cecily
Why?
Manny Mua
You remember the guy who went to jail and his. His picture went viral? The. What do you call it? The mug shot went viral because it looks like his head is like. Yeah. Fused into the body. No neck. Kind of. Because the neck's so wide. And it just went crazy. Crazy survival. And he took this man had a record of 22 police chases. God, no. How are you out?
Cecily
How.
Manny Mua
How could he turn you out after 22 different police. 22 instances? You were in a car chase and he's out.
Cecily
That makes no sense, baby.
Manny Mua
I'm like, do you.
Cecily
What is with the system?
Manny Mua
Do you get a slap on the wrist for police chase? Because I would have been out running on if I knew that. Huh.
Cecily
At this point, I would have. You know, my inspiration is expired.
Manny Mua
I would have never stopped. CU22. And he's chilling, but he came from a very rough background. And I. I think some people just don't get a fair chance at life.
Cecily
100. Especially when you start off like that. Like, what are you supposed to do?
Manny Mua
What are you supposed to do? Exactly. I just don't think he. I think it was this, like, the perfect example of a human being who didn't get a fair chance of life. And at the very second this goes vi. Viral, it changed his life because it went crazy viral. Like, crazy survival. Like, he able to. He's able to describe everything that happened to him, how famous he got, music videos, millions of followers, and he never got in trouble. Once again. So it's like once this man was set up with a life that was, you know, of opportunity and income, he never committed more crimes. And it just goes to show you, like a human being, if he had a fair chance of life as a good human being, he was just born in really bad circumstances.
Cecily
It's crazy how true that is because.
Manny Mua
Like, let's think about this. If all that happened to you, you're still committing crimes, you're still doing bad stuff. Maybe that's you. But someone who turns their life around from a record of 22 police. He was. I think he sold drugs. Yeah. Because he talks to him about that. But completely turned his life around instantly. Like immediately never got in trouble again. It's like, that's a beautiful thing.
Cecily
I honestly also love stories like that. Like when they talk about those things. I actually just watched the show. It's so funny you say that, that I watched a show called Beauty and Black on Netflix and the story is like. There's just. It's a lot. It's like very like a drama show. And it's like very like dramatic and very intense. But it just kind of shows like that people when they're in shitty circumstances, will do things that are shitty because of the circumstances that they're in. And it's like, it's so unfortunate how like things like that can transpire. But it's like people that are given the fair shot, they will turn things.
Manny Mua
Around if you give them actually get a fair shot at life. And they get, you know, the wonderful opportunity opportunities.
Cecily
And sometimes that are people that are given the most do the worst with it.
Manny Mua
Exactly.
Cecily
So there's some that are.
Manny Mua
To show you, some people are just. No matter where they're born or what they're born into. And then there's really amazing people out there who just had unfair circumstances and they can't help it. And the second they're able to. So I will say why I'm laughing my ass off of the Wide Neck episode. Because it's so funny. By the end I was like, cry out here. Crying deserves better. But it's like really cool how. Yeah, the Internet, I love that.
Cecily
I think changes life. It changes the whole world.
Manny Mua
So apparently in Florida they have a TV show called Will of Fugitive and they roll the wheel for the fugitive of the week. And then the sheriff of the county roasts the fugitive he's currently.
Cecily
Sounds like Florida.
Manny Mua
Yeah, that was given Florida.
Cecily
Like that.
Manny Mua
Really?
Cecily
Florida. Sometimes I'm not kidding, you guys, Florida feels like it's a different country to me.
Manny Mua
It does.
Cecily
I'm not even gonna lie. Sometimes I think about, like when I think about Florida, I'm like, oh my God. Like Florida doesn't seem like it's really.
Manny Mua
You know, what's really about all of this is that that people are always like, if you had to live somewhere else other than California, where you live. And I would probably live in Florida, cuz.
Cecily
So warm.
Manny Mua
Yeah. And the people and I know Florida.
Cecily
Yeah. And you just know you like grew up in Alabama.
Manny Mua
Like I know Florida.
Cecily
I don't know, I almost there.
Manny Mua
What city would you go to?
Cecily
The state that I would probably go to. I really.
Manny Mua
California's gone.
Cecily
No, California's gone.
Manny Mua
I know.
Cecily
I don't know. I'd probably go just go up more north because I'm always on the west coast. So maybe like Oregon or like just keep going up. Or like Washington. I would probably go there. I don't. I just don't see myself going farther in. Or I would go to like a. Like Austin, Texas. Like Austin. It's like a really, really liberal, like, gay city in Texas.
Manny Mua
I didn't know that.
Cecily
Like that. So something like that. So it would just kind of depend.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
Oregon, you're stunning.
Manny Mua
This.
Cecily
You know what? We actually need to do a Vegas trip soon. I.
Manny Mua
We do. I got the itch.
Cecily
A January.
Manny Mua
I got the Vegas. It.
Cecily
I think we should. And now Adele's gone. Oh, that's my pit.
Manny Mua
I know that.
Cecily
Is that Adele's gone and she's like the show. She just did her last show last week, she's done. And now I'm like, she's cooked. I'll never see her ever again. Okay, but what about our pits?
Manny Mua
Neck pain.
Cecily
Oh, Laura.
Manny Mua
Neck pain.
Cecily
Laura has to go through the gigs.
Manny Mua
You guys. I got it.
Cecily
Laura got a tweak.
Manny Mua
I got a tweak.
Cecily
I had a tweak. Remember, like two weeks ago.
Manny Mua
Oh, you're back.
Cecily
Way back.
Manny Mua
I. I guess I slept on my neck wrong. I woke up in severe pain. Couldn't look left for two days. Couldn't. This right here would have put me in the hospital.
Cecily
We went to the two faced Sabrina Carpenter with Alicia and Remy. Laura was like light as a feather.
Manny Mua
Stiff as a board.
Cecily
She's like, manny, I really can't dance. Like, I don't know what I'm gonna do. We're sitting in the car and I'm like, like, so like trying to get tech talks. And she's like, I can't look at you right now.
Manny Mua
Yeah, I couldn't look to the left.
Cecily
And we're over here like literally dancing at times. And I'm like, I know she's gonna feel this tomorrow, but adrenaline is rushing.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
And you're fine right now in this moment, but it's gonna get you in the morning.
Manny Mua
Lasted for like, I think eight days.
Cecily
No.
Manny Mua
That's like a record for me with the neck pain. It's normally like a one, two day or this was eight days of pain. Someone that's hard. She's like, girl, go to get hot cupping done. But the thing is, I had red carpet bits and I had an off the shoulder dress for both. So I was like, I can't do hot cupping right now. However, I got this little acupuncture like thing where you, like, lay on pokies and there's a neck part, and if it happens and I'm able to go get hot cups or suction cups, like, hot cupping. Hot cupping. I'll do it. I'll do it. I'll do it.
Cecily
Okay.
Manny Mua
But I'm better now. What about you?
Cecily
My pit? What is my pit? You guys? I feel like I've honestly, like, the last week was such a whirlwind that, like, I don't even feel like. It just was a long week. I don't have it. I don't feel like it's a pit, but it was just like a really, really long week for me. And I'm so happy to be on this side of it and be like, we're on the week of Thanksgiving. I feel very just grateful to be here. Whereas last week it just took a lot. We had, like, we literally both did red carpets last week. We both did super lives last week. I had a launch last week. You know what? Actually, my pit, sick of my launch. People were trying to, like, shred me for my launch, saying that the shades are both the same on both sides.
Manny Mua
Oh, no.
Cecily
I was getting, like, tons of DMs, tons of comments about it being like, manny, why are you doing the same shades on both sides? And I was like, I understand why they're saying this. And I didn't at first, because I was getting annoyed. Low key. I was kind of like, you guys. You guys think I'm gonna come out with a palette has the same shades on both sides?
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
But because one side is about against almost like a white background, and once it almost against a black background, obviously color theory comes into play. When something's against white, it's going to look more dark when something's against, like, a dark color to look more light. So then I started was like, oh, my God. Like, I just need to explain this, that when things are against white, things are bouncing back color. Right. You're getting bounced back. That's just color theory, like 101 dark. Black absorbs color, so it's always going to look lighter than what it actually is. So once I explained it, I actually just did a tick tock on it literally this morning about explaining, like, why I could look like that. I feel like I'll stop getting those comments. But it was like, something I was like, maybe I should just, like, explain and, like, use it as, like, a teaching opportunity and like, a. For us to all, like, learn about, like, what it could be. Because they're not the same. Like, if you swatch the shades, they're literally, like, the light.
Manny Mua
I don't think they look the same at all.
Cecily
I. They're not.
Manny Mua
I mean, I just. They don't open the palette.
Cecily
I mean, I feel like, because, you know, makeup.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
And you understand and you see colors for a literal living.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
I'm like, if you don't do that, if you don't know about it, it might optically, it could be kind of tricky because you're like, oh, well, that cool tone brown looks like that cool tone brown. But it's like, no, it's, like, literally worlds apart. So that was, like, kind of annoying to me, but I'm glad I was able to, like, actually talk about it, explain it, why people might think of that. And I'm glad I was able to turn it into, like, a learning opportunity.
Manny Mua
Good.
Cecily
So, yeah, it was just, like. Just last week in general was just like, a long week, and I'm just glad to be here. And I feel like we're in bliss.
Manny Mua
Yep.
Cecily
We're, like, here. Like, we're clear. Like, I'm happy.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
This is a great week. We made it.
Manny Mua
Three vibes, baby.
Cecily
I was, like, telling Laura. I was like, after doing the super live, which was like, a long day, doing four hours straight is, like, kind of hard. I was like, the podcast is gonna mean, like, nothing.
Manny Mua
Oh, yeah. He was my babes. After that.
Cecily
After that.
Manny Mua
Because it's not going on live for four hours. It's literally not taking a breath for four hours.
Cecily
That's the part that's hard.
Manny Mua
Like, you being on. It's not like, it's not. The super lives are not like the lives where you're sitting down glammin and just chatting with your audience and having key. It's a totally different ball game. Let's sell, like, you're on QVC for four, by the way. QVCs are, like, within five minute segments. We do four hours straight. Four hours straight. So it's so.
Cecily
That was just like. So now I feel like I can literally take on the world. Be real. Like, I slept so good that night. Let me tell you, that night. Slept soundly, baby. Gorgeously.
Manny Mua
All the demons are out.
Cecily
The demons are gone. And so now I'm just happy to be here. And then tomorrow we have our friendsgiving, like, it's just a sweet great fan. It's a great week. I'm happy to be here. I don't even really have a pit. It was just like tough week. But I'm glad to be here.
Manny Mua
Yep. You know, but we're here.
Cecily
We're here.

Manny Mua
Let'S jump into some rappy fire.
Cecily
Let's do you guys. Let's get right into this tea. We have a couple topics. We have some, some big ones. Mr. Beast finally addressing everything going on which by the way is a shock to me that he even talked about it.
Manny Mua
It did you think he never was.
Cecily
Going think he was going to talk about it.
Manny Mua
Rosanna really brought that heat. And the dog guy who's dog dog.
Cecily
Pack like they really have shined such a light on what's been happening like transpiring behind the scenes with, you know, Mr. Beast's big business and like, girl, I know when he edited that video to make Rosanna look worse than she was.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
He did not expect this to happen.
Manny Mua
No, he did not.
Cecily
He did not expect that to happen.
Manny Mua
But, like, but it takes one. It just takes the wrong. Eventually you keep. You keep playing this game where you're playing with fire quiet on sac. Like things are done a little crooked or we're switching up things for better content. Eventually it's gonna blow the up in your face. Let me tell you. Let me tell you that. And he got the wrong one. That's what happened. He got Rosanna Pensino and she was in. She said incorrect here. You just got yourself caught the up. Yep.
Cecily
But so basically he ended up doing a podcast on Oompa Ville's channel. Right. So he did a podcast. He actually did address, like, kind of everything that was kind of being said.
Manny Mua
I thought that part was great. Me too.
Cecily
I was kind of shocked.
Manny Mua
He just like, kind of went in and was like, let's. Let's blow this thing up. Like, let's get into it. He said we. Because Rosanna and everybody. I mean, it's not just her. She's the main one, I would say.
Cecily
Or like one of the main and Dog Pack are.
Manny Mua
The mains have brought up so many different things that are a problem. Mr. Bees and that have happened. So there was a light of what's.
Cecily
Like a lot of the things that are happening, like behind closed door and like, because you only see like, let's say if you're looking at Mr. B.C. and his channels, you're only seeing like one thing. You're right. You're seeing that this powerhouse of a person and trying to like, do all these things. But then it's like. But what's really happening behind the scenes, especially when you have someone that size, that power, that level, that rich, there's like a lot of things. And usually that's how it is. These powerful wealthy people a lot of times have a lot of demons in those closets. You know what I mean? So he finally ended up coming out and doing like a full expose on himself. Yeah. With.
Manny Mua
With and addressing every rumor, everything that has said. So first things first. First, who was it that did the full and guess investigation on him?
Cecily
His company.
Manny Mua
His company.
Cecily
He hired a company to investigate the behind the scenes of his company to see if there was any like, actual legal issues.
Manny Mua
Himself.
Cecily
For himself. So a lot of people were like, girl, so when you're like, you Hired a company, and they said that everything was clean. But you hired them, you paid them. Like, that's crazy. Like, how are you gonna hire someone, domesticate your company? And then you're gonna come out with the report being like, oh, everything was good.
Manny Mua
Like, we're fine. What do you. Conflict of interest.
Cecily
Exactly. It feels like a conflict of interest. So they. The investigation came out, ended up being like, you guys, everything is good. Everything is no harm, no foul. Like, there's no legal issues.
Manny Mua
They said, there's no legal issues. So Mr. Beast was. Basically, everybody came back and was like, this company you hire. So of course they found nothing. So that's crazy. But he was like, no, they legally would have had to report if they found something illegal. Just because I paid them doesn't mean that they can just find something and throw it on the table.
Cecily
Right?
Manny Mua
He's what.
Cecily
That's what he has reputable, like, companies, you know, apparently legally, they are bound to report crimes if crimes are being committed, like, in a legal sense. So I do believe that aspect because I do feel like those companies, it's their neck on the line if things are happening and they sweep it under the rug. So then it's like, no, they have to legally report if there are crimes happening. So. And he was saying that there was a deep investigation, that there was, like, they were looking at his phone text was just between his girlfriends and him, like, girlfriend and him, and, like, all these different things. But I will say, before we even keep deep diving on this, Mr. Beast's cadence is very cold, almost callous in a way. It's almost robotic in a sense, where the way he talks about things, he doesn't talk about it in a way of, like, actual concern, if that makes sense. When you're watching the interview and he's talking about things, he looks like he's jaded and he's annoyed with the situation that's going on. He's, like, kind of pissed at everything happening, which I could understand being upset about something, duh. But, like, when someone talks about something, you would think that there's like, an admin flow of the conversation and there's, like, you know, like, emotions.
Manny Mua
I'm worried about this, like, this is a problem, or I can't believe they said this about me. He has, like, one cadence the entire.
Cecily
Time, and it's very odd. So watching it, I almost, like, I.
Manny Mua
Think that's how he is as a person.
Cecily
I think so, too. And I think. But see, in this. In this. These situations, it doesn't help because people, I think, naturally want to see someone. Emotions. Right. So when someone's too robotic, it almost comes off as unbelievable. Because when I'm watching it. Pardon me. And like. And I know when things are talking about, like, even, like, the legal thing paying. I'm like, that is probably true. But I still can't believe him because the way he's talking about it.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
So it seems odd for him, the way he talks. It doesn't seem like a way. Like a normal person talking about a situation that they're going through. It seems very much like, yeah, we're dealing with this. It.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
Sucks.
Manny Mua
But you know what's interesting about that is it makes me just wonder, like, well, the demeanor he gave throughout the whole interview. It's. I'm. I feel like that's probably the demeanor he goes about with his business where it's very black and white for him. He doesn't care what's necessarily correct that's happening. He doesn't care if we have to fumble some things around. It's just very, like, for him, it's black and white, and it's like, get the job done. Make us a bunch of money. Get us the views, like, at all cost.
Cecily
At all cost.
Manny Mua
The end.
Cecily
Like.
Manny Mua
And don't get in the way of that. You know what I mean? Like, I have to wonder, like, is that his approach? Because that's his demeanor kind of gives that throughout the interview. It gives a thousand percent.
Cecily
So watching it, it just comes across, like, a little odd to me. Right. So that was just like, something I wanted to say, because when watching it, I could understand how people being like, I don't believe what he says. I'm like, I don't either. It's hard. It's hard to believe with a demeanor like that. Right. So another thing that was very fascinating was that I can't read my handwriting.
Manny Mua
Uh, oh.
Cecily
I was like, wait, what was this?
Manny Mua
Mom? Okay, there we go.
Cecily
Okay. So when talking about the situation with Mr. Beast, they always. They brought up the fact that his mom was, like, running HR and, like, running finance. So he brings it up. He's basically addressing things as Umaville is, like, talking about it. So he's like, so what about this thing? What about this thing? What about this thing? So he's answering questions as they come. So they're like, what about, like, you know, the rumors about your mom running finance or running hr? And he's like, in the beginning of my company, when I had, like, two employees, like, yeah, she was running finance. She was Running hr. Hr. Like, she had little jobs throughout the business. No, she had multiple things going on because it was a small business. Now we have a full HR company. I believe that, too. So it's like, I think that. So sometimes when things are being said, it's like. Like it's just being said. And it's not like, about the timing of when it was said. Like, for example, people can be like, his mom runs hr.
Manny Mua
But it's like, yeah, old employee exposing him. For instance. Let's say an old employee comes out and exposing him. You guys, it's a mess over there. His mom's running hr. No, his mom's not running hr. She did years ago. And it was a very tiny business. And that was doable and good for him for being able to provide for his mom and let her have a job within the business. But see, I feel like a lot of times, whenever big dramas break out, as me and Manny have experience and, God, so many others at this point, what happens is. And I can speak from my own experience, I know many can, too. Yes, there is a big drama. Yes, something went wrong. Yes, we're in the wrong. However, whenever that happens, it's drama. So a million little things do get perpetuated out of one big drama. And because the drama gets so big, you are unable to navigate and protect yourself against all the little other particles and rumors that come out throughout. It simply are not true.
Cecily
Yes, they sprout, sprout from, like, your one thing.
Manny Mua
They have no context. They have no. A lot of them have no truth behind them and those legs, and they're made up and they grow and they stick because you're already in a big drama. So anything else you say about that person, like, I could tell you something crazy about Mr. Beast, you might believe it because he's been in so much drama. And this is where. This is a great example of that. With the. With experiencing the mom working for his company. And that's probably a good thing. While he went on this podcast to address. Address all these little things, because I'm sure, yes, no, he is not right in some of these. He's in the wrong. And totally. Actually, after hearing the whole thing, I was like, oh, so you just shittily run your business so you get what you want out of it. At the end of the day, is what it all comes to and boils down to. It sounds like he's the type of person who wants to win no matter what.
Cecily
It's very almost analytic, robotic, and not like thinking in an Ethos way. Yeah. In an emotional way.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
So that. But see, when you. When you have that kind of personality, when you're so robotic like that, that's how you get into, like. Because you almost can't empathize with people when you are like that. You almost become too robotic and it becomes, like, a little weird. Right? So.
Manny Mua
So you're a ticking time bomb. If you're a celebrity influencer, whatever you are, if you have just a ton of eyes on you, like, seriously, you're super relevant. You have a ton of eyes on you. You're a ticking time bomb. So your T's better be crossed and your eyes better be dotted because. Because people have so much more want and so much more reason to take you down. Right, Totally. So if someone's doing the relevancy. Yeah, exactly. So if. Let's say someone's doing what, Mr. Beast? Doing shitty business behind the scenes. But they get a hundred views for video, no one's gonna care. No one's gonna expose them. When you got something big, you got 100 million.
Cecily
Oh, that's baby.
Manny Mua
Why were you this messy for this long with this empire you built? Like, you are a ticking time bomb. Of course someone's gonna down.
Cecily
What about the handbook? So he has, like a whole. So he. Oh, this was like, actually a big part of his scandal that ended up coming out to be, you know, true that he had this handbook that when they were hired people on one of the biggest parts. That was really strange. It was like, no doesn't mean no. That was like a huge ass.
Manny Mua
Why did they put that in the handbook? Girl, that is not crazy.
Cecily
Not a thought in the head. No, literally, like, the idea of, like, so when you guys. When you guys are told no. That you can't film here, here. That doesn't really mean no. You need to convince them and get them to say yes. So it almost feels so crazy to read that and be like, you guys actually have this in an employee handbook to try to convince people that no doesn't mean no. There's no consent at all when it comes to anything, when it comes to filming at all. And you just need to, like, essentially buy your way into getting that thing no matter what. Which I think is crazy.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
So he ends up those. Again, they brought it up, like, talk about the hemisphere handbook. He literally, like, essentially doubles down when talking about the handbook and he's like, no. Like, you guys don't get it. Like, we're talking about, like, employees. And like, how, like, no doesn't really Mean no. Just kind of doing.
Manny Mua
Someone doesn't want to film, like, try.
Cecily
To, like, commit them to do. And I'm like, again, it sounds crazy.
Manny Mua
That doesn't sound good.
Cecily
It doesn't. It doesn't sound good. You explaining it. It doesn't sound good. Regardless. In the handbook, it sounds crazy, you explaining it, being like, oh, well, you don't get it. Like, it's just for employees that, like, have no means no. It doesn't really mean no. Just keep trying your hardest to get a yes.
Manny Mua
And I'm like, babes, see, this is what I'm talking about. Mr. B seems like he's the type of guy who doesn't care.
Cecily
Yeah.
Manny Mua
About what's going on, who gets cheated, who gets over. As long as he's winning at the end of the day, as long as his company's winning, as long as his videos are getting views, as long as, you know, all things are going good for him. He doesn't really seems like it's what. It's. It's what I was gathering.
Cecily
That's how I felt too. That's just a feeling. We. That's how we felt.
Manny Mua
Yes. It's a feeling.
Cecily
So that. I just thought that was a weird part that he was talking about the handbook and being like, no, you guys don't get it. Like, it means, like, no means no. And I'm like, no, no. We did get that. That's the worst part.
Manny Mua
Yeah, Babs.
Cecily
That'S not good. You know what I mean? So that was like. I thought that was very fascinating. And it's funny because, like, obviously we're just, like, too honestly unbiased. Like, we just don't give a. About the situation in general like that, but, like, looking from the outside and we can see where things can go awry and see where things, like, are rightfully so.
Manny Mua
Like, right.
Cecily
We've been.
Manny Mua
We've been through a little bit of both.
Cecily
There's a little bit of both. I think that.
Manny Mua
And I think every drama that's ever happened, there's been a little bit of both where the person's in the wrong, but at the same time, so much has been perpetuated out of it. This simply isn't it. You know what I mean? I think that's every single drama.
Cecily
That's what it is.
Manny Mua
And I think he's got things. I think the handbook was one of the big. No, no. Like what? The Talking about handbook. That's wild.
Cecily
That's crazy. It literally comes off, like, absolutely fricking insane. So he was Basically saying to. He's like the guy, you know, asked him and he's like, are you going to sue Dog Park? Like which is, you know, his own boy. That was basically coming up. And Mr. B is basically like, how could he not? How could I not? And I was like, he's a guy.
Manny Mua
Who'S basically, he's saying he's a guy who's spewing lies, who is hurting his business right now. That is like key defamation right there and that.
Cecily
And it's funny because defamation cases are actually almost impossible to win.
Manny Mua
They are.
Cecily
But because Mr. Beast allegedly has proof that people have pulled out of his company pulling out millions of dollars money because of these claims that dog. And he's like, we get it in.
Manny Mua
Writing, prove that those claims are not real. And then he proves that these people pulled out. The dog pack guy is going to be completely. By the way, he is going to get wrecked. Then if he ever has money, Mr. Beast will be entire to it.
Cecily
What's it called when you get that? It's like you get not like reparations, I'm actually sure. But basically like you get like almost like their check. Like their check that comes in. You get that because you're getting all the money that they.
Manny Mua
Because you're owed, they're in debt to you.
Cecily
Yeah, I can't remember.
Manny Mua
And then anything he owns, which, I mean, I don't know if he owns anything, will probably be in debt to Mr. Beast. If he wins this lawsuit, which I'm guarantee you Mr. Beast is going to have some. I mean, look at the resources he has. He's going to have some fierce lawyers.
Cecily
Well, especially like, let's say like again, if he is disproving a lot of things that Dogpack said about, about the situations ahead, what's actually going on, things like that.
Manny Mua
Like, and he can proof of people pulling out of business because monetarily he's gonna get wrecked.
Cecily
Like that's another case for.
Manny Mua
That's an actual case. And I'm telling you right now, Mr. Bees, as crazy as he seems, I promise you he's not the type of guy to just create a big case and go after someone that he didn't think he was going to win.
Cecily
100.
Manny Mua
That's the thing.
Cecily
Because all the money spent so far, like let's clock that too.
Manny Mua
I. I think he would go after what he would be like, it's pretty guaranteed to win.
Cecily
And also especially like, like, how could you being Mr. Think about yourself as Mr. Beast? How could you almost not feel vindictive of it being like, I'm going to get you for everything.
Manny Mua
I'm going to wreck your ass from.
Cecily
What you lied about me. If the. If the guy's lying.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
You know what I mean? So it's like, how could you not want to do that?
Manny Mua
And the thing is, you can't just tell like mistruths or be like, oh, that's the way I interpreted it. Like it. When you're in a defamation case, like, if you say something which is like a flat lie. Nikki Cardi B won a defamation case against saying a drama channel online. Cardi B won the defamation defamation case because she said she had std.
Cecily
Yeah. And that's like, that's a big president.
Manny Mua
You cannot just say whatever you want to say. I swear to God. And I feel like. Because like, the influencing world's becoming more familiar. It's getting bigger influencers treat like celebrities. Everything is changing. I feel like defamation cases aren't going to be quite as hard as they once were.
Cecily
100 because now, especially if they're like trying to say as an actual fact. That's the difference. That's why even when we talk we'll be like, allegedly.
Manny Mua
Like, this is my opinion. This is just my opinion. Yeah.
Cecily
We're not saying it as fact because who knows the facts? So if you're saying something as a fact, they can actually.
Manny Mua
It also has to cause you to lose money monetarily and you have to be able to prove that how that direct thing they said could you cause.
Cecily
You to lose and how it's untrue.
Manny Mua
And how you can get it back. And you had to prove that it wasn't true.
Cecily
It's not true.
Manny Mua
Which it sounds like the dog pack guys. I think he's probably said so much that.
Cecily
Right.
Manny Mua
So there's definitely something.
Cecily
There could be aspects of it that true. I'm sure there could be aspects of it that are absolutely true. So it really. Again, this is more because drama has gone kind of so big of what it is. There's a lot of moving parts to it now. So that's why I find it wild that Mr. Beast actually did come out and talk about it himself.

Manny Mua
Talk about the charity situation, which I this is another situation where I feel like Mr. Beast really doesn't care. And I used to admire Mr. Beast.
Cecily
So did I. I really did.
Manny Mua
Because what he built off, I don't hate him. I'm like, I just see for what it is. Yeah. What you are. Like, I see you for what you are.
Cecily
Okay. Diva.
Manny Mua
He did a video. He does a lot of philanthropy videos. And the one was. Was it a thousand thousand people? I said, or a hundred.
Cecily
A thousand.
Manny Mua
It was a thousand. Giving a thousand people. Vision. Basically. He worked with a charity that does eye surgery and gives people.
Cecily
Some of them. Yeah. Some like, he worked with a charity. Some of them, like, we're like, okay, we're gonna donate this many things, but you have to like, obviously pay us for the thingy. So he's like, okay, as a philanthropy, we're going to pay for all these surgeries. But then the freaking company comes out.
Manny Mua
One of them.
Cecily
One of them.
Manny Mua
Because I think they used a couple different cover because it was so many surgeries. One of them didn't get paid paid.
Cecily
And they came out and they made a video like, we haven't been paid by Mr. Philanthropy.
Manny Mua
So Mr. Beast said, oh my God, I didn't know that that happened. You know, I'm running three, eight businesses and we're doing 20 videos. And like, I missed that. I'm so sorry that it happened. Here's your check.
Cecily
Yep. And then also end up being like, they end up actually doing. He Said that they end up doing 1800 surgeries.
Manny Mua
Yeah, it wasn't just a thousand, but for the video he said it sounded better just to say a thousand. A thousand. Because 1800 is a random number. But he said that we did and I believe him on that.
Cecily
Me too.
Manny Mua
This is my problem with all that. It like, oops, a boo boo happened and you took care of it and you handled it. That's great. That's kind of a big boo boo. And who knows if they would have went paid if they didn't publicly come out on you. Who knows if they would have gotten paid?
Cecily
So actually this is, I think, where the biggest majority of like the issues lie. Because a lot of these, like, oh, we just fucked up. Like, oh, we just messed up. So the thing is, when you have that many employees and you have that big of things going on, people almost have to say things like to the void to get someone's attention because of how many, many people you have to go through to get something done because of how big the company has gotten. Right. So like, what if they'd never made that video? Would they have ever been paid? Were they even getting back to them?
Manny Mua
The first place to wonder. And it seems like with Mr. Beast, because he's so robotic and he's. So as long as it's green and as long as the video is laid, I don't care.
Cecily
One out of ten.
Manny Mua
Yeah, as long as it's a one out of ten. For me, like, you know, it just seems like the way he comes off to me is like, who cares what happens? He's like, oh, there's a problem. Yeah, fix it. But it's like, like, yeah, exactly. Like we don't. So why are you doing all these things if it seems like they're kind of half assed in a way, you know? Right.
Cecily
Well, the thing is then talking about the AI. Talk about the AI from another one too.
Manny Mua
Good God, there's so.
Cecily
There's so many. See, that's why it's like kind of crazy. And like we actually can't even deep dive all of it because it's so much. I'm like, girl, would take us like five hours. Just talk about one thing. So Doc Pack and Rosanna were actually doing a video and they were talking about things kind of going on and he was like, oh, this is like AI. Like they're doing like a hospital video showing a hospital. They were doing like a building a hospital somewhere. Right. Which you know, obviously, which is absolutely incredible. And the things that like, let's let's give, you know, some flowers. The flowers desert. Because he has still done a lot of things for people. Let's. Let's clock that T. But he was basically building this thing. So in the video, though, it's. It's edited out. Like, they almost edit out a portion of the building to make it look like. Not to make it look like that, but it seems like. Like it was like, oh, look, we built like we built a whole ass hospital or we took away a hospital. And it's like these things, these little things, right? These little edits, these little things that like, make something look a certain way. It's going to lower your credibility Constantly. Constantly. Little drops in this bucket of credibility. It's like, girl, you just keep adding to it. Why would you even edit that out in the first place?
Manny Mua
What was he editing out in the hospital?
Cecily
It was like a whole building.
Manny Mua
So he was pretending that it wasn't already there.
Cecily
Yes.
Manny Mua
And then they basically built it, but the building was already there. And they just restructured it to make.
Cecily
It look, like different. To make it look like it was like, oh, my God, look at this feet.
Manny Mua
Like I said back to him, just doing. Doesn't matter what's wrong or right, but as long as it does, good for him. Same thing with the Rosanna Pansino. Did she win or was she in, like top three?
Cecily
She was like, top three.
Manny Mua
Okay, so she was like top three in Minecraft. Minecraft.
Cecily
No, they did like a. Like a competition Minecraft.
Manny Mua
Sorry, bro, I can't keep up.
Cecily
No, it was literally just like I think they were doing.
Manny Mua
She was in a competition video for Mr. Beast and she came in top three. And. Yeah, and put like Logan Paul, who's obviously one of the most popular, gonna get him views videos. It seems like it in my opinion. It seems like Mr. Beast will go corrupt real quick to get his clothes and his views and his look. He doesn't care. And I think that's what Ro is trying, like. So it's like, yeah, just. Just edit it, make it look like it wasn't there. And we'll just say.
Cecily
And then he's like, oh, that was just like on, like I was at my. I was like, our bad. We have 100 editors. They just like edited. He's like, you guys. And I told him like, guys, come on. And I'm like, girl, the way you talk about this is so one.
Manny Mua
Okay, here's the thing. I don't believe that you were like, guys, come on. No, I don't either believe that you said, do it. I believe you were like, that's what I think.
Cecily
Yeah.
Manny Mua
That looks.
Cecily
Especially the way you talk about it.
Manny Mua
I'm like, babes, do you think that.
Cecily
We'Re all gonna believe this?
Manny Mua
I don't believe. Believe that.
Cecily
Like, I don't believe it either.
Manny Mua
And then one was stupid. They're like, you AI'd an explosion. It didn't even really happen. They were able to prove the explosion.
Cecily
It didn't look as cool, and they.
Manny Mua
Just ooped it up. I don't think there's a problem with that.
Cecily
I don't think so. I think. Do I think he actually said in the videos, like, maybe what we can do in the future is, like, add a little sticker. It's like, this is A.I. okay.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
This is like.
Manny Mua
Yeah. So I think that's like.
Cecily
I think that's a great way.
Manny Mua
When you say you built a building that you didn't build and you edited the building out, that's a problem. Problem.
Cecily
That's crazy.
Manny Mua
That's crazy because it looks. Because you said you built a hospital, and maybe you did, but, like, why lie about it?
Cecily
Or, like, make it look like it's. It was.
Manny Mua
It was more depressed than it was. Like, it's like moss to the building. In AI, they added moss growing off the sides of the building.
Cecily
Like, that's what I'm saying. So, like, it just. It just really deteriorates the credibility of, like, what you're trying to do. Because at the end of the day, it's philanthropy. Like, you want it to be the best that it can be. And it's like, you're supposed to be doing this, like, thing for people, but then it's also, at the same time, too, it's like, are you doing it for people? Are you doing it for the show for the people? Where it's like, are you really doing philanthropy for the sake of doing philanthropy?
Manny Mua
I think it's, like, very. I think it's slightly obvious.
Cecily
You know what?
Manny Mua
No, I think that you're doing it.
Cecily
For other clicks of views, too.
Manny Mua
So you get the clicks of views, you get the millions of dollars, you get heat off your back because you're constantly doing things for other people. It's just like the perfect storm.
Cecily
The perfect storm.
Manny Mua
It's.
Cecily
It's honestly a little too perfect. And that's why it's kind of like. That's why I think he's caught himself in these situations. So I'm like, girl, look. Look at what it's. It's been brewing. It's been brewing really, really long time. Especially like the idea Netcredit is here.

Edu of like doing philanthropy to be so nothing. You can't on him because he's doing philanthropy. That's like a really big aspect of.
Manny Mua
You know what people have said, the Mr. Beastness.
Cecily
Yeah. It's like it protects him.
Manny Mua
It protects him so much. Goodies cleaned up, so many beaches. But now I'm looking back, all the videos I'm watching, like, what does it really look like? I know. Did you guys. Hey, I mean it's.
Cecily
Was it trash? AI.
Manny Mua
I think like majority of the he's done is fake. Fake. To be honest with you. That's my belief. I think majority of like the games and the competitions and even like some of the philanthropy work, I think a lot of it is just for show.
Cecily
It's for entertainment.
Manny Mua
It's for entertainment, essentially.
Cecily
I think so too. I think there's definitely a lot of aspects of it that are just completely unbelievable now. Now that the like the wool has been pulled over the eyes, you're kind of like, girl, what the has been going on this whole time? Like, it's crazy. So. So, you know, I'm just, I. I'm glad he addressed. I am too.
Manny Mua
I am glad for that. I suppose it may like even whenever you address things and it, it was like the truth and it wasn't good and like his team did do bad. I was glad he said they did.
Cecily
He was like I owned it. Like it happened. The lunch Lee thing?
Manny Mua
Yeah, the lunch lady. The mold in the launch or he.
Cecily
Was like, girl, we're, we're like FDA approved or whatever. It was like saying like when it leaves the factory, there's obviously no mold. Like there's no actual recall. Things can happen in transit it though. So it's like those things.
Manny Mua
I believe that like yeah, when he says like, like why on God Screen earth. Would the factory be like, oh, yeah, let's send that out. That's gonna do great for everyone. You know what I mean? Like, obviously, let's have a.
Cecily
Let's have a thought here, you guys. Let's actively think here. Like, obviously we're not.
Manny Mua
Like, this is where drama gets perpetuated.
Cecily
Yes.
Manny Mua
This is where we take.
Cecily
Yes.
Manny Mua
Because we're against Mr. Beast now and he has done things that aren't great. So now anything he does is going to be perpetuated in drama. Yeah.
Cecily
And you're kind of like, know, like, of course the company's not going to purposely like put out moldy cheese product. Like, they're not going to do that. Makes no sense. They know how big they are. Obviously KSI and Logan Paul are attached to it too. They don't want that to happen.
Manny Mua
They don't want that press.
Cecily
No.
Manny Mua
It's horrible. Yeah, yeah.
Cecily
Like they're not.
Manny Mua
If they knew, they would stop for him.
Cecily
Yeah. Yeah. That was very.
Manny Mua
I don't hate Mr. B's. I'm not like, same f this guy. I now see him kind of for who he is and how he runs it for what it is. I see it for what it is now. Like, what's going on over there? There. And a lot of people have exposed that.
Cecily
Totally. And it's like really? The. The. The illusion has been disillusioned.
Manny Mua
Yes, I've been disillusioned.
Cecily
I'm disillusioned.
Manny Mua
I'm. Okay. We have big drama to talk about.
Cecily
Girl.
Manny Mua
This pajama gate.
Cecily
I need a sip of water for this.
Manny Mua
If people have not called it pajama gate yet, I would love this to be branded as. Cuz all the big dramas is pajama gate, right?
Cecily
Yeah.
Manny Mua
All the big dramas get named. So this one I feel like deserves a name because I feel like it got there.
Cecily
Lauren knows. Knows. Laura knows this. Well, that's where she put her literal card down. Let's clock that tea. She goes like this.
Manny Mua
I did Laura. You just put it. She's like this. I'm like, let's get into pajamas. I'm deep, guys. I got deep in a pajama.
Cecily
So tell us, what is pajama? Gaylord, tell the people what is the team?
Manny Mua
So the premise of the story is a mom talker decided to come out with pajamas and she priced him at a hundred dollars. That is just. That's the old hard gist. You would. I. The thing that upsets me about this whole sit situation is there's a lot of up horrible things happening in the world that people have not given an inch. The energy that they put into damn pajamas to care about or speak up about, but the energy they've given. A price point. Pajama. It's like we, we're. I think we're all up a little bit on this. 160 pajamas. So Cecily, I like her page. Okay. She lives in Tennessee, she has four kids. She's a pastor wife. Automatically when you're a pastor's wife, people are going. I'm like, you're brave.
Cecily
I didn't even know.
Manny Mua
Because whenever you're a pastor's wife, you're expected to be perfect.
Cecily
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Second, like if you go on guns blazing, cussing, I'm not perfect. Like I'm a wreck. People are not going to expect you to be perfect. You go on saying you're a pastor's wife.
Cecily
Pastor's wife.
Manny Mua
Oh my God. I don't even pressure people. Yes.
Cecily
I don't even think them.
Manny Mua
Exactly. So her tik tok is blown up. She has a really big account. She has four kids. I don't know how she did it. Her sister in law and her really good friends. Her sister in law is a little tick tocker. A little bit smaller than her, but a nepo tick tocker in the way of like Cecily got really big.
Cecily
Yeah.
Manny Mua
Yep. And now the sister in law does it. They're very cute together. They're best friends. They're always together. They have kids and stuff. It's really cute. They decided to come out with a pajama company together. And it's called for the Mims.
Cecily
For the Mems.
Manny Mua
That's a trendy name. You gotta be careful with them trendy names because they may not last. Listen, listen. I'm all about a up business name. So before the Mims, I was like, that's trends.
Cecily
That's a trend.
Manny Mua
This is a trendy word right now for memories. Anyways, listen, rookie business owners, I get it. So they come out with children's pajamas. Their pajamas. But there's one pair on the website that's like $98.
Cecily
So it's only one pair. That was that.
Manny Mua
Yes. They had other pairs and like the kids ones were like six. They were so expensive.
Cecily
Yeah, yeah.
Manny Mua
But they came out with this. It's a very small business, by the way, because. Because the drama got so big, people hacked into their website and found out how many they had of each and they released it. So it's very small. Very. Not a lot. Not. It's A tiny starting, so price points too high. They get basically their ass wrecked on that. Now let's go back. Cecily has already been in two different pretty decent sized dramas. One, because her, I think it's her oldest daughter had her sixth birthday and was blowing out the birthday candles and the other kids are like. And she's like, okay, everyone gets a turn to blow out her candles. And the little girl's just standing there where our brothers and sisters each get a turn to blow our camera.
Cecily
Oh, it's her kids wanting to blow out the girls.
Manny Mua
Her own kids. And she's like, whatever, I'll just give everybody a turn. She films it, she posts it. And people are like, you're the most selfish, dumbest mom ever. And I'm like, you guys also, I.
Cecily
Don'T think I had to be filmed that.
Manny Mua
But see, this is where like when you give speak to me too.
Cecily
No, we know, we know.
Manny Mua
Listen, we've learned from our many, many, many, many mistakes, okay? Me and Manny have made all the mistakes. So we know. And we have also been online for 11 years. These people have been online for two years. So they don't know when to turn the camera off, okay? And just live life. That's when your mistakes start to settle in. Babes, listen up. Cecily, listen up. Turn the camera off.
Cecily
Turn it off, babe, turn it off.
Manny Mua
And not every thought you have has to be a tik tok. I'm just going to throw that out there. Some people think they have quirky different thoughts and then they get their asses tore up online. I'm like, see, not every thought has to be a TikTok. Anyway, so she got really caught up for that big drama, which by the way is crazy because it was like her own kids in her own house making. I don't feel like the girl's gonna have trauma for that. The little girl?
Cecily
No.
Manny Mua
God, I don't think she's gonna have drama for the candles. I think it's weird she did it cuz my mom.
Cecily
Everyone gets a surprise. Everyone gets.
Manny Mua
Everyone gets a trophy. This is what my mom would have said if we tried it. Get your ass out of here.
Cecily
Go. It's not your candle.
Manny Mua
Here's not your candle. Get. And you learn. You learn. Oh, it's someone else's special moment. I don' a moment today. That's okay. Yes, she made a mistake. She filmed that gets tore up online. Then Hurricane Milton is coming and then she makes a tik tok. We're going to Disney. We're all driving To Florida. And I believe people were starting or they were considering evacuation at this time.
Cecily
I don't know.
Manny Mua
I don't know evacuation was in play yet. But like, we knew the hurricane was bad and we knew it was coming. And then home girl decides to film a tik tok, telling us she's taking her family to Disney. Cecily, Cecily, you can't do that, darling. It's reading very selfish and stupid again.
Cecily
Yes. Yeah, it just like. It really again, it's really just has to be like tone deaf. You have to think, like, you have.
Manny Mua
To just think active. Active thinking.
Cecily
Active thinking. Like, am I going to come across crazy and diabolical?
Manny Mua
So Manny, tell. Tell us all what happens when you already got two Dr. Dramas brewing and people are starting not to lucky what's gonna happen next. That's right. Everything you do, they're gonna pick.
Cecily
And the thing is too hard, when you have been in drama before, they use that as ammunition for the next one. That's how it works.
Manny Mua
The sky is blue. Over and over.
Cecily
They're like, oh, are you not the same girl who did that thing at Disney?
Manny Mua
I think they're gonna cancel her harder than this. I don't think the pajama is gonna be your big one.
Cecily
No, no. The thing is like, again, going in.
Manny Mua
This route, they're gonna get her again no matter what she again. Because once you have the unlikable tag stamped on you. Yeah. It's popular not to like you. And you don't want to really get into that world of being popular not to like, because it gives everybody the green light to on you because they're not going to get hate for on you. Right. So if I wake up today and I want to on someone that's never been in drama, I'm gonna get in trouble if I'm a dramatist. So like, so you can't do that. You have to wait till someone has got the unlikable tag, which Cecily now does. And it's free game for them. So they're gonna. That's why the drama keeps perpetuating, because it's a safe place for everybody to hate. Now, I'm not saying she didn't make mistakes.
Cecily
No, totally, Totally.
Manny Mua
I don't think the mistakes she made.
Cecily
A shitty place to be. Like, it's not fun to be in that spot.
Manny Mua
We both live it.
Cecily
We've both lived it.
Manny Mua
Oh my gosh, so many people have lived it. Michaela lives it every day. James Charles lives it all the time.
Cecily
People are just popular to hate and that's just the reality of life. That's just what it is. People that we find community in hating people. That's the truth. So it's like, we're not saying that these warrant this, like, hate mob, but, like, that's just what it is.
Manny Mua
That's the business. That is the business. And unfortunately, do you think her launching this little baby pajama line, she thought was going to blow up her career? Do you think she thought that for once that would be what it is? Do you think that she thought she was doing some corrupting evil, mind you.
Cecily
Why is she liking Shady Tweet?
Manny Mua
Like, okay, that she up okay first, but let's go back a little bit. So launch the pajamas. Whole Internet's coming down on her. They're like, how dare you? Which is very confusing of me because you have free will not to buy 98. You got free will. You got free will. You don't. It felt like she was making people buy these pajamas and the money they didn't have. The thing is, there is a market for 98 pajamas. If you go to Nordstrom, if you go to Sacks, there are. So if you go to skims right now on Skims Girl, they're already there. 98 pajamas, it's a very popular market for it. If you're a mom talker, your audience is not the one.
Cecily
They don't want to see it.
Manny Mua
It's not the one. Boo Boo. And she doesn't know that. And I'm sure she buys because she's made a ton of money off Tick tock. I'm sure she buys 98 pajamas and for her that's five. Fine. So there's a little disconnect there.
Cecily
Yes. Well, the thing is also, you have to also be, again, a real. This is like the part of, like, actually being in tune and being a realist about, like, what you have, what your audience has. Like, for example, us coming out with things in our line.
Manny Mua
So Natasha and nona made a $128 palette. I believe it was back in the day, let's say a lunar beauty launch. Back in the day when Natasha Nama broke the Internet with those palettes. Let's say you did that. What's going to happen to you?
Cecily
Shredded to fill.
Manny Mua
You would have been shred. So you know better.
Cecily
I. And I also, like, maybe this is the. The difference too is that I feel like I'm in tune my audience and I know and like, I'm not doing things to them over. And I'm not saying Natasha Is Okay. All I'm saying is that, like, I just know how it is and I'm not trying to gouge. So I think. And I'm not even saying that Cecil's gouging. Like, I have no. Like, I don't know where her shit's made. It could be expensive as hell to make, especially if you're making the U.S. it could be like literally crazy price points to make it here. But you still have to be aware, is what I'm trying to say.
Manny Mua
You do, no matter what, just be aware. Because hear me out. I do believe that they ordered such low quantities that their overhead was so high in order for them to make any money off these pajamas. I believe they had to price them at that price point. I do. I believe that. The problem is you have to figure out another way to do business and to manufacture. Once you figure out that your price point is going to get that high, you have to say, actually, this isn't going to work. This is my.
Cecily
Before you launch them.
Manny Mua
Yes, before you, before you start the business. This is a rookie business mistake. Like, you have to say, like, we can't afford to do business like this. We have to go back to the drawing board and figure it out. Because, you know, I've had many palettes and formulas and eyeshadows that are the coolest, most sickening things ever where I've had to literally say no to. Because if they go in the palette, the palette's now 50, $60. And that's not what my audience is going to buy. That's not what they're here for. These are not it. So I have to go back to.
Cecily
And you don't want to do it either?
Manny Mua
Like, you don't want to make. No, no, no. So that's another thing for her to. I think there's like a lot of reading in the room. She's got to do.
Cecily
Totally.
Manny Mua
And then on top of everything, okay, so her and her sister in law sit down, they make a video. The sister in law seemed pissed. I'm sure she was. She did. See, Cecily seems fine. Like, honestly, she's like, listen. We listen.
Cecily
Really sweet. She's like.
Manny Mua
And I think things are passing by really quickly and she's missing them. And she keeps like, huh? Yes.
Cecily
Like, just like a.
Manny Mua
Like they lower the price of the pajamas and they say they're no longer making a profit. And people are like, you're a liar. I actually believe that. I actually do believe you do small business.
Cecily
I believe because of them. Like, when, when I realized that they weren't made in China and they weren't. That they were made here in the US for the set, I. I was like, I believe it probably cost you at least, like, $50 per pair to make.
Manny Mua
And then you gotta pay for shipping, running the website, all the overheads, the insurance on the brand, the legoing, your marketing, your.
Cecily
You don't realize.
Manny Mua
Like, you actually don't realize your texts that go out. You're paying for your domain. You're paying. There's so much more than just paying for the product. So they probably won't make money now. And that's a rookie. You made a mistake. You gotta pay for it. You know what I mean?
Cecily
See, this is exactly, exactly like, this is how, like, small businesses work too, right? Like, just like Laura was saying, I've created eyeshadow palettes that were literally double the price of what I was making them. What I can make them at now because I was making them in the usa and I was like, I just feel like I have to be made in the usa. But I was barely making any fucking money. So then, now I'm like, okay, no, now I know I have other sources and resources that I can actually make money on it and still price fairly. So that's, again, just like one of those, like, rookie mistakes that you make. And sometimes you just have to go through those mistakes in the beginning and then you realize, like, you know what? I don't want to do this. Yeah, I don't want to do this. I have to make money as a business owner. Because then there's the.
Manny Mua
There's no more launches.
Cecily
There's no more launches. The lights don't stay on. So it's like you have to do what you have to do. But this is one of those things where it's like, you just have to be, again, in tune and aware.
Manny Mua
In tune and aware. And this. And then now. Now the tweet, now the text or the comment that she liked.
Cecily
Yeah, because it was like she liked to shake. Katie tweeted about, oh, why do I keep saying.
Manny Mua
I know, me too. I keep saying tweet. It wasn't. It was a comment under her video.
Cecily
So basically someone commented, like, oh, well, Avery came out with an expensive set of things. And no one said, but Avery is.
Manny Mua
Another mom talker, by the way.
Cecily
Avery woods, by the way, lover. So they. They commented that. Love her, lover.
Manny Mua
Love her.
Cecily
Love her much.
Manny Mua
Love her.
Cecily
They. She came out with something with another brand. Right? It was like a collaboration that they did Merch. It was like Merch. It was a merch set that they. They did. And the comment was like, oh, well, Avery can come out with something, but.
Manny Mua
Cuz I think Avery set was like $200. If you got sweatshirt and the pants, I think he would have paid $200 for both. But then Cecily comes out with a $100 pajama set and like, the world cracked. So the girl's point was like, okay. And no one came from Avery. Whenever she came out with her expensive merch, and no one said anything then.
Cecily
And then liked it.
Manny Mua
Cecily liked the comment. And when you like it on Tik Tok it, it. It, like, it has your big. It ignites a fire, like, girl.
Cecily
And the thing is, I know they're friends. I know they're friends.
Manny Mua
She's gone on Avery's podcast.
Cecily
So, like, that's why to me, it's kind of like I thought that was really up, like, what are you doing? Why would you like that? You know what, though? I feel like it was literally just her, like, just being petty. She was being petty. She was upset.
Manny Mua
She was on fire.
Cecily
She was on fire. She literally was, like, literally burning the empress going. And she was pissed off. And she's like, yeah, why is it that Avery can do that and I can't? That's literally what she was thinking, and she was just being shady. But at the end of the day, it sucks for Avery because it's like.
Manny Mua
Girl, why are you cheating me?
Cecily
Why am I getting drawn in?
Manny Mua
Avery, I would be pissed. I'd be pissed if, like, somebody was in trouble and they wanted to on me in the midst of it.
Cecily
Like, how dare you?
Manny Mua
Yeah, how dare you?
Cecily
You're gonna throw me in the. In your line of fire?
Manny Mua
I'm like, girl, everything you've done so far has been, like, very aloof and, you know, not reading the room. And you not understand your audience. Now suddenly.
Cecily
Suddenly, you like a shady thing.
Manny Mua
That's when I was like, no, that's sinister. That's dark.
Cecily
Sinister. I love that word. That's diabolical right there.
Manny Mua
It is.
Cecily
I don't. I. It doesn't. That made no sense to me because I'm like, oh, she's. I. To me, she comes off very, like, like, very aloof. But then that. I'm like, oh, you're just being sh.
Manny Mua
You're aware.
Cecily
You're aware. Like, that's crazy to me. So I thought that was really, really weird, like, to do that. But I think it's interesting that they end up just lowering the price okay, well, this is the price now, and we're not making any money. So I'm like, well, that's just. That's on y'all.
Manny Mua
It's a lose lose for them.
Cecily
It's a lose, lose. Why even keep doing it? At that point? I, Like, I wouldn't even continue to make stuff.
Manny Mua
Oh, no. I would close it down.
Cecily
I'll close it down.
Manny Mua
I would. Honestly, I'm so serious. Just because the drama got attached. This one's so big, and it's like. Yeah, there's, like, little nuances where. No, it's not fair. And yes, you were a learning experience, and maybe you want a chance to try again and make it right. I would just probably shut it down, to be honest with you. I would shut it down and start over with something else in the future. I would just. And plus, you're gonna. I don't know the name of the company. Maybe it'll become like, a billion. What if it has a billion dollar business one day for the mems? I know. Honestly. Honestly, like, at that point, turn that around. Call me.
Cecily
Then you. I was like, you literally, they're like, we won't. We're not calling.
Manny Mua
We're not calling you babe.
Cecily
We're not calling, like. But again, if that were to happen, then they clearly learned and they moved on in a better way. So it's like, at the end of the day, you can just hope for the best.
Manny Mua
I like her. I still like her page. I'm not going to demonize this woman.
Cecily
I didn't know who the this was.
Manny Mua
There you go. That's what I'm talking about, man. That's what I'm talking about.
Cecily
This woman was.
Manny Mua
I like the mom talk world. There's a lot of them. They're like the new beauty. Maybe that's what you know. You know how beauty was so big? Like, in 2000, mom talk is like the thing. Now mom talk is, like, the big thing. Whereas before it was like, more. You have. And they're all moms. Like, it's. All. The moms are like, the thing on Tik Tok, and I'm in it. I'm in it. And beauty, like, not so much.
Cecily
Right, Right.
Manny Mua
There's a beauty community. I'm not saying that. But you remember how beauty was, like, so, like, my God, like, the whole Internet was just like, oh, my God, this beauty industry was so crazy. And now that's kind of washed out. But it's the mom talk now.
Cecily
That's the new thing.
Manny Mua
That's the new Thing that people have.
Cecily
No, but like, let me tell you something. This. Because this popcorn was popcorn. Not this popcorn popcorn.
Manny Mua
It was popcorny.
Cecily
So it's like to me, I was like, oh my God.
Manny Mua
That's why I think she'll have another one.
Cecily
Yeah, I was like that. I was like, this is like they.
Manny Mua
Got a hard on.
Cecily
Serious on now, you know, girl, they have a hard on for it. It's like, oh, well, now that we. Now that we got you and it got this big get you again.
Manny Mua
Going to get you again. And that's just like honestly how it works.
Cecily
If people got a lot of views and likes off of your, they're going to.
Manny Mua
And they didn't get wrecked for talking on you.
Cecily
And I'm not in trouble for it.
Manny Mua
I'm in. It ain't never going to end.
Cecily
It's the sad truth.
Manny Mua
Until they take yes out. Yeah, but not even. Because I feel like. Even I feel like Michaela's big drama was definitely the last.
Cecily
Right.
Manny Mua
But I feel like it never ends.
Cecily
Well, it doesn't. Just doesn't stop though. Like, at the end of the day, it's like if people don't.
Manny Mua
Maybe I'm wrong about that.
Cecily
Well, if someone doesn't like you for something, they're going to keep not liking you for something.
Manny Mua
Damn.
Cecily
They're going to keep not liking you. And at the end of the day, if you have. If you stay relevant and you stay in that limelight, then you're going to keep getting on.
Manny Mua
You're right.
Cecily
That's just the real. That's just the way of the world. But yeah, that. The whole black PJ thing, I thought was blown. We had a proportion, by the way.
Manny Mua
I thought it was blown out proportion also. I was, I literally saw with my own eyes tik toks of people calling her some real up names. Like just like dirty, nasty names. And I was like, see, this is where I think you're wrong. I think you're wrong.
Cecily
Yes. They like take everything way too far. Yes.
Manny Mua
Like calling her. Her like these crazy.
Cecily
She's like probably a horrible mom or something.
Manny Mua
Yes. Like all kinds of crazy names. Like, I mean, just dogging her. And I was like, you guys, for what?
Cecily
For PJs. PJ, she's not forcing you to buy them PJs.
Manny Mua
That's why I'm like, see now, now I.
Cecily
Now you're like, the Internet does.
Manny Mua
Yes. I'm like, girl, you can relate because.
Cecily
You'Re like, damn, girl, like you shredded for no reason.
Manny Mua
I think I always have empathy. But I also have been through in. So I've used. So we, like, see things a little more for what they are versus, like, the Internet's versions of what they want you to believe they are.
Cecily
That's why, like, I just can't believe, like, what the Internet says about something until I, like, see it, get it by myself, deep dive it a little bit.
Manny Mua
You're like, okay.
Cecily
And then I'm like, okay, well, so this is what y'all were saying, but this is not what's actually the truth is. That's just the story that's being that y'all built up. You all built that. And I'm like, that's what the Internet did. But I know what, like, how I feel about something because of, like, going.
Manny Mua
Through their own shit. I was talking and I was. I was saying. I was talking to some people and I was saying how, like, when me and you went through drama, we remain best friends. But because we were both in drama online, I remember we were to the point where, like, we can't post each other anymore.
Cecily
Oh, yeah. We were, like, taking a break when we came back.
Manny Mua
Do you remember? We were like, we can't. People don't want to see us together. But we'll just be behind the scenes friends and like it online. We just won't be. We won't show it. And, like, that can be that. And then I was laughing because I was like. And now we have a podcast.
Cecily
Like, one extreme, Actual extreme extreme, to the complete other end of the extreme, from, like, not showing each other at all to, like, everybody. Yes, literally. But again, like, because when you're in the storm, things feel different.
Manny Mua
It's true.
Cecily
At the end of the day, things feel different. You're trying to just figure out what's even going on. You feel like you're in the fire. You don't even know what the to think. And then you move on and you're like, oh, maybe I could have done this differently. I could have done this better. I could have done this. Like, this was like, something stupid. I should not have done that. You think about that. All. All that's hindsight.
Manny Mua
It's. Honey, that's called learning.
Cecily
You learn and you learn. Like, all those other experiences, you learn a lot of that along the way. All you can do is just move forward and try to be better versions of yourself. At the end of the day, if you went through something like that, you don't learn. Then you're like, damn, you're just a mess. Then you're Just a mess.
Manny Mua
Y.
Cecily
But you try, like, what you try to do, I. I would hope as a creator, too, is like, just move forward in the best way you can and be just authentic Tick.
Manny Mua
Yeah. You know, I have a question for you. We've learned so much. So our perspective's a little different than our perspective years and years ago, but. Okay, so a person who had talked ugly about Cecily multiple times on her page. I don't know if she's a drama channel or she sometimes has commentary. I don't remember the girl's name, but apparently they went in and canceled her order because they saw that she did an order of the pajamas. Obviously she's gonna review. Review them. She doesn't really want the pajamas. And I mean, I'm sorry, but like, no, the review is going to be bad. You know what I mean? So they canceled her order. Would you have done that? A drama channel that shits on you all the time, you're. You're in trouble. And you see that drama channel, this person, I don't think was an exact drama channel. They had just, you know, commentated on a lot of drama. And you see the order go through for Lunar Beauty and you're like this, are you going to cancel their order? What are you going to do?
Cecily
I'm going be real.
Manny Mua
I'm going to be really tempted, too.
Cecily
I'm going to be so tempted, I'm going to want to cancel it so bad just to be a petty ass. I'm going be. I would want to be like this, cancel. But the thing is, if I'm confident in my product, I'm confident in my.
Manny Mua
Thing, it doesn't matter. They're going to give you a bad review.
Cecily
You know what? And that's fine. Because at the end of the day, if they want to give me a bad review, then they're going to give me a bad review. That's just. It is what it is. If people buy the shit and they see it and they're like, oh, I actually really like it, then who looks like the idiot then? Yeah, it's them. Because it's like, oh, you were just trying to on purpose. I've had people shouting my on me for so, so, so long that at the end of the day, I'm not gonna control what you can do. What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take your money. I'm. I can't control what you. How you feel. I'm gonna go ahead and let that. I'm gonna let that go through. So for Me.
Manny Mua
That's right.
Cecily
It's hard because I do want to, like, I would want to cancel it because just like, more the sake of like my own, for my ego of it. But at the end of the day, it's like, I think that her canceling.
Manny Mua
It made it worse. It definitely perpetuated it.
Cecily
It creates more of an issue.
Manny Mua
It perpetuated because then it looks like.
Cecily
Damn, you're just like petty as.
Manny Mua
Because then the girl went and did multiple tiktoks that they canceled to order. And then it went around, oh, they're canceling people's orders to keep good reviews. And I was like, oh, God.
Cecily
So that, so that. So I would rather have the other end of it being like, oh, like, I just didn't like the quality. I don't like the quality of this. Instead of the constant perpetuation of like, damn, you can't take criticism.
Manny Mua
And this is where they're gonna learn. You just gotta take your beatings.
Cecily
You take your.
Manny Mua
You take your beatings and then you.
Cecily
Hopefully as things progress and you move forward, people will be like, oh, damn. Like, I actually really liked your.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
And like they were just clearly just talking it. Because I've literally been on the ends of that where, like, I've had people buy things just for the sake a review. It didn't like it in the review, but people will be like, the quality is actually really sickening.
Manny Mua
Yeah.
Cecily
And I'm like, great, okay, well, you bought it. Like, at the end of the day, I still cashed your check, babe.
Manny Mua
No refunds that was collected. I would let them buy it, but not allow them to give a refund.
Cecily
Maybe as a small business, you know.
Manny Mua
You may get a refund. Sorry, but you had to pay. You had to pay for that review.
Cecily
What about you? What would you do?
Manny Mua
I would cancel their order and block them on all social media accounts. I'm just kidding. That's what I would want to do.
Cecily
That's what I'm saying.
Manny Mua
Like, that's what I would want. Okay. Back then. I can't even say what I would do back then.
Cecily
I'm thinking about me now.
Manny Mua
Yeah, I'm thinking about me now for sure. No, I'm like, I'll take the. I'll take the bad review. Yeah, I'll take the L. Like, if I were in some hot and people were like, I. I would not cancel the order at all. Cuz see, we already know the song and dance though.
Cecily
Like, I know how I don't blame.
Manny Mua
Cecily and them for canceling the Order. Because like in your mind you haven't experienced this before.
Cecily
And they're like, oh shit, let's make sure that.
Manny Mua
Save ourselves the drama. No, no, the complete opposite. You can't do it. Anything, babes. You can't.
Cecily
Because honestly, what if that girl did review on it and it didn't like do that good, like flopped. What if it flopped? But if she talks about it, multiple videos of why you canceled your order, that's a whole nother.
Manny Mua
Like, and then they're gonna perpetuate that.
Cecily
And now it's like, oh damn, you're just canceling everybody's order.
Manny Mua
Yeah, and now it turns into they're canceling everyone's order.
Cecily
Like, what if people, what if people received it and they did a review on it and they really enjoyed it?
Manny Mua
Well, that girl wasn't gonna.
Cecily
I know, but like, but imagine other people doing that and reviewing it and they're like, oh, I actually like it.
Manny Mua
I should have bought them and review reviewed them. I would have given her a true non biased review.
Cecily
Yeah, but think it's because she's in the fire.
Manny Mua
I'm not allowed to say I like it. Cuz then I would get ripped. Do you see how this works online? Yes.
Cecily
Oh, you're just defending her.
Manny Mua
Yes, that's how online works, honey.
Cecily
You leave that b.
Manny Mua
So you tell me I can't review the Cecily's pajamas.
Cecily
That's what I'm telling you. No, we literally. Our next episode, we're in the pajamas. We know our PJ episode. We're in the pajamas.
Manny Mua
I'm gonna see if she's got some left. Let's go ahead and write that down for the mems. Let me get.
Cecily
What if we just wear.
Manny Mua
I will just to support this because then it's.
Cecily
At the end of the day, it's.
Manny Mua
Like she made a red dime.
Cecily
Because at the end of the day, like again, Growing Pains you love and you learn. Like, this is obviously a tough thing.
Manny Mua
She did not think it's popcorn drama.
Cecily
And honestly, she didn't know that her audience was reacting. If she did, she, she wouldn't have done it. Like, let's think, let's really be active thinkers here. If she knew she was gonna be shredded for a 90 pajamas, she would not have created $90 pajamas.
Manny Mua
She would have never.
Cecily
She not done it, you guys.
Manny Mua
She did it.
Cecily
No, she just thought, oh well, they're really expensive to make, so we have to make them this price. That's the reality.
Manny Mua
Let's see. I can't even find the Website. You don't think.
Cecily
Oh, no.
Manny Mua
Oh, it's the letter 4.
Cecily
Like, 4.
Manny Mua
Turns out it's for the mems. I know these domains are really hard to own. To own, honey, you gotta get quirky.
Cecily
And this.
Manny Mua
Okay, now they. 75 each. They are cute. I would like them.
Cecily
You're like, I actually would love to put.
Manny Mua
And look, you can tell it's a small business. They're, like, standing in a little room with themselves. They're the models themselves.
Cecily
Am I too? Am I. Would I be too big for them?
Manny Mua
No, I don't think you'd be too big. Let me see if they have. Let me see if they have triple X. They don't. They only have extra small through large.
Cecily
I don't think I can fit that.
Manny Mua
Also, there was a huge problem with the size guide, too. She got wrecked because of her size guy.
Cecily
Damn. Again, this is all small business, which is so sad. But, like, the sad reality is that when you are a creator at that size and that level and you're coming out with the business, all your T's got to be crossed.
Manny Mua
And she's. She learned that.
Cecily
And she probably learned that.
Manny Mua
She learned that the hard way. And she's going to continue learning. I have a feeling she's absolutely.
Cecily
That's what it is. You have to just keep moving. You just have to keep, like, learning and evolving and figuring out what it is and being in tune. Tune. Thinking, active.
Manny Mua
And then lastly, wicked.
Cecily
Oh, yeah, you guys. This was like an easy, soft one. But, like, have you guys seen the shreddery that Ariana said they have been going through for crying in all their interviews?
Manny Mua
I'm gonna say, listen, it's tough to watch when you get to, like, the 10th interview and they're still doing it, like, because it's not just, like, tearing up and just like, a sad moment. Like, it's a full, like, thing. And like, they. They're not. Not getting into the interviews where it's just like, let's talk about the movie. It's just like, it has to be like a very.
Cecily
Stop it. Yeah, don't look at me like that. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I know exactly what.
Manny Mua
And I understand that happening, but it just happened in, like, every interview where it's kind of like, it was a lot of theatrics.
Cecily
Yeah. And the thing is, like, do you know what's funny? Part of me, like, really thought. I'm like, this is a marketing play.
Manny Mua
I don't know.
Cecily
I don't think it is. I don't Think it is. But part of me and just naturally as a creator, I'm like, is this marketing relationship? I think, I think it's their relationship. I think that they're emotional about being in the movie. Truly. Ariana literally was like Elphaba when she was 2 years old. Like she, like that was her dream role of her life and she got it. So I think she's just gonna be emotional. Cynthia's same thing. They're just like kind of like they seem like two birds of a feather. Like they're cut from the same cloth. They both give me that same kind of.
Manny Mua
How about them getting 10 matching tattoos?
Cecily
I didn't know that. That I did not know. No. I'm going to have to look. Why have we got to matching tattoo?
Manny Mua
It's cuz I quit getting tattoos after my tramp stammer. 1. You don't have a bad tattoo. Do you have one tattoo you'd regret if you have one tattoo you had to get rid of? Which one would it be?
Cecily
Probably the finger one.
Manny Mua
Yep. He regrets that one.
Cecily
I don't regret it.
Manny Mua
He regrets that one.
Cecily
I don't regret it.
Manny Mua
He regrets that one.
Cecily
But I love all my. All my tattoos. But since this is my first one, it's my smallest one. I'm like, this is when I would notice the least.
Manny Mua
I don't even know that you have that you forget.
Cecily
