Manny
Liberty. Liberty, Liberty. Liberty. It's not breathing, it's actually stuffing.
Laura Lee
Why am I watching ads for an app that I have to pay for?
Manny
I'm mansplaining energy. We're willing.
Laura Lee
We are.
Manny
Did you ever watch one, Grace?
Laura Lee
Of course.
Manny
How is that even a possibility?
Laura Lee
Let me tell you.
Manny
Hey guys, welcome back to Full Coverage, Your favorite podcast with your hosts, Manny
Laura Lee
Mua and Laura Lee. And we have a lot of amazing topics to do.
Manny
We have tea.
Laura Lee
We have tea.
Manny
Tea. We have tea.
Laura Lee
Tea.
Manny
You guys, we're gonna do rapid fire today and just shoot the shit because we are still, still out of the studio and we are in a different studio today.
Laura Lee
That's right.
Manny
This is the studio though.
Laura Lee
This is. I'm sorry, we are in our second home from home studio, honey.
Manny
And also, like, I feel like I look so sickening here that I like filming here. You know what I mean? Listen, like, this is, this is elite.
Laura Lee
This is, this is beauty lighting. That's what I like.
Manny
I feel very Beauty and Grace in Missing United States.
Laura Lee
Will and Grace.
Manny
Yeah. Laura.
Laura Lee
Uh huh. We're fucking willing to.
Manny
We are. Did you ever watch Will and Grace?
Laura Lee
Of course.
Manny
Okay, see, I didn't when I was younger because of the fact that you were gay. Gay and homophobic. I was not homophom.
Laura Lee
He was a gay, homophobic. He was growing up. It was really, really gay.
Manny
So I was like, no, I literally just never watched it because it was like, it was like very obviously gay. So I'm like, oh, I can't watch that.
Laura Lee
Obviously coming too close to the sun.
Manny
I was flying way too close. I was orbiting like the moon, people, right now.
Laura Lee
Speaking of which, I need to address something. So I think like two to three part podcast ago, you tell this full story on how you and your mom went on a trip with Drew Barrymore to Santa Barbara, no less. Let's. So, okay, so May is telling this illustrious story about how him and his mom went on this gorgeous trip to Santa Barbara with Drew Barrymore. Your mom loves flower beauty more so much with flower beauty. And I was like, manny, that was me. That was me. That wasn't your mom. That was me. Me and you went on a trip with Santa Barbara Drew Barrymore. And he's like, oh, my God, I must have remembered that wrong. So. So then I'm going through my phone because it's his birthday, which we're gonna talk about that too, but it's his birthday. And I'm like, let me post some throwback mani pics. And so I saw, like, me and him on the trip with Drew Barrymore. I'm like, so cute. And I see this gorgeous model woman in the corner of the picture. And I was like, who is that? I zoom in. It's fucking Greca.
Manny
It was my mom, you guys. We had to clear this up because so she said to me, she's like, bitch, your mom was.
Laura Lee
I was like, bitch, your mom was on the trip.
Manny
You guys. I did remember, right? But the thing is, Laura was there too. We both, like. They were both there.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny
So I was. I don't know how we. We swung that, but we swung it,
Laura Lee
and it was sickening, let me tell you. You must have pulled some Street 18 posts.
Manny
My mom loves.
Laura Lee
Yes.
Manny
Loves Drew. So that we figured out. But, yeah, she actually was there. How funny is that? But your birthday.
Laura Lee
Your birthday.
Manny
Birthday. Yeah. So that is my peak. My birthday is my peak. It was just fun because it ended up being, like, a really fun day because we actually celebrated with one of our other close friends, Z, whose birthday's on the 9th. So it was nice to, like.
Laura Lee
It was fun to combine our birthdays
Manny
because I've never done that in my whole life was combine our birthday with any of my friends, because I never had friends that were close to my birthday. So it was so nice to be able to, like, do something together. So we went to dinner at Isabel, which was so stunning.
Laura Lee
Yezabel.
Manny
Yes. Is it Yezabel? Jezebel.
Laura Lee
It's Jezebel.
Manny
It's Jezebel. No. Is it Weisel? Isabel? Isabel. Oh, it's like, very like, yeah, maybe it's Isabel. Who knows? And it was great. So we went to dinner there, and then we actually did an escape room afterwards. And it was a magic themed. We were all wizards.
Laura Lee
Like Harry Potter, girl. It was, like, inspired by Harry Potter.
Manny
It was because they had, like, a sorting hat. They had, like, a wand. Like, everyone had their own wand, and it was magnetized.
Laura Lee
They all had their own capes.
Manny
So it activate. Shit.
Laura Lee
I know. There's lice in the cake,
Manny
Laura, you literally have to shave your head.
Laura Lee
We are trauma one. Time I got lice. You got lice before in elementary school?
Manny
No. You fucking did.
Laura Lee
The whole school was ramsacked with lice.
Manny
Wait, so how do you get rid of. Is this a shampoo that you use for lice? I've never gotten lice before.
Laura Lee
It was horrific. But I remember.
Manny
So you had bugs crawling in your hair?
Laura Lee
I. Yes. No. Yes. And they lay eggs. And I remember being so happy when I saw one crawl. Cause I remember seeing it in my peripheral. I was like, mama, I got a lice. And so I remember you were happy about that because I had to go to school for a few days. Didn't have to. I remember I had bug. Remember specifically seeing it and being like, fuck, yes, let's go.
Manny
You see the fucking spiders crawling out of your head?
Laura Lee
You're like, lice, lice, lice, lice, lice, lice.
Manny
Of course, when you're a child too, you're like lice. Like scared they can move through it quickly.
Laura Lee
Yeah, I think so.
Manny
But you know what's funny? They always make it seem like you have to be like really dirty to get lice. But I think you're right. I think that it's easier for lice to move through clean hair.
Laura Lee
Cause they like clean hair. Yeah. So that's. It's the opposite. Yeah, they're like, ooh.
Manny
Like those dogs in the show that are like, this is nice. Through the follicles.
Laura Lee
That's literally doing in my head. So, baby, don't get lice. But if you want to get it, miss a few days of school, whatever. Honestly, A few days of work. Few days. I haven't heard of license forever.
Manny
Is that for adults?
Laura Lee
I think if you have hair, you can get. That's why they say don't try on hats in like stores and like throws. Oh, yes.
Manny
Would I imagine.
Laura Lee
I imagine license every single hat.
Manny
No, I do.
Laura Lee
Yes, you do.
Manny
I do not try those on. I literally. It reminds me of like crabs in your pubes. Is that not. Is that not lice?
Laura Lee
I never dealt with that.
Manny
Okay, but like, I'm like. I don't. It's the same thing. Oh, my God. So. So crabs are.
Laura Lee
Call it crabs though, because they look little crabs. Do they?
Manny
Yes, lice look like little crabs.
Laura Lee
I'm looking up.
Manny
Look it up. We're going to show you a lice. We're going to show you a crab.
Laura Lee
Show you.
Manny
Show them a crab. It doesn't make sense.
Laura Lee
You have to.
Manny
They know because they're going to show up. A crustacean.
Laura Lee
Lice insect.
Manny
Lice insect.
Laura Lee
License hair. Oh, they do look like crabs, Tyler.
Manny
They look like crabs, dude. That's what they look like.
Laura Lee
Disgusting.
Manny
Actually, we're not gonna show you guys because it's honestly sick.
Laura Lee
I remember I had to like put my pillowcase and blankets on. Like you had to tie everything off. This like cloth that you would laid your head on in a plastic bags to suffocate. Yes. Like everything. Wash it and then you had to tie it off.
Manny
I did not know this is like a whole.
Laura Lee
But you know, I haven't heard of license forever, so I wonder if it doesn't exist.
Manny
They definitely.
Laura Lee
You think it was like of the early 2000s.
Manny
I think it's definitely going around. But we don't have children.
Laura Lee
Oh.
Manny
So we wouldn't really know about that world. Because I feel like it's more of an elementary school, like junior high, like ransack. Because the kids are all together kids, man. It's. I just know. But honestly, how does a lice start a lice outbreak? How does it start?
Laura Lee
Who brought the lice?
Manny
And how do you like get the first one you're rolling in the dirt?
Laura Lee
Must try not hats at first. Trying on those damn hats at three.
Manny
This is crazy. The idea of lice is actually really crazy. Cuz it's literal bugs. Bed bugs that live in your hair.
Laura Lee
How did we get here, Manny?
Manny
I don't know. It's really dark. We're talking about my birthday. I'm. I'm pissed. I'm pissed about this trail.
Laura Lee
How.
Manny
How did we get here? It was the talking about lice. I was like, how did we get here? No, but anyway, it was really, really great. I had such a lovely, lovely birthday and I loved it.
Laura Lee
So. Okay. That's what we wanted.
Manny
And it was great. And my parents came up too. My brother, my Nick came up and my parents came up the next day to celebrate with me. So it was just nice to be around family. And they were up and then they left. So very chill weekend.
Laura Lee
I love that. Okay, so I finished my confidence book. I think it's a fantastic book. I think if you are struggling in that category of confidence or you just feel like there's no area of your life, you really are confident. I think this would be a really good book for you because it goes through like a bunch of different steps to get there.
Manny
Maybe I need it.
Laura Lee
Let's go ahead and get. Let's go ahead and get that for you, babe.
Manny
I'm gonna get that rolling. Cause I have my moments where I'm
Laura Lee
like, no, it really is very, very profound. And she's, like, one of my favorite writers. And I also like that her books are not thick as like, a. You know, like, they're quick. They really are a quick read. So it was fantastic. Now, I started because I love, you know, I love a memoir. Is the David. Is David Goggins book a memoir, would you say? I don't know if it's a memoir, but it's about his life story, so I guess that's a memoir. It's a book called Can't Hurt Me. It has hundred. Hundreds of. Hundreds of thousands of reviews on it.
Manny
Really?
Laura Lee
It is. So. But if you type in the word can on Kindle, it pops up first. Like, it is.
Manny
It's popping. Yeah.
Laura Lee
So many people, like, talk about the book all the time. So that intrigues me. I'm like, okay, I want to, like, see what this is about, you know, because I like to flip back and forth between memoirs and self help. So I started it last night because I like to read before I go to bed.
Manny
You blacked out. You blacked out.
Laura Lee
You can't read these. You can't exactly. You can't read it before bed because
Manny
you're gonna stay up. Yeah, trust me. I know what you mean.
Laura Lee
I'm like, close the book. Turn it off. But also, it was. It was not triggering me. That's not the right word. It was traumatizing me. Because he opens the story with his childhood and the abuse he suffers, and he goes into great detail of what abuse him, his mother and his brother suffered at the hands of his dad and how they literally, literally escaped. So, I mean, that is just, like, your job. Oh, it's. It's so horrible. So I will say, if you're triggered by anything like that, I. I don't know that this book is for you, but I think it's fantastic someone can tell their story and, like, 100.
Manny
Because he's also from the South.
Laura Lee
He is from. Where is he from?
Manny
Isn't he from this? I could have sworn. I'm thinking of one of his characters.
Laura Lee
Who?
Manny
One of his characters. I'm thinking, like, from Righteous Gems. You guys, he's from the South. He's from the South. He's literally a Southern man in Righteous Gemstones. I'm wrong. I'm thinking the baby. Billy.
Laura Lee
You think?
Manny
You guys.
Laura Lee
Oh, my God. No. David Goggins. Wait, do you know who David Goggins?
Manny
Time I've been thinking. I don't know who that means.
Laura Lee
He's, like, considered one of the world's, like, strongest men.
Manny
I've never seen that man in my life.
Laura Lee
Oh, my God. I'm literally thinking that he's talking about Walter Goggins the whole time, which, by the way, I just listened to, like, his life story on a podcast as well. So the Goggins.
Manny
I love a Goggin.
Laura Lee
May thought I was talking about a different person the whole damn time.
Manny
I really did.
Laura Lee
I fear that's really dark that that happened.
Manny
But see, okay, New York now. Buffalo, New York. I was like, yeah.
Laura Lee
I was like, he's not from the South. Okay, so he's from Buffalo, New York. But anyways, the story is. I'm only on the first chapter, so I don't know how it develops, but it's crazy. It's crazy.
Manny
I just, like. I love when there's a book that really fascinates you enough to be like, really, like, you're like, okay, wait, close the book because I can't sleep kind of vibes.
Laura Lee
Yes. Yeah. It's rare. It's rare to find books that are like that captivating. But they open it really well because he opens it with what a picture perfect life. They have, like, in the 80s growing up, and they live in a rich neighborhood, and they have a rich house, and everything's suburban and perfect. So you're like, okay. And then he's like, but at night, when the lights go. And it was just girl. So he knows how. Like, whoever wrote it. A ghostwriter. He wrote it. I don't know. I'm assuming he wrote it, but they know how to tell a story. They know how to tell.
Manny
He probably had, like, a ghostwriter who's writing his actual story, though. So it's like they know everything about him, but they're writing it, you know,
Laura Lee
because the way it's written is just very profound and like, whoa.
Manny
Whoa. Really?
Laura Lee
Whoa. Yeah. Really dark.
Manny
That actually feeds into my pit because I just finished the last book of the series I was reading and that. And I literally. The next day afterwards, I literally felt like, well, I have nothing to look forward to. You know, what's so crazy? So when I talked about my stories, a lot of people respond to it saying that it's called a book hangover. Have you heard this term?
Laura Lee
Oh, no, I haven't.
Manny
I was. I've never heard this term before ever, ever, ever. And they're like, oh, the book hangover got you. And I was like, what is this book Hangover. So apparently it's a term where when you finish a series and you feel, like, kind of, like, depleted or kind of, like, sad that you don't have something anymore, it's called, like, a book hangover, which I didn't know that was even a thing. But I just finished my whole Acotar series, and I feel like a void because I don't have any.
Laura Lee
You guys should recommend to Manny another, like, really good, popular series. They're gonna be like Twilight.
Manny
Twilight. No, Actually, you know what I got after I said that on my stories? I got a lot because Sarah J. Maas, she writes other, you know, stories not similar, but, like, you know, in a way that same kind of world. So she read. She. She has another two that I think are called, like, Crescent City and then Throne of Glass. So those are, like, the other two. And then I keep hearing about Fourth Wing. I don't know if you ever heard of the fourth wing. Fourth Wing is another, like, story that has a couple books. So I keep hearing about that too. So let me know what you guys think of the three Donald Glass, Crescent City, Fourth Wing. That I should start next of, like, a series, because luckily, the. The sixth book of the Acotar series comes out in October.
Laura Lee
Okay.
Manny
And the seventh comes out next year.
Laura Lee
So there's two more coming.
Manny
So there's two more coming. I at least look forward to the fact that they're, like, coming. It's not over, and that's not over. But honestly, what's crazy is that the fifth book ended up being, like, one of my favorites, which is so unique that you can, like, have a book that's, like, several. That it gets better. So I was really, really stoked about that. So I'm. That's my pit is that fact that I literally, I'm without right now. So now I just have to, like,
Laura Lee
build Legos and watch tv.
Manny
Let me tell you something. I have gotten a lot of Legos for my birthday.
Laura Lee
We know what you love.
Manny
So excited. Because I have multiple botanicals.
Laura Lee
So fun. And then, Nick, you have to space it out. You can't back do back to back. Then you'll, like, be like, yeah, yeah. You have to indulge in them too. Like, you have to be ready for Lego. Yes. You have to be ready for that LEGO moment. Be like, I want to build one. And then you go pluck off the shelf. The one you're committed to.
Manny
Percent like, which one I can actually commit to right now. There's one that have, like, a small I have like the cuter, smaller ones that are. The botanicals are easier. I can do that one sitting like three hours and I'm good. Nick got me one that is an entire, like scenery.
Laura Lee
Oh, picture of it.
Manny
I'm sending you a photo of it. And it's like a Japanese blossom frame. So it's like a frame build out and it's like hella pieces. Way more.
Laura Lee
It's good. That one's going to take you.
Manny
That would take several days.
Laura Lee
You need to get the tray that I have so you can move it off your bed. It's like a. It's like a felt tray. So this is gonna slide around.
Manny
I'm look for that.
Laura Lee
And we have it so we can do puzzles, Legos, and then just like move it out of the way when we're.
Manny
So you can let it be. Okay.
Laura Lee
Love that.
Manny
I need that.
Laura Lee
Yeah. Amazon, Amazon, Amazon.
Manny
I'm using.
Laura Lee
I love that.
Manny
So that. I love. I love a Lego.
Laura Lee
Love a Lego.
Manny
I just finished one. Essence actually sent me one for my birthday. It was the Lego bouquet. And so I built that one over the week with my family. I was like, everyone gets a fucking flower.
Laura Lee
It's fun to build it with people too.
Manny
It's so fun because everyone's like this.
Laura Lee
It's like a group activity. And you can't fuck up because one fuck up, you eventually find it. Cause it's step by step by step. Yeah.
Manny
And it's quite meticulous. It is some of the flowers. I was like, I'm gonna.
Laura Lee
We did my Porsche, Lego Porsche that's up there. And I think it took me and Ty almost two weeks. No, it was over. It was like thousands and thousands of pieces. And you had to build a full engine. You had to build the car seats, the steering wheel. Like every. Like the thing will crank and drive. Like, pretty much like it has every part.
Manny
I didn't even know it could be that. That take that. But I mean, it makes sense.
Laura Lee
Hydraulics in the tire. Like, it was crazy. Like, it's an actual car that we build. It's not like hollow. Like you can lift the trunk and see the engine. It's cool.
Manny
I love that.
Laura Lee
They're so cool. But also my pit is that I just have a badass zit on my lip right before coach. And I haven't had a zit on my lip in like 20 years.
Manny
I literally. Joyce, she's like, I have a love of my lip. She's lip liner. And I'm like, I can't see. And then she turned. I'm like, I can see. I can see it.
Laura Lee
I'm gonna try to not touch it. And I told me. I was like, let me just let it breathe.
Manny
And I go, so you're gonna let it breathe with lip liner, lipstick, and lip gloss all over it? Let it breathe, though.
Laura Lee
She's like, it's, like, dripping in product. I'm, like, letting it breathe.
Manny
It's not breathing. It's actually suffocating underneath that lip. It is, actually, but, you know. Okay. Do you. Have you guys ever noticed this before? Like, let's say you have a pimple coming on, so you put, like, concealer on top of it, and then once you take the concealer off, it's like, whitehead.
Laura Lee
Yeah. It's like, ready to go.
Manny
It's, like, ready to go. Sometimes, like, it baked it. Almost like, baked it.
Laura Lee
It. It's disgusting.
Manny
It's sick. But, like, I kind of like it because I'm like, okay, just activate it quicker. It almost, like, gets it going faster so I can get rid of it quicker.
Laura Lee
So I'm like, maybe that's what will happen. I doubt it, though.
Manny
I don't think.
Laura Lee

Because we have Coachella, you guys. We have Coachella this weekend. Like coming up more. Very excited. You know what's funny? People were literally messaging me and they were like, did you guys say you were going to go?
Laura Lee
Yes. And I was like, I love that we lost a little moment.
Manny
Everyone's really like, I thought you guys said you weren't gonna go again. And I was like, I thought we said that too. But guess what? Do as we say, not as we do.
Laura Lee
That's right. I don't know if I Wait. No, that was right. Do as we say, not as we do.
Manny
Hello. We're. And we're doing.
Laura Lee
We're doing. We always do.
Manny
We somehow.
Laura Lee
We always do. We like to. We just like the drama. Pretending we're not gonna go, but we always do.
Manny
We just. So I'll go. But you know what? It's cuz when we're done going and we're like, I can't do that again.
Laura Lee
No, I can't. It's cuz we're off the heels of Coachella. We're like, we can never leave our house ever again.
Manny
I can't depress.
Laura Lee
And then we do it again.
Manny
A year is long enough.
Laura Lee
It is a year to forget the pain and suffering.
Manny
Yes.
Laura Lee
You know what I mean?
Manny
But they say it's going to be cold tonight this year.
Laura Lee
And that's going to be A problem for me.
Manny
Oh, it's going to be even a problem for me because I have one of my. One of my outfits is, like, shirtless, like, shorts,
Laura Lee
nothing else.
Manny
Not wearing nibble pasties. But one of them is more, like, skimpy, where it's, like, cut off and I have shorts on. So I'm like, that might be a frozen tundra for me.
Laura Lee
I think I'm just gonna literally go to the merch tent every night. I'm gonna come home with a Sabrina Carpenter hoodie, a Justin Bieber hoodie, and a Carol G pool outfit. I'm a full outfit for Carol G. Yes.
Manny
You know What? If we're 300 Swiss.
Laura Lee
$300, Justin Bieber.
Manny
You know what? If they were smart, they would hike up the price because they know it's me cold.
Laura Lee
Oh, they are going to. Oh, they're going to, honey. They're like, tees are 50 off any jacket or sweatshirt, baby. Triple the price.
Manny
Jackets, 100.
Laura Lee
Some Monopoly out there.
Manny
No, but. But people will pay that. Freezing.
Laura Lee
We are people. People.
Manny
We're people. So, yeah, I guess I'm gonna have to get a little cat's eye hoodie.
Laura Lee
Oh, yeah, we can do cat's eye.
Manny
I'm ready. I'm ready. That's like, who I really like. That's what I'm excited.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny
Who are you excited for? For Coachella. Like, who's your. Like, one that you're like, yes.
Laura Lee
You know
Manny
who's your number one?
Laura Lee
I'll be so fucking for real. I ain't got one. And it's not like, you know, like, I don't like Justin Bieber and I don't like Sabrina Carpenter. It's just, you got to think about this way. You go through so much to get there, so it has to be an artist. That's work going through all that. And I know everybody listening is like, hello, Justin Bieber. But you have to realize, I also grew up a little, little bit too old to be, like, a believer.
Manny
Oh, really?
Laura Lee
Yeah. Don't act shocked.
Manny
You stupid.
Laura Lee
You stupid.
Manny
Cause I'm Jason, too.
Laura Lee
He's like, oh, really?
Ad Voice
Really?
Laura Lee
I'm like, bitch, the fuck you too.
Manny
I was a believer. Down. You too.
Laura Lee
Like, baby, baby, baby. Oh, we were, like, grown up.
Manny
No, I was literally already a grown up.
Laura Lee
Yeah. So I feel like I, like, miss the craze.
Manny
I like Justin's songs. I actually do. There's a lot of them I do like. And I thought his new album was really, like, good. Really adult and very well done.
Laura Lee
I'm Only going to hear that song. That's my Baby.
Manny
She's iconic.
Laura Lee
Like, that's all I want to hear about Hailey.
Manny
But the thing is, I know damn well. I feel like, okay, in my bones, I feel like Justin's not going to sing his old songs.
Laura Lee
No, he's not. You're not getting. Baby, Baby.
Manny
I feel like we're going to hear.
Laura Lee
He's not singing that.
Manny
His new stuff, his adult stuff.
Laura Lee
There's no words, I promise you. He sings, and I just don't believe
Manny
he's into his old bangers. I just don't.
Laura Lee
He comes out in the full wig and outfit, the purple shirt, and he's like.
Manny
And I was like. And we're like that. I would. I would scream, though.
Laura Lee
I would scream. I would scream if he, like, clowned itself 100%. That would be really funny.
Manny
So I would definitely. I'm going to be excited for Cat's Eye.
Laura Lee
And then, yes.
Manny
Justin is like, obviously.
Laura Lee
No, there's one more. Okay, hold on.
Manny
I know. Also, Carol G. Is going to be sickening too. Like, it'll be, like, a great performance.
Laura Lee
Yes. Oh, yeah. She definitely gonna put on, like, a show.
Manny
She's gonna turn it out, which is gonna be really fun. Also, the thing is, I would say, like, oh, my God, I'm so excited to see Sabrina. I've seen Sabrina.
Laura Lee
That's the problem.
Manny
So many times.
Laura Lee
Fake it.
Manny
And that's why I'm not like, oh, my God, Sabrina.
Laura Lee
Like, the Strokes. Sorry, The Strokes.
Manny
The Stroke. Is that who you're excited to see?
Laura Lee
Yeah. Yeah. They have good music.
Manny
Okay.
Laura Lee
Period.
Manny
I probably have.
Laura Lee
They're really good. So I would love to see the strokes. They're like 9pm on the main stage.
Manny
Oh, great. Love it. So it'll be easier, like, for us to go see. I'm excited. I mean, I think it's just. It's a fun experience to go. Even if you're not like. Like feeding for one person. You know what I mean? Like, it's fun to just have the atmosphere, the vibes, because you can listen to all types of music randomly. They're just playing.
Laura Lee
And you can just experience in general. It really is. Because so much is happening. It's like, wait, it even goes beyond the music, which pisses people off. But it does.
Manny
Oh, it does.
Laura Lee
It just does. Like the food. It's the activations. It's all the people. Like, it goes beyond the music.
Manny
I want to get Denkies into Coachella, like, as a vendor.
Laura Lee
Yes.
Manny
So I'm trying to, like, Put that
Laura Lee
out there into the world. I think that'd be really cool to get my brother goddamn email, though.
Manny
Maybe I might need a. I'm gonna have to pull some type of. I don't know what kind of strings
Laura Lee
I got, but they're gonna be like, yeah, you can. Of course you can.
Manny
Yeah.
Laura Lee
For $100,000. Exactly. They're like, why, yes.
Manny
Yeah, sure.
Laura Lee
But you can figure it out. Okay, let's talk about Love Overboard.
Manny
Oh, yeah, let's talk about that real quick.
Laura Lee
So it's Alex Cooper. She's producing. It's like, executive producer. I didn't know that show.
Manny
She's everywhere.
Laura Lee
It's not everywhere.
Manny
She is everywhere.
Laura Lee
It's on Hulu. And it's basically what I like to describe it as, like, a mini short version of Love island, because it's kind of like the same premise, except for they're all on a boat. And basically, whenever you get on the show, if you don't get coupled up in the first episode, you have to live below the deck and you have to clean and, like, live in bunk beds, and it's really shitty. So there's incentive for you to try to go up to the top, steal someone's partner and get coupled up. And if you go on a date, then they have it set where you then have to pick between the person you went on a date with and the person you're coupled up with and
Manny
throw one of them overboard, like, off a plink.
Laura Lee
They bring in, like, the hotties. What do you call them on Love island, when they bring in. They bring in the bombshell, but it's
Manny
called something different in the show.
Laura Lee
Show premise. And then they have challenges where you can, like, get recoupled. So it is very like its own show, but it's like a mini version of Love Island.
Manny
If you like Love island, you'll like. This is basically what she's saying, too.
Laura Lee
I cannot talk about what happened in episode five because Manny's not there yet.
Manny
I'm only episode three, so I will
Laura Lee
not ruin it, because let me tell you something, you're going to gag. This gets so crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy.
Manny
So excited. Like, I literally cannot even tell you. Like, I. Now that I've watched the first three, it's almost like you have to watch. Like, you almost, like, have to keep watching. So that's why I wanted to bring it up to put you guys on a new, like, if you like Love island vibes, Love Overboard. And Gabby Wendy is actually the host of it.
Laura Lee
Yep.
Manny
On. On Hulu Disney plus, if you have Disney, I watch on Disney plus.
Laura Lee
So I, like, binged it all in two days, girl. Two days. Because it's just like that they. The cast they hired is wild.
Manny
Wild. There's this one girl that's like, the crier girl.
Laura Lee
Oh, I love her.
Manny
That.
Laura Lee
She's just a baby, man.
Manny
She. Episode one through.
Laura Lee
She cries until she goes home. The girl cries till she goes home.
Manny
I was cracking, but it cracks me
Laura Lee
up because it's just, like, the way she is. And it's very funny.
Manny
She's hilarious. She's actually enjoying her hilarious because she's literally, like, unwell.
Laura Lee
She has to get one of the girls together later in the episode. I was kind of proud of her.
Manny
I can't wait.
Laura Lee
Because they're like, you're crazy and manic. And then she finally, like, pops back on. I'm not, man.
Manny
It's like, you are. No, no. Yeah, you are. So, yeah, love aboard. I'm on episode three right now, so you guys need to get up on that.
Laura Lee
If you guys, like, y' all gotta get. Y' all gotta get in there.
Manny
I'm living. Honestly, I'm living so far.
Laura Lee
First of all, I want to know why the I'm paying ads for an app that I pay for. Hulu clock it. Why am I watching ads for an app that I have to pay for?
Manny
You watch ads on there? Yeah, I don't have ads on mine.
Laura Lee
You must pay, like, $80,000 a month. How much is the extra?
Manny
Because I'm thinking about. Because I'm thinking about the fact I just had Disney. The thing is, I have Disney plus, so it goes like. Hulu's included in Disney plus now.
Laura Lee
We do, too. But not ad free.
Manny
Maybe I do pay for ad free, and I don't know how much.
Laura Lee
What's the difference, babe?
Manny
What is it?
Laura Lee
Look that up.
Manny
No, look it up.
Laura Lee
We want to know my answer.
Manny
Because you know what? I. I'm done with your YouTube regular.
Laura Lee
Oh, it's bad.
Manny
So I'm ready for hulu. Sure.
Laura Lee
Do YouTube and Hulu. He's living large.
Manny
Hulu with ads is 9.99amonth. Oh, you're fine. Oh, without no ads is 18.99amonth.
Laura Lee
Double the price for no ads a month. Double 18.99. Ty, if you don't sign us up for that 18.99, I'm the right fucking dollar sign.
Manny
No, seriously, don't get crazy.
Laura Lee
You don't sign me up for 18.99amonth.
Manny
It's. It's worth It.
Laura Lee
I'm still pissed.
Manny
No, no, of course it's annoying. But, like, all the thing is, the problem is that all the services keep going up. Netflix keeps going up.
Laura Lee
Gas services, other services. Gas service.
Manny
That's a necessity. Gas. I was passing by Beverly Hills, was $7 a gallon.
Laura Lee
Almost eight. Premium.
Manny
Almost eight.
Laura Lee
It's like, it's like 798. You sell 798.
Manny
I saw something. I think you're right. Yeah. What the. Don't piss me off.
Laura Lee
Oh, no.
Manny
I'm already pissed.
Laura Lee
We're there, baby.
Manny
Let me tell you something. The Toyota activated.
Laura Lee
Yeah. That Jack the Jag is in the garage.
Manny
It is on lockdown. Is in the Kia Asylum.
Laura Lee
It is.
Manny
I, I, It's a Toyota time for me.
Laura Lee
It is. I might have to get a Toyota at this point.
Manny
It's time for the. It's time for a half hybrid at this point.
Laura Lee
It is.
Manny
What's. What's. Yeah, the hybrids. I, I love a hybrid car. Like, hybrid car was great.
Laura Lee
Is your car hybrid?
Manny
But I had one.
Laura Lee
You're like, baby, gas it up. Gas, gas, gas.
Manny
No, but hybrid was nice because it makes your, like, gas work harder.
Laura Lee
Of course.
Manny
You know what I mean? So it was really good. You fill up your gas less, and the energy would just keep it going.
Laura Lee
Yeah. These people know. I promise. You're like, I don't mind explaining it.
Manny
I'm mansplaining energy.
Laura Lee
He just mansplaining.
Manny
I'm like, yeah.
Laura Lee
So listen, a fucking hybrid car to you guys.
Manny
I don't know why I did that.
Laura Lee
Enough. Okay. Let's talk about the Mormonism.
Manny
Mormonism. Done.
Laura Lee
You know what's so crazy? I feel like I've been, like, unwillingly forced into all this Mormonism because growing up in Alabama, I've never heard. I didn't hear about Mormonism. We had different religions. I don't think so.
Manny
Really?
Laura Lee
They weren't knocking Jehovah Witness. We had Catholic, Baptist, Methodist. I mean, we had a lot of, like, different religions, but we just didn't have the Morms.
Manny
I bet they were there. They just weren't.
Laura Lee
Like they weren't there.
Manny
Maybe they weren't there. I don't. I really don't know.
Laura Lee
I'm telling you, I don't know how it was. They stay on the West Coast.
Manny
I don't know how it was all those years ago. You know, I'm not sure how it was. You know what I mean? I don't know.
Laura Lee
I feel like the Morms stay on the East, west coast or Utah West Coast. Utah's on the West Coast. This half of the United States is West Coast. You think California is.
Manny
The only thing that's west coast is mid coast.
Laura Lee
I think there's a mid coast, but Utah's definitely West Coast. Utah's right over here.
Manny
Wait, is Utah mid coast? I'm gonna show no West Coast.
Laura Lee
Utah's West Coast.
Manny
Okay, that's so funny, because in my mind, west coast is like Washington.
Laura Lee
So when all the rappers are talking about, like the West Coast. They're talking about Utah.
Manny
They're talking about Utah.
Laura Lee
Look how Utah is on the West Coast.
Manny
It is like so far in. You're right.
Laura Lee
Yeah, it's West Coast. I would say that's Middle America.
Manny
This is Central America.
Laura Lee
Yeah. And that's all this.
Manny
Oh, so even Alabama would be East Coast.
Laura Lee
Definitely. Alabama's definitely East Coast.
Manny
You know what? And I'm also thinking about it for the time zones too. That's probably how they do it. Like west coast time zone. The Pacific.
Laura Lee
Pacific.
Manny
And then there's like central time zone.
Laura Lee
Don't forget mountain. One time I left the mountain, I got pissed.
Manny
Wait, what?
Laura Lee
Talk about mountain time.
Manny
Don't forget Mountain time.
Laura Lee
I'm so sorry, Mountain.
Manny
I'm shocked. I did not know that would be considered West Coast. West coast customs for Utah.
Laura Lee
Yeah, that's where they get them.
Manny
Okay. Anyway, you guys, Mormon wives. Mormon wives. Secretizing Mormon wives. You know, we last episode. We like to. We'd like to do a little breakdown on everything. Also forgot to mention the fact that the reason it all activated because there was another claim on Taylor Bliss. That's how it started, Laura.
Laura Lee
That's right, because that's how it was a scratching. It was a scratching in the necklace. Yes. Oh, she choked him with the necklace.
Manny
It was the choke.
Laura Lee
That's how it started.
Manny
Activated it all. We were talking about everything, but like that was the one, the catalyst.
Laura Lee
So they brought back the old yes, from February 2022.
Manny
Just as a side note. But so Taylor, Frankie Paul, she actually posted recently that she's actually leaving the Mormon Church, which I thought was like,
Laura Lee
first of all, I was like, are you part of the Mormon Church?
Manny
Do they claim you?
Laura Lee
Girl, I don't think they're claiming.
Manny
Do they claim you?
Laura Lee
I don't know how much you're leaving,
Manny
but maybe they had already thought you left.
Laura Lee
Honey, the doormat.
Manny
They were like this.
Laura Lee
I see. After season one, they will cut your maybe being arrested at the beginning of season one. So I don't know if that's really scandal.
Manny
I Think maybe she was already. Probably already.
Laura Lee
Explicit forms are like, thanks.
Manny
They're like, why is that our type? Why is that their title of the show? No, literally, that's what they're thinking.
Laura Lee
I'm traumatized.
Manny
Okay. Literally. So Taylor. So she actually posted on her stories and she, she. This is what she says. I quote, born and raised Mormon, lds. And I'll always have love and respect towards it. I'll even continue to go with my family at times. With that being said, it's time to detach myself from it. I strongly believe in Christ, God and the Bible, the divine. I believe we are loved whether we are praying in church building or from a bathroom floor at home. I've also experienced grace and love from amazing people that aren't sure what they believe in at all. And that's okay too. Point being, there is more out there to learn. And I'm writing this out of a release, so I feel like the sentiment totally makes sense, obviously. And I always have said actually that you can believe in whatever you want from like your home. Like you can really just kind of feel however you want to feel about something. You don't have to go to church. The institution. Why are you giggling?
Laura Lee
Trees outside and it is so loud.
Manny
You guys. They're trimming the. Out of those trees. It's like right there. And it's like.
Laura Lee
It's bad. It's bad.
Manny
I don't think they'll be able to hear it in the mics.
Laura Lee
Okay.
Manny
But who knows at this point? Yoshi's also coming by. It's a whole. It's a whole smorgasbord. Yeah, but I've always said I really feel like you can be whatever religion you want to be and it doesn't have to be about going into like the institution of church or going into whatever it might be into a building. You don't have to go there to feel the feels that you feel. You know what I mean? Like, I think that you can have. Have all the spirituality you have from yourself and it's about your own connection with whatever you feel is your thing, your spiritual, higher up calling, you know? So I feel like, I respect that she posted that and like really is like, okay, I want to do my own thing, but at the same time it's like, I wonder why now. Yeah, part of me wonders, maybe, you
Laura Lee
know, maybe she, I mean, I don't know, I'm just guessing, but maybe she likes, like wanted more support from the Mormon Church. Or maybe she just realized, oh, a lot of my toxic Patterns has to do with Mormon beliefs because sometimes that happens within religion and like staying with men and things like that.
Manny
Like a cycle.
Laura Lee
Yeah. I mean, who knows? And maybe it was just like, oh, maybe this, like, maybe God. Which. It was clear in her message. She was like, I still believe in God, but like, the religion of Mormon is not for me.
Manny
Yeah, totally.
Laura Lee
And most people believe in what they are taught and what they grew up going to church and whatever their parents told them to believe and whatever religion their parents were part of, that's what most people belief. And a lot of time, if enough life happens to that person, then they tend to get their own identity and their own ideas and their own belief. So, you know, it's. It's an individual. Everybody's spirituality is an individual journey. So good for her, you know, Good for her. Like, do what you need to do. I didn't really consider her Mormon. Like, watching the show. I never got like. And I. I do think she believes in God, but I just think because, like, I have seen Mormon people in like, like, it was like.
Manny
It wasn't like that. It wasn't like that. But I do feel like there is definitely a different kind of culture in Utah. Mormonism. I would. Because a lot of people, they're really shocked when they hear that I grew up Mormon.
Laura Lee
But I'm like, why picture?
Manny
They like, they picture a very specific kind of man, you know, Very specific kind of man. But I'm like, you're thinking of, I think probably the Utah. The Utah Mormon, like, idea of what it is. But there's just so many different. Different types of people around. Obviously, like where you live, your situation, where you grow up depicts on like, your personality and how you are. But obviously you can be any religion anywhere. But there's almost like this kind of overarching idea of what a Mormon is from Utah. You know, there's almost like this thing. A Utah Mormon is different. Like San Diego.
Laura Lee
The Mormon church has been so upset over Housewives of Salt Lake and the Mormon Wife show because of what it depicts of Mormonism. And like, all the shows are surrounding it. So I think that's why they. They're like screaming inside.
Manny
Part of me feels that they record in Utah because they want that kind of like, caricature of the Mormon there. Because you wouldn't have that same experience filming that in California.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny
With Mormons. Like, you're not going to like, have that same thing. It's just like, it's a very different things because it's about the upbringing and like, the culture of the state. Not about like really the religion itself. So I think that goes throughout Mormonism, but I think goes out throughout a lot of different religions. Yeah, like every religion, you have the extremists in it. And that's when shit starts to get weird.
Manny
I don't give a fuck. It gets crazy. No, it gets crazy.
Laura Lee
I think she gets weird whenever it's like this extreme form. And I think in Utah, it's a little more of an extreme form of Mormonism.
Manny
I think it gets real spooky. I get a lot. Especially, like, obviously when I was. Look at how the men are. Look at how many crazy.
Laura Lee
This is an extreme, same insane version of Mormonism.
Manny
100. Like, they act insane. And it's like. You see, what I find, like, really, like, gross and disgusting is whenever I get, like, hate comments from people, and it's like, really, really intense hate. And then I go look at their page and it's like they have a Bible verse in their thing. And it's like, mom of three. And I'm like, oh, my God, this is so frustrating because it's like you almost use, like, being Christian as a weapon.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny
And it's like you're using it as something that it shouldn't be. You know what I'm saying? And that always really frustrates me because that, to me is not being, like, Christian or that's not being Godlike. It's like you're using that as, like, a crutch to be hateful. And that's not what, like, God is to me. You know what I'm saying? God isn't hateful. So it's like the idea of using religion as your amplifier to hate on people or what they believe in is like the absolute opposite of.
Laura Lee
I feel like, slowly but surely throughout, maybe the U.S. maybe the world, I don't know. But through social media and through connecting more people, because we're connected more now than ever, you know, through social media. I think, like, before in the past and maybe when we were growing up, you know, it was like, if you go to church or if you had that Bible verse, it was like, considered. You were like, holy. It was like, considered this, like, oh, you're a good person stamp in a way. But I don't think it holds to that truth and value anymore because of the old saying, like Manny was just saying. It's like as soon as you get Bible verse in the fucking profile, you're immediately like, oh, here we go, Here we go. You know, so it's like, like a lot of that has been flipped on its head because it's almost like a sign now because of the behavior. People from the church. It's almost the opposite now. And that's because constant communication is constantly sharing and showing and getting to know people more through social media. We're like, oh, we see things from out a little more for what they are. So I think times have changed. But honestly, good for Taylor now. Apparently TMZ like 3 minutes before we start filming said that Taylor was able to provide. She has a court case with Dakota due to the domestic violence. So they have a court case because she was arrested. But tmz, how does they get the police?
Manny
I don't know how tms he gets anything that they get. I think that they're paying people off. That's my opinion.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny
I feel like they're paying, like I say, a rogue police officer money to get information early. I think that's what they're doing.
Laura Lee
But they have pictures of scratches and bruises on Taylor that Taylor submitted through her lawyer for her. Her court case to prove that Dakota is also abusive.
Manny
Yes. And saying like, also submitted like sexting
Laura Lee
like crazy sex from Dakota.
Manny
So it's like she's trying to. I think she's trying to show that it's not just from her coming like that. It's not just toxicity coming from her end. And I think if you watch the show, you would know that wholeheartedly that's not coming.
Laura Lee
I think he has full custody of their child right now.
Manny
Yeah. Yeah.
Laura Lee
100 I think. Doesn't he? Because I know he won that. So I don't know what that looks like day in and day out for them. But knowing that I'm sure this place is gonna play a big part of her trying to get custody back of her child. It was very tit for tat on their relationship.
Manny
I was like, I feel like in the court of public opinion you would know that Dakota is toxic and that he is a toxic person as well. And that there is a cycle between them both. It's not just one sided, but I feel like it's. There's a. It's a whole different story of like actually legally proving that it's a both sided and it's like using these things like bruises and you know, text messages. I think that's just gonna obviously to help further her case that it's like, hey, it's not just me. I know I fucked up.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny
But it's not just coming from me. And that there's like definitely a. It's a two way street here. You know, there's toxicity on both sides, I think sometimes.
Laura Lee
And listen, I think some of our audience can relate to this because nobody's perfect. But I think sometimes this is a good lesson to learn. Like staying in a toxic relationship can take you as far as getting you into a court case, fighting for your fucking child and fighting for your life because you wouldn't let the toxic relationship go. Like that is where a toxic relationship that you won't let go. And sometimes it takes moments like, like losing a show, losing custody of your child, like at your lowest low, lose it. It took her. And I hate that this happened to her. I hate it.
Manny
Let her, let her hit.
Laura Lee
But sometimes it takes losing that much to understand. You need to get out of the relationship with Dakota. This is what it takes sometimes for people for that to like to hit rock bottom, to truly hit rock bottom with it. And I think people watching this should be a good learning lesson. If you're in a toxic that you keep going back to, this is where you'll eventually end up.
Manny
It's just honestly, like, like they say in the show too, it is a vicious cycle and it's something that's going to keep continuing if there is not one person that tries to break away from this circle that's happening, this infinity loop that's going on. So you really have to, you know, build up this strength to get away from a situation because it can lead to legal and just so many horrific things. I've heard so many stories too in real life of people being in toxic relationships that like, they really almost like fuck up their entire life because they'll decide to leave before they decide to leave. And it's like, see, you should have left when you saw the red flags.
Laura Lee
First, let's talk about how Jesse is speaking out a little more on her divorce. After her Call her Daddy episode. She did a TikTok recently just speaking out on where she's at mentally. I'm really glad that she's understanding that she has two divorces now under her belt. And that's okay, you can have three, who cares? But just understanding the pattern of how you're getting into these situations with this type of man, that's what I think is important to reflect on. She really seems like she is doing.
Manny
I feel like she understands that she has bad patterns and that she understands that she can get into a cycle again easily and that she, I mean, in the video she actually ends up saying that she's going on a four day mental health retreat, which I thought was really, really cool. Really interesting that she's like, I need to kind of detach a little bit, Step away and just kind of, you know, focus on yourself. And I feel like right now there's like this thing happening with what's his name?
Laura Lee
Marciano.
Manny
Marciano. Marciano. And they're like doing this kind of like they're doing videos together. They've been seeing together and I've been seeing some of that, like the other, the fellow wives being like, girl, this is like crazy. Like, how could you leave one man, one toxic man, for another toxic man? And it's like, I think that when you're in again, talking about the psycho situation, she had gotten into that relationship with her ex and she, you know, got over that quickly and then got with Jordan. And she was even saying that like the one with the forgery was even worse than Jordan. Can you even imagine?
Laura Lee
I can, I know.
Manny
Can you imagine that? But it's like, I think this is one of the things where it's like, I actually think it would be really beneficial for her. And I saw a lot of comments about this too, that it was like, if you just stayed single for a year, girl, and really focus on like your own mental health and like who you are without men. Because I think that also when you get into a relationship really young and it's a long relationship with involving children, it's hard to know who you personally are without the idea of being with a partner. And I think that's something that is so valuable and what's so great about people having, let's say, like kids later on in life, kind of realizing like, oh, this is like who I really am, what I really want. And when that happens, really, young people kind of sometimes go a little like, you know, crazy sometimes because it's like, oh, well, like they didn't get to live those lives that those years when they were young, figuring out who they were and then, you know, 20 years down the line they cheat and they have like midlife crisis, you know. So I think it'd be really beneficial for her to just take some time for herself, take the year off of dating and just like, like figure out who she wants to be for herself.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny
You know what I mean?
Laura Lee
I do feel like the video with her, Marciana, they were doing press and I think they were like filming some clips for like to launch something or like to promote something.
Manny
Totally.
Laura Lee
I did not feel like they were getting back together. I could Be dead wrong. But it's just like they were shooting Content together for the day. And like Marciano, like there's a group of boys in like La Marcian's one of them. Harry Jealousy is one of them and there's quite a few others. And they just go around doing things like this for press, like to keep their name out there. And like, like they do little reality TV shows all the time. I think there's like a good group of them.
Manny
Yeah.
Laura Lee
And like Marcion is just one of them. So I think they were probably just having fun together. Filming Content is what it seemed like to me. It didn't seem like she was trying to get back with him. But if anything at all, I just hope that it made Jordan not sleep for a week. That's all that I hope out of the situation. I just pray that like he lost sleep. I hope that he punched so mad. I hope he's so, so mad. And if she did it for anything,
Manny
let it be that that alone.
Laura Lee
Just let it be that. Also a video was released, a violent video of Jordan, who Jesse's one of her gay best friends. He also worked at her salon and was a very close colleague of hers. He walks up to Jordan, which is Jesse's gonna be soon to be ex husband. And this is the guy we've been fussing over for two episodes now. He walks over and shoves some birthday cake in his mouth. It's playful. Everybody's laughing, having fun. It wasn't a ton of cake. It was just like haha, like shove some smear cake. Jordan gets so fucking enraged. You should see the look on his face. He looked like he wanted to beat the shit out of someone.
Manny
It like honestly looked.
Laura Lee
It was sc.
Manny
Scary.
Laura Lee
It was so like you see him
Manny
like almost like turn into a different human.
Laura Lee
And he looked like he wanted to punch the guy. Other guy in the face. Who.
Manny
Well, he smacked him.
Laura Lee
He did. He smacked him. He took the biggest thing of cake and he smacked him so hard. But it was the look on his face, it was so scary. And I feel like that is the Jordan we haven't really seen. Although we know he's there. Like we know based off what we have seen, but it was just like seeing that. I know that's what Jesse has been dealing with.
Manny
Yeah. You know, she's just been dealing girl.
Laura Lee
We haven't seen she.
Manny
We have not seen anything. We haven't seen anything. And it's crazy because like, you know how like all that shit's going viral right now where they're they're trying to recreate the part where he's like. And look at her in her dress, and she wants to come back and, like, that little, like, theatrics. And I'm like, this is so theatrical and so camp. And tries to, like, play off. Like, he's like, I'm just the leader of dad talk, but, you know, he's a monster inside.
Laura Lee
Monster like that.
Manny
I feel like he tries to.
Laura Lee
His best friend, Dakota.
Manny
Girl, Girl. Trust. And, like, even when Jesse was talking about the idea of, like, you know, when she was. He's like, they were getting to a fight, and he was like, want me to ruin your life? I'm going to post those things. And then she started chasing him, and he was recording her, and he's like, well, you're gonna hit me, like Taylor? And I'm like, you know, he's.
Laura Lee
They know what they're doing. They literally film it all. They know what they're doing. Then they blackmail. When they're Stephen DeMarco.
Manny
Yes. And they're blackmailing their own partners.
Laura Lee
Yeah. Oh, insane.
Manny
This is. How is this even real? To me, it literally is like a show. But see, that's what I'm saying. Like, the DeMarco guy, the fact that that is a show and it's. Because it's so evil and it's written. That's how crazy it is.
Laura Lee
And it's real life.
Manny
Real life. Insane.
Laura Lee
It's real life.
Manny
Like, how is that even a fudgeing possibility? In my mind, it doesn't make any sense. So I'm just glad that Jesse got away from him and that, you know,
Laura Lee
everybody in her comments is just like, I want to know what's going to happen with the money. Like, everyone in the comments, they're just like, what? How much alimony? I want to know what's happening with that. I want to know how much money gives. Everyone wants to know.
Manny
I want to know, too.
Laura Lee
I know.
Manny
That's the problem.
Laura Lee
No, I mean, I also want to know. Maybe she'll tell. Tell. Maybe she'll tell. I know they're probably amidst the battle right now, but maybe she'll tell.
Manny
I mean, they're all pause filming, too, so I really do wonder, like, if the show will come back. Like, the shows come back from a pause.
Laura Lee
Yeah, okay. Definitely.
Manny
I always wonder because I'm like, I
Laura Lee
don't know about what they do. I don't know about the Bachelorette.
Manny
Baby, the Bachelor's done. Damn, it's wrapped, babe. I honestly. Where can we find the Hidden file.
Laura Lee
That's what I'm saying. Where can we get.
Manny
Where can we find the hidden footage? And where can we find the leak of the entire season? The thing is, they're not. The whole season's not even edited, though. It's like, we need a leak. You know how they. They edit between, like, the episodes, like, when they launch to see what people have a reaction.
Laura Lee
A leak.
Manny
Have to. At least. At least have to the beginning. But they all keep saying that, like, Taylor was actually, like, a different person on the Bachelor.
Laura Lee
She was isolated from all these crazy.
Manny
Dakota being the main one saying that she, like. It was like, a different side of her that was, like, really soft and, like, actually really fantastic. And I'm like, girl, get him. Get her away from that man monster, literally.
Laura Lee
Okay, moving on. Justin and Blake court case. So this finally come to head. So the final court case is going to be in May. So we are actually one month out from this whole Justin Valzone being done.
Manny
Done.
Laura Lee
Blake Lively case that I never want to hear about ever again in my life. I never want to hear about any of this. But as it turns out, 10 of 13 of her files against him were thrown out. Now, those were the smaller little defamation. A little bit of this, a little bit that. So they threw this out. The main file was his. What was it?
Manny
It was rebuttal.
Laura Lee
And, like, it was for harassment. Him plotting against her career, plotting the retaliation in the press. That was the main. And that one didn't get thrown out. And that one is going in front of a juror now.
Manny
Yeah. That it was, like, retaliate. I purposefully trying to, like, undermine her
Laura Lee
and retaliate in the public eye, which would be, like, a form of defamation, like, trying to take her down. It's that he hired a PR team to do that. Yeah. And I think they probably didn't throw it out because there was some. There has to be some sort of proof, or else, you know, the judge would have thrown that out, too. Totally, totally, totally.
Manny
I do think that when you're watching, like, let's say when you're watching the press track from the movie, I don't think that Blake made herself look good doing press.
Laura Lee
No.
Manny
I feel like she made herself look pretty bad during press. So it's like, I don't think, like, Justin, you have to do anything in those moments throughout the press junkets that they were doing for her to look bad.
Laura Lee
My problem is, is that they have text messages with him and his PR person where he said, I want to. Amber heard her yes. So that was my problem where that's literally blank as day. Like, he was going to go after her to try to. So I don't think she as well. I think, remember, she was like flowers and my hair care line when it was domestic violence. I do think the quote that she was saying was probably told to her from the movies. Pr.
Manny
Yes.
Laura Lee
Either way, I don't think it was going over well. I do think he probably tried to plot because he was so pissed that she hijacked the movie.
Manny
Right.
Laura Lee
And so I think, honestly, at the end of the day, they're like, justin won this. Even though, you know, Blake's still getting some of her court cases to go to trial, they're saying Justin still won because of Blake's reputation being so tarnished. And I think her reputation is completely tarnished.
Manny
Oh, me too. I think.
Laura Lee
But I also think Justin is terrible. Like, I know people are on his side in this, but it's still in Hollywood.
Manny
It just. I honestly think that this situation is one of those that it's just like they've both. They both really kind of almost. They kept. They've kept bringing each other down so far into the depths of the ocean at this point that it's so hard for either them, you know, even in the public's eye, to recover. And I do think that people are more on Justin's side for sure. And I think that that's, like, where the public consensus has lied. But at the end of the day, going through something this hard for this long, it's just gonna be big. It's a big thing on you for so long, and it's like, it's a loss. It's a lose. Lose on both sides, really, because it's like, monetary. It's also thinking about monetarily. Blake obviously has more money when it comes to, like, being, you know, with Ryan. You know, like, they have, like, probably more in that way combined. Whereas Justin, obviously, like, he has money to pay that, too. But, like, the fact that these cases have cost this much and have gone for so long, it's like, monetarily, they both are like, well, I think we're going to win.
Laura Lee
Also, it was reported that Justin Baldoni has, like, a $9 million mansion. So they said that he tried to sell, kind of rent it, sell it, try. So he started renting it out, and now he's got it back on the market at a lower rate. So it's like. Seems like he's like, okay, so. So, like, to pay a legal fee for this many Years on such a big case, you're both definitely losing. Oh, you are.
Manny
I think it's the. This is going based off of, like, principle now. I think that, like, at this point, they're both like, just running their wallets to, like, really, like, they don't really give a fuck at this point. They're like, doesn't matter how much money it cost me. Like, we're going to win. So I think both sides think that they have such strong cases.
Laura Lee
I agree that they're.
Manny
They think they're going to win.
Laura Lee
Yeah.
Manny
But at the day, the end of. Of the day, it's costing them at this point probably hundreds of thousands of dollars each. So it's like, oh, this is like, it seems just so far gone. Like, I don't know.
Laura Lee
And the lawyers are like, battling in the press because just about all these lawyers are like, see, 10 out of 13 got thrown out. And then like, slavely is like, no,
Manny
bitch, I got three more, baby.
Laura Lee
The main ones got passed through. So it's very tit for tat. It's very back and forth. I think the public eye is like, go, Justin. And I think that. I think Blake and Justin will both recover back. I think it'll take quite a few years, take a long time, and their wallets will hurt from this rich people.
Manny
Darn. Yeah.
Laura Lee
Okay, and then our last topic is that Offset got shot in a Florida casino.
Manny
Okay. That's also, like, insane. He was shot outside the casino.
Laura Lee
I think he was in the casino.
Manny
They shot her in the casino.
Laura Lee
I think it was trying to gamble. Yeah. A lot's going down, let me tell you. Yeah.
Manny
Like, it gets absolutely insane in Florida, but I saw, like, there was like, two people actually apprehended from the. The shooting.
Laura Lee
There were two people.
Manny
Yeah, apprehended that they arrested and the investigation guy.
Laura Lee
Little tj. Little TJ was arrested. He's a rapper. I don't know who Little TJ is.
Manny
I don't know who Little TJ is either. I also think that rapper names. I don't listen to Little tj. Unfortunately, he does. I don't.
Laura Lee
He loves Little tj.
Manny
Guys, Little TJ is not my tea. Little tj.
Laura Lee
Little tj.
Manny
No. I also just think it's so funny, like, hearing rappers and like this hardcore rapper that's like, shot Offset or like, what they're saying his name is Lil tj. Girl, what is happening?
Laura Lee
What is like, who are you and why are you shooting people?
Manny
What is going on?
Laura Lee
Also, me and Manny just learned. So the Migos Was a group of three guys. Offset was in the groove. What was his name? One of the members, Takeoff was shot
Manny
and murdered in 2022.
Laura Lee
In 2022.
Manny
Which is like, what the.
Laura Lee
What the.
Manny
Like, what the. And the fact that he was just shot too. So I'm like, wait, this is like.
Laura Lee
That's why I was like, there's something going on.
Manny
Something.
Laura Lee
Is something going on.
Manny
I don't know what's going on.
Laura Lee
Like, very, very, very scary. And I do not like it one single bit. But I'm like, oh, my God. I think this is more than just a random shooting.
Manny
I think so too. Now that we heard about, you know, take off Takeoff, like, it seems like there's something more to the story and that there's something like, happening.
Laura Lee
I hope the investigators know.
Manny
I'm sure the investigators.
Laura Lee
Do you think they know that?
Manny
I think that they're trying to make the case. I think they know about the 2022 murder. So, I mean, honestly, we'll have to just see what transpires. And I literally saw him, like, outside, Like, TMZ got a video of him, like, smoking a cigarette in his little, like, down in his medical gown.
Laura Lee
Oh, by the way, Offsets was only an injury. It was not a fatal at all shooting. I don't know where he got him. As guys hit in the arm or leg.
Manny
Yeah, like, but he's fine.
Laura Lee
Yeah, no, they were saying he's totally fine. He was literally smoking a cig.
Manny
He's like, baby, I got my sig. So insane. Right side the hospital. I'm like, this is just. Something feels wrong about here, this space. Smoking a cigarette right outside. It's just something.
Laura Lee
The bullet wound.
Manny
I can't. But that is it for our rapid fire that we have going on our little hot swap.
Laura Lee
Hopefully don't quote me, but hopefully next week.
Manny
Let's not quote each other.
Laura Lee
We might be.
Manny
We don't know yet.
Laura Lee
We don't know. I don't want to say it. And then we're back here next week. But we're getting close.
Manny
But it's really close to the studio being done, so we're gonna. We potentially might be in it next week. We don't know yet, though. So we'll find out.
Laura Lee
Bye, guys.
