This is a FOX News alert. A new round of strikes against Iran. I'm Lisa Lacera. Central Command forces have begun launching a series of powerful strikes against Iran after it targeted and attacked commercial ships manned by civilians in international waters. CENTCOM calling the strikes unwarranted, dangerous and a clear violation of the ceasefire. Earlier, the Trump administration revoked a license that allowed Tehran to sell its oil in the open market.

The Treasury Department waived some sanctions on Iranian oil sales as part of the 60 day ceasefire agreement reached between the US and Iran. But that license allowing oil sales is now revoked. It comes hours after three commercial ships were fired at by Iran as they transited the Strait of Hormuz. A memorandum of understanding between the US And Iran requires the free and safe passage of vessels through the narrow waterway.

New Jersey health officials say at least 29 heat related deaths were recorded across 10 different counties in the past week.
