It's up to 589 deaths in Venezuela's double earthquake disaster. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. Nearly 3,000 are injured as rescue crews continue to dig through the rubble of collapsed or damaged homes and buildings. And the American military is already there

helping US Southern Command. They are leading the efforts with a team on the ground with reinforcements from the USS Fort Lauderdale and the USS Billings currently heading to Venezuela. Now these naval ships will act as a floating command center for helicopters and rescue crafts as the search for survivors continue.

Fox's Dana Marie McNichol. Iran won't like this as it keeps demanding Israel withdraw from Lebanon. Israeli forces attacked Hezbollah again today, killing seven of the Iran backed militants who the IDF says were transferring weapons near a security zone. While tension remains in the Strait of Hormuz. The day after Iran targeted and attacked a cargo ship.

Some vessels had recently been evacuated through the United Nations International Maritime Organization's alternative route. But shortly after that ship was attacked by an Iran drone. The group just announced it is now pausing evacuation of vessels. Iran's Navy released a statement saying this route is unacceptable.

they're selling on Wall street, the Dow is down 100 points. The Nasdaq dropping 127. The S&P 500 losing 14 points. The price of oil down about 3%. WTI back 69 bucks a barrel at the pump, another penny dropped today. AAA's national average for regular 390 per gallon, still almost a dollar more than before the Iran conflict. And farmers are also getting a price break they need, and so do we at the grocery store in the fight against inflation.

The price of nitrogen based urea Fertilizer is about 26% lower now than it was a month ago. A lot of that type of fertilizer, nitrogen based, comes from the Middle East. It's falling precipitously after huge spikes.

The billionaires tax will be on the California ballot in November. The proposal was backed by a major California health care union and is a one time 5% tax on people with a net worth of $1 billion or more. The union says the money's needed to offset looming federal health care cuts. Opponents say the tax will only drive out billionaires and companies and investors in the state. Governor Gavin Newsom was among those who opposed it. He failed to reach a deal with the union supporting it to get it withdrawn. According to Forbes, California is home to more than 200 billionaires, the most of any state. Sue Guzman, FOX News.
