In South Carolina. Rough surf and flash flood warnings as Tropical Storm Chantel moves inland. Fox Weather's Mike Seidel is in North Myrtle Beach.
Mike Seidel
The wind is howling here at the beach. We're getting blasted by the sand. Still some leftover rain. We've got six to eight footers rolling in. Later on as the wind goes offshore, they'll clear up and the surfers are going to love that. Looking up the beach. There's a few folks out here. You know, I've spoken to a lot of people covering all these storms over the years, storms and hurricanes. A lot of them come out here because they've never experienced a tropical storm or hurricane. They just want to take it in. And it's safe to do so right now as long as you stay out of the water as far as impacts. Power outage is not too bad because the peak wind gust was here at the pier just down the beach at Spring Main Pier in Myrtle Beach. The peak wind gust for the storm that we've seen on the coast so far, 56 miles an hour.

Having made landfall, the National Hurricane center expects the tropical storm to quickly weaken President Trump's relationship with Ukraine's President Zelensky may be improving.

Then in April, the two met in Rome before the funeral of Pope Francis. The White House called it a productive discussion. Trump and Zelensky also talked Friday. Zelensky said in his daily video address, quote, it was probably the best conversation we have had. We discussed air defense issues and I'm grateful for the willingness to help. The Patriot system is precisely the key to protection against ballistic threats, end quote. President Trump has signaled the U.S. may be sending Patriot missiles to Ukraine. Jill. NATO, Fox News.
