Joint fundraising committees for political candidates are not new, but they usually aren't utilized by candidates from different parties. That's the situation with Pennsylvania Senators John Fetterman, a Democrat, and Dave McCormick, who is a repub is called Common Ground PA. And according to a July 6 filing with the Federal Election Commission, there are four PACs participating in it, two associated with each senator. The move has fueled more speculation that Fetterman could switch parties and join the gop. In May, he wrote an essay published in the Washington Post saying if he did, he would be a terrible Republican who still votes overwhelmingly with Democrats. Tanya J.

High temperatures could climb between 100 and 110 in some locations this weekend with record highs and warm overnight lows creating dangerous heat risk.
