We're still tracking a risk of some flooding as we move through the weekend. Now that's shifted a little farther off towards the east this morning. We're seeing at least some flooding, flood alerts, flood warnings there across portions of southern Illinois getting into Kentucky. So really along the Ohio River Valley, those are the areas where that rain is going to continue to come down. We've got a frontal boundary that's just kind of dripped across that region. A whole lot of humidity there. And these storms are just one after another after. When you start to see these storms train, that is when these rainfall totals can start to get really high.

The 41 year old was set to face incumbent GOP Senator Susan Collins in November, but he's been plagued by scandal, including an accusation from a former girlfriend who says he drunkenly forced her to have sex, which Platner denies. Maine's Democratic party has until July 27 to name his replacement.
