Senator Graham died Saturday night and a report from the Washington, D.C. medical examiner lists a preliminary cause as a tear in the aorta as a result of heart disease.

He was known for his staunch support for Ukraine in its war with Russia. Senator Graham described by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zielinski as a true defender of freedom and the values that make our world safer. The two men met just days before the South Carolina Republican sudden passing.

Turning to Wall street, it is a mixed market so far to start the week, the dow is up 131 points, but the Nasdaq's down 235. The S&P 500 dropping 19 points as oil prices they are on the rise. It's up more than 3%, putting WTI back to 73 bucks a barrel. No change in the gas pump. AAA's national average for regular remains 387 a gallon. That is 8 cents more than last week, reversing a big decline from the peak of the Iran conflict surge in May. There's a new study linking brain tumors to br birth control drugs.

Disney's Moana capturing the top spot at the weekend box office, but not in dominating fashion. It earned an estimated $43 million in the U.S. and Canada and 52 million internationally. Not exactly strong showing considering it cost a reported $250 million to make. Competition from other family films that have already opened may have played a role in Moana's lukewarm debut, with Minions and Monsters coming in second at 20.5 million and Toy Story 5 finishing third with 18.5 million.
