No reaction to the inflation report yet from President Trump, but he did post on Truth Social minutes ago. Great deal for everybody just made with Indonesia. He added he dealt directly with their highly respected president. Details to follow this amid numerous trade negotiations with countries working to make deals to avoid US Tariffs on imports. Now the president will soon travel to Pittsburgh for an innovation summit with a big focus on artificial intelligence.

The Department of Justice says Victor Cruz, a tax expert, helped Miguel Martinez file thousands of fake income tax returns that resulted in $25 million worth of refunds. Officials say Martinez, a Mexican national in the US illegally worked the scheme from 2019 to 2023, using ST to create fake businesses and report phony wage and withholding information to the IRS before submitting hundreds of tax returns. Using the stolen and fraudulent information, Cruz prepared and filed more than 500 of those returns and got thousands of dollars in fees from Martinez. Cruz faces up to 10 years in prison when he's sentenced in November. Martinez has pleaded guilty and has been sentenced to six years in prison. Tanya J.
