overnight, Iran has once again been firing at its neighbors. The Petra news agency out of Jordan says that eight hostile aircraft were intercepted. Iran says these were drones and they were fired at U.S. bases in Jordan.

This is a tanker flagged out of Curacao named the Belma. The US Says a big ship was headed toward Iran's primary oil hub, Kharg Island. The ship ignored multiple warnings, so US Aircraft fired multiple hellfire missiles into the smokestack. Two tankers were turned around the previous day.

We're seeing some selling on Wall Street. The dow is down 12 points. The Nasdaq's down a lot more.210, the S&P 500 losing 21 points. We got updates to the economy this morning showing a slight decline in first time unemployment claims last week, 208,000. Another report is affected by a decline in inflation.

Gasoline prices cooled in June, allowing Americans to spend on retail sales rose a modest 2.10of a percent last month. It's the smallest increase since January. For the year ending in June, retail sales were up 6.7%. Previous months saw a jump in spending to cover higher gasoline prices. Crude oil prices and gas moderated in June, though prices rose again recently. Excluding auto sales and gasoline, retail sales rose 4.10of a percent in June. FOX News.

The price of oil is up about a half percent. WTI back to 80 bucks a barrel. And as it rises again, so does gasoline. It's up a nickel today. AAA's national average for regular $3.94 per gallon.
