The U.S. has hit roads and bridges around Bandarabas, a strategic port city near the Strait of Hormuz. Their aim is to isolate the IRGC from resupplying. CENTCOM touted the destruction of one observation tower in particular, which they say significantly weakens the IRGC ability to coordinate attacks on ships. The US Is denying Iran's claim that it's hitting civilian infrastructure, arguing it's been striking military targets with one goal in mind. On the other hand, the US Says Iran has been the bad actor carrying out these attacks on civilian ships and damaging a water desalination plant in Kuwait. Iran is refusing to back down, carrying out retaliatory attacks on U.S. targets in the Gulf region.

Poor air quality affecting millions as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to drift across the U.S. fox Weather's Adam Klotz.

Places like Pittsburgh over towards Baltimore, D.C. the heaviest smoke as of right now and we're going to see that shift quite a bit over the course of today because of a line of storms that are going to be maybe severe but certainly good news if you're trying to get rid of some of this smoke. And what you'll notice maybe a little bit less there through the Midwest, although they're still in place. And it begins to push more up into New England because a front's going to push, pushing all of that smoke, ultimately clearing it out, but initially pushing it up towards the north and east. All of that smoke working its way up the coast, getting into the Northeast. So New York, Boston, think earlier today, a lot of smoke in those cities. And then back behind that a cold front is going to sweep on through. That is really going to change the atmospheric conditions. So the winds will change wildfire smoke,
