A new warning to Iran. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. President Trump posted on the Truth Social a short time ago that the US Will impose major military punishment if the Iran backed Houthi rebels keep attacking ships in another waterway.

If Houthi forces attack additional vessels that both Iran and the Houthis will pay a heavy price. This does come after reports indicate two Saudi linked oil tankers were targeted near the Red Sea by this proxy group in Yemen. It also follows the 12th straight Night of Us strikes against Iran. According to Centcom, the strikes focused on degrading Iran's ability to threaten vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

Fox's Trey Youngst in Tel Aviv. Oil prices keep surging back up. WTI up more than 5%. It's over 91 bucks a barrel now 92. Brent crude is rising 6%. It's $100 again. And the gas pump price up 15 cents in the last week. And while the Iran conflict's all about preventing them from getting nuclear weapons, the US has worked out a deal with Saudi Arabia that Congress would have to appro to help the Saudis build a nuclear power program.

On Truth Social, President Trump revealed a previously unknown condition to a landmark agreement announced yesterday. He says American help for a Saudi civilian nuclear program is totally subject to Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords. They are a series of agreements which have expanded the number of Arab states with diplomatic ties to Israel.

The University of New Hampshire's Granite State Poll finds that 22% of likely Democratic primary voters support New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. It puts her one point ahead of former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. Democratic Senator Mark Kelly is in third place.

There's a sell off on Wall Street. The Dow is dropping almost 500 points. The Nasdaq's down 460. The S&P 500, losing 74 points, led lower by concerns about companies having to spend more to invest in artificial intelligence, driving Tesla down more than 12%. Google parent Alphabet losing about 5% after earnings reports and SPE speaking of the stock market, Congress takes a step to restricting lawmakers from investing in it.

The House approves the Stop Insider Trading act, which bars lawmakers, their spouses and dependent children from buying individual stocks, but allows them to keep and sell what they already own as long as sales are disclosed at least seven days in advance. The GOP backed measure picking up 13 votes across the aisle to pass 232 to 198. Some Democrats panning the measure as not going far enough. Another deterrent for many of them, a voter ID requirement inserted by House GOP leadership, part of the controversial Save America Act. The Senate has not scheduled a vote on its own version of the legislation. Lillian Wu, FOX News.

Companies appear to still be largely holding on to staff. The number of new claims for unemployment Benefits declined by 22,000 in the week ending July 18 to 187,000. And continuing claims those remaining on benefits declined by 2,000 to 1.79 million, suggesting more people were finding jobs or leaving the workforce. The numbers continue to suggest a low hire, low fire job market. Payroll processing company ADP this week reported private employers added an average of just 16,500 jobs per week in the four weeks ending July 4th, indicating hiring has slowed.
