This after a federal judge rejected Boeing's agreement to plead guilty to misleading government regulators about a crucial flight control system on the 737 Max jet found to have led to two crashes off the coast of Indonesia and in Ethiopia in 2018 and 2019 that killed 346. The government renegotiating the deal, saying it will dismiss the charge in exchange for Boeing paying or investing another $1.1 billion in fines, safety measures and compensation for the families.
