A terrible killing at a synagogue on this, as you noted, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar.

And that synagogue is in Manchester, England. Fox's Greg Palkot reports the attacker drove into a crowd outside, then got out of his car with a knife, stabbing at people.

He left two people killed, three people injured, and eventually he was killed by police. And they were very busy, busy evacuating worshippers, adding security not just there, but at synagogues all throughout the UK and.

Because of Yom Kippur, the next Senate vote on a bill to fund the government won't come till tomorrow. So the shutdown continues as Democrats dig in demanding changes to health care subsidies that will take effect next year. Be part of any bill, Senator Jeanne Shaheen tells fox.

It is yet another record morning on Wall Street. The dow is up 71 points. The Nasdaq's gaining 55 hit a new all time high this morning. And The S&P 500 also went higher than ever today, now up 5 points. The price of oil, though, down a little bit, continuing a recent decline, still about 61 bucks a barrel. Gas is down a fraction. But AAA's national average for regular mains almost $3.16 per gallon, same price as a week ago, 4 cents cheaper than now. An update on the ongoing trade war with China.

A Delta flight attendant is recovering this morning from an injury said to be non life threatening after the plane she was on got clipped by another plane at New York's LaGuardia Airport. Fox's Lauren Green's there.

It happened just before 10 Eastern time last night between two regional Delta jets operated by Endeavour airlines. Delta Flight 5047 was taxing to the gate after arriving from Charlotte, North Carolina, while Flight 5155 was taxing for a departure to Roanoke, Virginia. Delta's preliminary report says the departing aircraft's wing made contact with the fuselage of the arriving aircraft and none of the 85 passengers were injured.
