Hoping for peace. I'm Paul Stevens, Fox News. From the Oval Office, President Trump saying that his administration is very close to ending the war in gossip and returning the final 48 hostages to their families. Hamas has partially agreed to a 20 point peace plan after the president warned the terror group it would face quote, all hell, unquote, if it did not accept the deal by 6pm Sunday. Hamas later releasing a statement saying in part, it, quote, affirms its readiness to immediately enter the negotiations through mediators to discuss the details of the agreement, unquote. Here is the president. Everybody was unified in wanting this war to end and seeing peace in the Middle east. And we're very close to achieving that. And there's still much work to do. Though Hamas has Only partially accepted Mr. Trump's peace plan and has given no clear response to surrendering its weapons. Fox's Steve Harrigan in Tel Aviv, Hamas.

Officials indicating a willingness to release those 48 hostages, 20 of whom are still believed to be alive, also agreeing to hand over power to other Palestinian groups in Gaza, not mentioning some key details. Will they disarm? Will they agree not to be a part of future ruling clans inside of Gaza? They have not agreed to that yet. Israel agreeing to what it calls the first stage of this program. That would be the hostage release. After that, they would halt their offensive. They would allow in massive amounts of humanitarian aid and also release some Palestinian prisoners.

Now the president wants Israel to halt attacks in Gaza. Residents, however, of Gaza City reported that strikes continued in the hours following the Hamas announcement. The US Launching a strike on an alleged drug boat in Venezuela. President Trump claims it carried enough drugs to kill tens of thousands. Some critics suppose using military force on civilian criminal groups. America is listening to Fox News.

Combs Hip hop mogul Sean Diddy Combs has been sentenced to just over four years in federal prison for transporting people across state lines to engage in drug fueled sexual encounters. The 55 year old has already served a year behind bars so he could be released in about three. A jury convicted Combs back in July. He was also fined half a million dollars and apologized in court calling his actions disgusting and shameful.

Fox's Chanley Painter Combs also fined a half million dollars. He was acquitted on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. A suburban snub against the Homeland Security secretary Secretary Kristi Noem says she and her staff were denied entry into a government building outside Chicago yesterday. She claims her team wanted to use the restrooms inside of the Village of Broadview's municipal building, but they were told they could not, although no reason was given. The Village of Broadview is where federal agents are clashing with anti ICE protesters outside of an ICE facility. I'm Paul Stevens. This is Fox News.
