Hamas says it has released all of the remains that it can locate. The group says that significant efforts and specialized equipment are needed to locate the others. US Officials saying Hamas is not in violation of the agreement and that phase two will move forward as planned. Part of that next phase will include an international stabilization force that has oversight from the US Military but not American boots on the ground to participate.

We're getting an update from Israel on the attacks in Yemen targeting Iran backed Houthi rebels. The Israeli defense minister posted on X today that an August airstrike killed the Houthis chief of staff. Venezuela's leader Nicolas Maduro, who's wanted in the US with a $50 million reward for his arrest for drug trafficking, is calling for peace. Warning the U.S. is attempting regime change after President Trump acknowledged covert CIA operations underway inside Venezuela after blowing up five drug boats off the coast. U.S. ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz tells Fox these are designated terror gangs and President Trump is going to do whatever it takes. The Senate will try again today to end the standoff over funding the government on day 16 of the shutdown. Nine earlier votes, all failed.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune has reportedly signaled to Democrats, though, that he is willing to make a deal with them and give them a vote on extending the Affordable Care act subsidies if they will agree to reopen the government.

We're seeing green on Wall street so far today. The Dow is up 91 points. The Nasdaq's gaining 114, a 20 point increase for the S&P 500. The price of oil is up a couple of pennies still around 58 bucks a barrel as gas continues its daily decline down another cent. AAA's national average for regular $3.05 per gallon. That's 6 cents less than a week ago, 15 cents cheaper than this day last year. As the government shutdown continues, there continue to be thousands of flight delays daily, in some cases related to some air traffic controllers not getting paid as they keep working, calling out sick. There was a different issue, though, at a few airports, a hacking.
