Gaza ceasefire teetering on Jack Callahan, Fox News Israel launching airstrikes into Gaza in response to an attack by Hamas militants on Israeli troops stationed there. Israel's military condemning the assault is a blatant violation of last week's ceasefire agreement. Fox's Trey yanks reports from Tel Aviv.

We understand that Hamas violated the agreement by firing across the yellow line. This is the line that divides the the Gaza Strip, where Israeli forces are currently in control and where Hamas is still in control. And according to this military official that I talked to, there were two separate attacks. One was an RPG attack and the other was a sniper attack targeting Israeli forces within Gaza. The Israelis still control about 53% of the Gaza Strip. As part of phase one of this agreement, if the ceasefire moves forward, they will pull back, but this yellow line will continue to be something that we talk about.

Israel has also condemned Hamas for delaying the return of bodies of the fallen hostages. President Trump's critics took to the streets in major U.S. cities yesterday to protest the administration's policies. BOX of Jackie Ibanez with that, hundreds.

Of thousands of people took to the streets across the country to protest the Trump administration and its policies. More than 2,500 no Kings rallies were planned in all 50 states. That's up from roughly 1800 during similar demonstrations in June. Protesters voiced outrage over a wide range of issues, including perceived threats to democracy, ICE raids, troop deployment to US Cities and cuts to federal programs. The events have been peaceful.

Thieves stole priceless jewels from the Louvre museum in Paris today, entering via a lift basket, according to France's interior minister. Robbery lasted just seven minutes, targeting Napoleon era jewels in the Apollo Gallery museum is obviously closed for the day. Police have sealed off the area as they seek the suspects. Afghanistan and Pakistan have agreed to a ceasefire brokered by Qatar and Turkey. It takes effect immediately. The truce designed to halt ongoing hostilities between the two countries. The Taliban's chief spokesman and Pakistan's defense minister confirming the deal today. Tensions have been rising since early October with both sides accusing the other of aggression. There have been more foreign recalls. Fox's Daria Albiger has details.
