This is what happened around 6:00 clock this evening. I'm told that a gunman came up near the White House on the west side, what is described to me as Gate 17. This is kind of near 14th street on the west side of the White House and came up and brandished some sort of a pistol. We don't know what type of pistol it was. But he then fired toward the White House three times. And the United States Secret Service, they returned fire. We don't know how many shots that they got off and they apparently took the gunman down. Now, sometime in this gunfire exchange, a civilian on the street was struck by this gunfire and we do not know the condition of that person right now. But the important thing to know is that the gunman who came up with the pistol and was taken down by

Fox is told that a call took place today at 1pm and that was supposed to include leaders from Saudi, Qatar, the uae, Egypt, Turkey and Pakistan. President Trump said that he would meet with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner and that Vice President J.D. vance was also expected to join that call. The Iranians today say that they're working on this 14 clause memorandum of understanding and under that proposal that they would reportedly agree to end the war and commit to 30 days of more negotiations. Iran claims that the deal does not include Washington's nuclear capabilities. However, of course, that is going to be one of the hard lines for the administration, something they have repeatedly argued is a non negotiable.

Now Thames Valley police, they provided an update this week on its investigation into the allegations of misconduct in public office by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. Previously, police said they were assessing reports that the former prince said sent confidential trade documents to Jeffrey Epstein while serving as a UK's trade envoy. Newly released government documents show Queen Elizabeth was very keen for Andrew to take that trade role. But detectives, they say they're expanding their appeal, saying misconduct in public office can take different forms, including potentially financial or sexual offenses. Officers say they're speaking to a number of witnesses calling this a serious and complex case. The former prince was arrested in February on his 66th birthday, later released under caution and further investigation.
