Ex Colleton County Clerk Becky Hill pleaded guilty to misconduct in office, obstruction of justice and perjury for her conduct during the Alec Murdoch murder trial. Now we know the extent of her crimes. From January 2021 to March 2020, in checks from the clerk's office were written to Hill, most reimbursing her for meals. The report also says after the trial, Hill only showed up to the courthouse two or three days a week. Hill is also accused of showing graphic crime scene photos to members of the media.
