The US Unleashes fresh attacks on Iran. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. President Trump says Iran's drone attack on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz was a violation of the ceasefire and today the US Military retaliated. Fox News chief national security correspondent Jeff Jennifer Griffin reports from Washington.

Shortly after 4pm Eastern, not long after the President hinted from the Oval Office that the US could respond to the IRGC attack on a Singapore flagged ship. Overnight in the Strait of Hormuz in violation of the current ceasefire, the US Military began carrying out airstrikes on Iranian targets. The airstrikes involving U.S. warplanes lasted about one hour. U.S. central Command issued the following U.S. forces conducted strikes against Iran as a powerful response to yesterday's attack on a commercial ship that was transiting the Strait of Hormuz. US Aircraft struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations and coastal radar sites after Iran hit MV Ever Lovely on June 25th with a one way attack drone.

Iran has increasingly challenged the region and the US over control of the Strait of Hormuz. US Military is on the ground in Venezuela to help with rescue efforts following this week's catastrophic back to back earthquakes. Fox's Dana Marie McNicol reports from Florida on the deployment of these critical resources.

He pushed for Congress to pass the SAVE Act.

The bill passed the House earlier this year but remains stalled in the Senate. An appeals Court upholds Harvey Weinstein's 2022 rape conviction but says he must be re sentenced. The California appeals panel issued the ruling one day after New York Prosecut said Weinstein would not face a fourth trial there.
