You know, last night, Cape Verde, the Cinderella story so far of this World cup, the smallest nation, the knockout stage, almost defeating the defending champions Lionel Messi and Argentina, Cape Verde's Sydney Cabral with maybe the goal of the World cup to tie it, but ultimately losing three to two in extra time. This is the Only official America 250 event happening at a military base. So it's really pretty special because what better way to celebrate America than the men and women who defend it? So this place is going to be packed up when it kicks off. A Ferris wheel, lots of games here and then we have lots of food trucks, delicious tacos. I could tell you it smells good out here. So these people who are coming are in for a treat. There's also going to be a military ceremony, a concert and a lot of fireworks. But really what makes Fort Campbell special, it's not about the celebration. It's the mission here and the history of this place. The post is home to some of the army's most elite units.
