This afternoon, U.S. forces hit greater Tomb island outside the Strait of Hormuz for the first time Iran has controlled it since 1971. The UAE has long claimed the island belongs to them. The ramped up sorties along Iran's coastline and attempt to increase shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and potentially pave the way for US Warships to sail through something that hasn't happened for two months.
