It's been canceled. I'm Lisa Licera. Fox News. President Trump is blocking nearly $5 billion in foreign aid already approved by Congress.
Fox News Reporter
The White House Budget Office is employing a rarely used presidential power, the pocket rescission to scrap $4.9 billion in congressionally approved funding for foreign aid. Federal law allows a president to send Congress requests to claw back funding and withhold that money for up to 45 days while lawmakers consider the proposal. But with fewer than 45 days left in the current federal fiscal year, a so called pocket rescission essentially ensures the funding is canceled. Democrats warn the White House rescissions will make it much harder to reach a bipartisan spending deal needed to prevent a government shutdown on October 1st.

Woman who did unlicensed dental work on a number of people is under arrest.
Fox News Reporter
The ad seemed too good to be true. A woman in Florida who described herself as as a veneer tech promised to make over smiles for a fraction of what it would cost for a dentist to do the work. Emily Martinez worked on a number of clients in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. Only problem? Police say her practices were nothing to smile about. Like using crazy glue to attach veneers, her clients were left with infections, damaged teeth and expensive bills to fix the damage. Oh, and she doesn't have a license. Martinez, who was first arrested in Tampa in 2024, was denied bond after being arrested again back in March. Daria Albinger, FOX News the Miami Dolphins.
