Suffolk County, New York prosecutors will be allowed to use evidence gathered from advanced DNA testing that they say links Rex Heuerman to six of the seven women he's accused of killing. Heuerman has pleaded not guilty to the murders of the women, whose remains were found near Gilgo beach on Long Island. The deaths date back to 1993. At issue is the new DNA technology used, known as whole genome sequencing, which has not been tested in a New York court. The DNA results deemed admissible by the judge were obtained from rootless hairs discovered from six of the victims. Heuerman's attorney claims it's a public health violation, and the judge is expected to rule on that challenge later this month. In New York, Tanya J. Powers, FOX News.
