A weekend of protests. I'm Daria Albinger, Fox News. The demonstrators showed up again today in Chicago angry over President Trump's decision to send National Guard troops into crackdown on crime and illegal immigration. Fox's Mike Tobin Is there a lot.
B
Of familiar faces in this protest? Because it was a group of 11 different protest groups that have gathered around the city from time to time and they came together under the umbrella of the Coalition against the Trump Agenda. So they protested everything across the but really focused in on the president's agenda when they were speaking. Now the flames were fanned by this post that was put up by the president on Truth Social calling Chicago shypocalypse channeling Robert Duvall from the movie Apocalypse now and said Chicago about to find out why it's called the Department of War.

Chicago officials say, Mr. President, those troops are not wanted nor are they needed. The president may soon impose a second stage of sanctions for Russia now that Moscow's launched its largest air attack on Ukraine since their war began. Ukrainian officials say at least four people are dead. Israel is continuing its takeover of Gaza City.
C
IDF forces knocking down three drones fired by Houthi rebels in Yemen. But one managed to get through hitting an Israeli airport near the southern city of A Lot, shutting down operations, causing some damage, injuring two people. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Netanyahu vowed the invasion of Gaza City, a stronghold for Hamas, and is moving forward. High rise buildings are being toppled. Evacuation notices posted. 100,000 residents have fled south. More protests demanding the release of the hostages. It is feared the new military action will endanger those alive. A new proposal from the Trump administration in part would see all the hostages released in exchange for release of Palestinian prisoners.

The apparent frontrunner in New York's race for mayor says the Trump administration is interfering in the election. Democratic Socialist Ziran Mamdani says Mayor Eric Adams reportedly met with White House special envoy Steve Witkoff about a position in the administration. More from FOX As CB Cotton New.
E
York Governor Kathy Hochul said on Fox News Sunday, it needs to stop.
A
It is up to the voters and there should not be outside influences on this decision. From the White House on down, let the voters of New York.
E
Her remarks come as Mamdani stood shoulder to shoulder with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders at that Brooklyn town hall event last night. The crowd erupted as Sanders praised Mamdani's campaign and said, quote, what are these people, these oligarchs afraid of? While referencing those outside calls that are aiming to narrow the mayoral field to a two way race between Mamdani and former Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Adams also posting on social media that he's not dropping out. And Republican Curtis Sliwa says he's staying in the race as well. Last week's ICE raid at a Hyundai plant in Georgia resulted in the detentions of about 475 workers, many of them South Koreans. Now Fox's Madison Scarpino says they're going home.
E
South Korean media is saying that the foreign minister is planning to travel to the US to finalize what they are calling an administrative procedure for this deal. And after that happens, South Korea will reportedly send a chartered plane here and those hundreds, hundreds of detainees, many who were searched and shackled, will fly back home to South Korea. The foreign country hopes this will not happen again. U.S. immigration officials say the 475 people arrested at this megasite were the result of a months long investigation into illegal workers.
A
No detainees are facing charges. I'm Daria Aldinger. This is FOX News.
