President Trump celebrated the news on Truth Social, congratulating ABC for the move. One week after Charlie Kirk was assassinated on a Utah college campus, police rather people continue to honor him at the headquarters of his organization, Turning Point usa.

There's been a constant stream of people showing up here to pay their respects and honor the life of Charlie Kirk, but there's also been this renewed interest in his organization. In the past week, Turning Point USA says it has received more than 54,000 requests from students nationwide to start new chapters. By comparison, There are currently 2100 official chapters on campuses.

Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state who rejected Donald Trump's call to overturn the 2020 election results in his state, has announced he's running for governor. Two other Republicans are already in the race, Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones and Attorney General Chris Carr. On the Democratic side, former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, state Senator Jason Estevez and former state Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond are also in the running. General Mills says it's lowering prices across two thirds of the products it sells in response to budget conscious shoppers. Chief executive Jeff Harmening says the price cuts will be made this year, though about half of the cuts were already made in recent months. General Mills makes Cheerios, Pillsbury and many other food brands. Its sales fell nearly 7% in the recent quarter, reflecting lower prices, though its earnings topped expectations. The company says its turnaround plan is starting to yield results. General Mills also says it's launching new products and increasing marketing.
