President Trump taking to Truth Social to say on his orders US Forces carried out a strike targeting a ship affiliated with a designated terrorist organization found to be trafficking illicit narcotics, killing at least three men on board. The president not sharing specific details about the exact location, but posting the lethal kinetic strike took place in the U.S. southern Command's area of response, a region that encompasses south and Central America and the Caribbean. The president went on to say no U.S. forces were harmed. Earlier this week, he announced a U.S. strike on a boat allegedly carrying drugs from Venezuela, killing three on board. Another boat from Venezuela was hit by the US two weeks ago, killing 11.

North Carolina State is being sued by 14 former male athletes for negligence. The news comes after the athletes filed a lawsuit this week alleging sexual abuse under the guise of treatment by the Wolf Pack's former director of sports medicine. The lawsuit alleges years of misconduct by Robert Murphy Jr. Which includes improper touching of the genitals during massages and intrusive observation while collecting urine samples. In a statement, an attorney for Murphy said he has been falsely accused, adding in part, quote, in three years of representing Robert Murphy in and out of court, we have yet to see one scrap of credible evidence that he assaulted anyone. Has asked the Supreme Court to halt a judge's order allowing transgender and non binary people to choose the sex marker on their passports. They the Justice Department says the government can't be required to use sex designations that it considers inaccurate on official documents. Starbucks workers from three different states sued the company, saying the company violated the law over a dress code.

Starbucks baristas in three states are taking legal action against their company. They say the coffee giant won't reimburse them for clothing they purchased to comply with the company's new dress code, requiring in part, a plain black shirt and khaki bottoms or jeans. Starbucks tells us, quote, when we introduced the new dress code, we provided our partners with two shirts at no cost. It also says barista turnover is at record lows as their corporate turnaround takes effect. CEO Brian Nichols says the new look is helping Starbucks create a more welcoming store experience.
