Ryan Routh called just three witnesses before resting the defense in his federal trial on allegations he attempted to shoot then candidate Trump on a Florida golf course in 2024. He pressed a firearms expert on the operability and range of the SKS rifle found at the scene and then questioned two family who described the defendant as generous. Former co worker Marshall Hinshaw said when he and his pregnant girlfriend ran into tough times, Ruth provided them a home. The defendant decided not to testify on his own behalf, but he's expected to deliver the defense's closing argument on Tuesday.

The White House says the speech is set to address what it calls the renewal of American strength and historic domestic and international accomplishments. Border czar Tom Holman pushing back and for allegations he accepted a $50,000 bribe last year as part of an FBI sting operation.

Director Cash Patel says the FBI is meticulously investigating theories and questions and the possibility of accomplices. That matches comments Patel made to Congress last week where he didn't rule out additional suspects and that the FBI was running down those who were involved in a group chat on the platform discourse involving the accused suspect and dozens of others. The Justice Department has also looked into ways to bring federal charges against the shooter. And the prosecutor in Utah has said he would seek the death penalty against the suspect, 22 year old Tyler Robinson in Washington, Ryan Schmell's Fox News sentencing.

For a former Rhode island basketball coach who asked student athletes to remove their clothes to remove to check their body fat. Aaron Thomas, sentenced to a year of probation after he was found not guilty earlier this year to a second degree child molestation and second degree sexual assault charge. He was found guilty of the lesser charge of two counts of misdemeanor battery. A new survey suggests more teenage boys are becoming addicted to video games.

A new survey shows that 15 to 17 year old boys play video games 34 hours a week. That's almost five hours a day, seven days a week. As for parents, nearly eight in 10 are concerned about their child's screen time. Two thirds are worried about their children being actually addicted to video games. And for good reason. There's growing evidence that adolescents vulnerable undeveloped brains are easy prey for the addictive dopamine hits that come from apps and algorithms. The average time that children spend gaming has increased by nearly three and a half hours per week in just one year.
