Ryan Routh called just three witnesses before resting the defense in his federal trial on allegations he attempted to shoot then candidate Trump on a Florida golf course in 2024. He pressed a firearms expert on the operability and range of the SKS rifle found at the scene and then questioned two family who described the defendant as generous. Former co worker Marshall Hinshaw said when he and his pregnant girlfriend ran into tough times, Ruth provided them a home. The defendant decided not to testify on his own behalf, but he's expected to deliver the defense's closing argument on Tuesday.

The White House says the speech is set to address what it calls the renewal of American strength and historic domestic and international accomplishments. Border czar Tom Holman pushing back and for allegations he accepted a $50,000 bribe last year as part of an FBI sting operation.

On Fox's the Ingram Angle, multiple media outlets say Homan was under investigation last summer for solic payments in exchange for contracts in a second Trump administration. Earlier today, White House press secretary Caroline Levitt said the president stands by Homan because he did nothing wrong.
