Jury about two and a half hours to find Ryan Routh guilty of trying to assassinate President Trump last year, a crime that carries a maximum penalty of life in prison. Once the jury delivered the verdict, Ruth tried to stab himself several times in the neck with a pen. U.S. marshals restrained him, took him out of the courtroom. They returned a few minutes later with Ruth shackled and without his jacket and tie. His daughter Sarah shouted that she loved him and would fight to get him out of prison. She was taking notes and appeared involved in the case. As Sarah and her brother left the courthouse, she accused the media of lying about her father.

President Trump is shifting his negotiating strategy on ending the Russia Ukraine war, stating he no longer believes in a land swap and that over time, based on the Russian economy, Ukraine can eventually get all of its land back. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky tells Fox's Bret Baier this is a welcome change.

Trump says the US Will continue to send arms to NATO for Ukraine. Nexstar and Sinclair Broadcasting are still refusing to air Jimmy Kimmel Live after his show was reinstated by ABC.

Disney called Kimmel's comments ill timed and thus insensitive and says it brought Kimmel back after days of thoughtful conversations with him.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer Democrats rejected a previous Republican plan to avert a shutdown. They're demanding any spending plan, restore Obamacare, tax credits and Medicaid funding. The suspect accused of carrying out Long Island's infamous Gilgo beach killings has lost his bid to separate his case into multiple trials. The New York State Supreme Court justice ruling that the trial for Rex Uerman will move forward as a single case. Heuerman is accused of killing seven people across several decades on New York's Long Island. His lawyers argued that there was no unique and consistent threat to all the murders. But Prosecutors say the 62 year old targeted victims who are all petite women in their twenties involved in the sex trade, noting that nearly all of their remains were found in the same location. Investigators finding hundreds of servers of more than 100,000 SIM cards in New York City foiling a plot that could have caused a telecommunications blackout. While world leaders gather for the UN.
