They had a test vote on the Republican bill to keep the government open at the current funding levels. Tonight the vote was 55 to 45, but they needed 60 yeas. However, there were three Democratic defections. Angus King, he is an independent from Maine who caucuses with the Democrats Catherine Cortez Masto, a Democrat from Nevada, and John Fetterman. Only Fetterman voted for the bill about a week and a half ago. Now John Thune, the majority leader, says that he's been having some conversations with Democrats and says that some Democrats are unhappy with the situation. They don't like how Chuck Schumer is handling this.

Fox's Chad Perkham @ the Capitol. Senate Democrats have called on Republicans to extend the Affordable Health Care tax credit as part of their demands. The Republicans say that tax credit is actually going to insurance companies. The White House is withdrawing the nomination of E.J. antony to lead the Bureau of Labor Statistics. No reason was given only to say that Antoni was a talented economist. And President Trump plans to announce a new nominee soon. Turning point USA's college tour has returned to Utah for the first time since founder Charlie Kirk was gunned down. But the stop at a different college campus, Utah State University, was not without incident.

A staff worker at the old Main, that's Utah State's main administration building, spotted a suspicious package outside under a tree. They called police who responded fast and evacuated that building for about 45 minutes while they did a controlled detonation.

Fox's Claudia Cowan authorities are investigating, but the university does not believe the package was a threat or related to the Turning Point event which went on as scheduled under tight security. America is listening to Fox News.

The death of a 32 year old man on a Universal Studios Orlando roller coaster earlier this month is bringing claims of other issues with that ride.

Kevin Rodriguez Zavala died while riding Universal's Stardust racers coaster which can go up to 62 miles an hour. Attorney Ben Crump, who represents Zavala's family, says others are now reporting failing restraints and blunt force injuries on that ride.
Eben Brown
This shows that Kevin's case was not an isolated incident.
Ben Crump
A medical examiner ruled blunt force impact killed Zavala. Large Florida parks such as Universal and Disney are exempt from state inspections performing their own. Crump is calling for more government oversight. Universal said in an earlier statement the ride worked as intended, but they have not reacted to the additional complaints. Is facing potential charges for faking his own abduction and assault.

Amber Alert posted for an abducted 17 year old boy prompted an intense search by deputies in Marion County, Florida this weekend. It started when the teen sent text messages begging his family for help, claiming he was not only taken, but shot. Sheriff Billy Wood says it was found out to be a dangerous ruse. Who had a handgun with him since the beginning of all of this, chose to shoot himself in the leg. The wound wasn't life threatening, but the boy is now believed to have abandoned his truck and was hiding out in a tent. And he could face charges for false reports. Have discovered life size rock carvings of camels, gazelles and other animals in Saudi Arabia dating back around 12,000 years. The scientists say they were created using a wedge shaped rock. The art and tools show that people lived in the area about 2,000 years earlier than previously thought, though it's not yet clear how they survived. The findings published in the journal Nature Communications. I'm Lisa Licera. This is FOX News.
