U.S. northern Command had said 200 National Guard troops were being sent into Portland. But in response to a lawsuit by Oregon's attorney general, a federal judge has granted a temporary restraining order to keep them out of until October 18th. President Trump wants his troops in, citing several demonstrations outside the Portland ICE facility, calling the city war ravaged. But Oregon Governor Tina Kotek and other Democrats have been saying there's no need for those troops, that the president and others are misrepresenting the situation and Portland officials say their police can handle those protests. Jill NATO, Fox News Applying the pressure.

To get peace, President Trump posting on Truth Social that Israel has agreed to an initial withdrawal line in Gaza and when Hamas confirms a ceasefire will be effective.
C
President Trump is urging Hamas to follow through and start releasing those hostages. He posted, quote, hamas must move quickly or else all bets will be off. I will not tolerate delay which many think will happen, or any outcome where Gaza poses a threat. Again, let's get this done fast. Everyone will be treated fairly. The president also says he appreciates that Israel has temporarily stopped bombing Gaza to give the hostage release and peace deal a chance. Israel says it believes there are around 20 living hostages in Gaza. Hamas says it's willing to release the hostages and transition Gaza's government to other Palestinians.

Fox's Rich Hudson Hamas said Friday it's willing to release hostages and hand over power to other Palestinians. But other parts of that plan require more consultations. America is listening to Fox News.

A judge sentencing Sean Diddy Combs on Friday to four years in prison, five years of supervised release and a $500,000 fine.

Once all said and done, he'll likely only spend about two and a half years behind bars if he gets credit for time served and good behavior. But the rapper's defense team still is not satisfied, arguing that they've got a strong case for an appeal. The rapper himself, his adult children and other supporters pleaded for leniency, asking the judge for a sentence that have let Diddy walk by the end of this year. On time served, he told the judge he no longer cared about fame and was a changed man. The judge said the court had to send a message to abusers about accountability and that he was not convinced Diddy would not reoffend.

Fox's CB Cotton Combs also faces 50 civil lawsuits for sexual abuse. He was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Note cards used by former President Joe Biden are raising more concerns about the former president's mental state while in office. Fox's Mark Meredith has details from Washington.

The cards, spotted on occasion by press photographers, listed people at public events, even highlighting high profile people widely known in politics, world affairs and Hollywood. A former Biden staffer tells FOX the cards are standard operating procedure for briefing materials, but House Republicans believe it's part of a broader cover up. Critics are also curious about one particular card showing a potential question from ABC News. The reporter asked a different question, but critics say the photo sparks real concerns about journalism ethics in 2023. The White House denied it was getting any advance notice.

The House is releasing a separate report on Biden's mental health while in office. That's expected by the end of the year. I'm Angelo Bavaro and this is Fox.
